HOMECOMING CONTINUES
With the conclusion of the ECW Homecoming Qualifying Matches, the field is set for next week’s Over-the-Top-Rope Challenge. Eight
Superstars – including this week’s additions of CM Punk and Shelton Benjamin – will square off to determine who’ll face ECW Champion
Christian at Royal Rumble.
CM Punk interrupts ECW Champion Christian. At the beginning of the evening, ECW Champion Christian welcomed the WWE Universe to ECW, and
kicked off the night with his thoughts on the ECW Homecoming. But before Captain Charisma could further discuss who he thinks he’ll face at
Royal Rumble, he was interrupted by CM Punk. SmackDown’s Second City Saint – and former ECW Champion – brought his crusade to the Land of the
Extreme Tuesday night, stating his straightedge way of life will save the WWE Universe. He also claimed he’s going to win the ECW Homecoming
and go on to become the Straightedge ECW Champion at Royal Rumble, a promise Christian quickly refuted.
Shelton Benjamin defeated Chavo Guerrero. Former ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero returned this week to compete in the seventh ECW Homecoming
Qualifying Matches. But the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior was bested by one of ECW’s brightest, most athletic Superstars, Shelton Benjamin.
After hitting Paydirt, The Gold Standard pinned Guerrero for the win, sending him back to Raw without a chance to compete for the ECW
Championship.
Benjamin advanced to the ECW Homecoming Over-the-Top-Rope Challenge along with Evan Bourne, Matt Hardy, Yoshi Tatsu,
Vance Archer, Ezekiel Jackson and Kane. Three weeks ago, ECW General Manager Tiffany announced the exciting, new concept that will
determine who receives the next ECW Championship Match – the ECW Homecoming. Throughout the last several weeks, the ECW General Manager
invited former and current ECW Superstars to compete in The ECW Homecoming. Sixteen Superstars competed one-on-one, and after this week’s
final two matches, eight will advance to The Homecoming Finale, featuring an Over-the-Top Rope Challenge on next week’s edition of ECW.
The winner of the Challenge will receive an ECW Title Match against Christian at Royal Rumble!
Zack Ryder rings in 2010. Just one week after sending the last remaining ECW Original, Tommy Dreamer, packing from the Land of the Extreme,
Zack Ryder told the WWE Universe it’s a new year, and Tommy Dreamer is “dead and gone.” “I stopped the heart of ECW. I destroyed the soul of
ECW,” the Long Islander boasted. “I forever changed the course of this show. As far as I’m concerned, ECW is now all about one man: Zack Ryder."
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Vladimir Kozlov. The intense rivalry between former Ruthless Roundtable cohorts Ezekiel Jackson and Vladimir Kozlov
came to a brutal culmination this week. The mutual animosity between these two Superstars was apparent throughout their physical singles
match, but in the end, Big Zeke proved to be the most dominant. After hitting The Moscow Mauler with a modified Yurinagi for a victory,
William Regal entered the ring with Jackson to further punish his former follower, calling him a disgrace. Is this the end of the rift
between these former Ruthless Roundtable associates? Will Kozlov seek retribution?
CM Punk defeated Mark Henry. SmackDown’s straightedge savior, CM Punk, who earlier in the night promised Christian he’d be challenging him to
become the Straightedge ECW Champion, met fellow former ECW Champion, Mark Henry. The World’s Strongest Man seemed to feed off Punk’s
kick-fueled attack with his offensive domination. But when Punk distracted the WWE official, his associate, Luke Gallows, kicked Henry in the
head. Then, Punk capitalized with two more kicks to the head, knocking Henry to the ground and pinning him for the win. Punk moves on in the
ECW Homecoming, but will he be the one to challenge Christian for the ECW Title at Royal Rumble?

HOMECOMING FINALE
Ezekiel Jackson is one step closer to achieving his goal of dominating ECW. Big Zeke won Tuesday night’s eight-man Over-The-Top-Rope Challenge
on the ECW Homecoming Finale, becoming the new No. 1 contender to the ECW Championship.
The Hurricane confronts Zack Ryder. Zack Ryder kicked off ECW on Syfy proclaiming he is the new “Heart and Soul of ECW.” The cocky Long
Islander said he has the looks, skills and the hottest Diva in WWE – Rosa Mendes. Ryder said he is ECW. But after a “Woo Woo Woo, you know
it,” he was interrupted by The Hurricane. The masked Superstar said the WWE Universe is sick of listening to Ryder, and after being slapped
by Rosa, The Hurricane forced a stunned Ryder from the ring.
Zack Ryder defeated The Hurricane. After their confrontation, ECW General Manager Tiffany emerged to order a match immediately between The
Hurricane and Ryder. ECW’s masked hero wasn’t able to quiet the Long Islander this time, as Ryder was victorious after a devastating Zack
Attack. How will The Hurricane seek retribution? Will Ryder continue to brag that he’s the new “Heart and Soul of ECW”?
Trent Barreta defeated Goldust. ECW newcomer Trent Barreta earned his first singles win this week, impressively defeating Goldust. Barreta’s
victory also brought a bit of revenge for his tag team partner, Caylen Croft, who was defeated by Goldust’s associate, Yoshi Tatsu, last week
on “WWE Superstars.” Will the rivalry continue between the video game playing buddies Barreta & Croft and the odd duo of Tatsu & Goldust?
Captain Charisma provided commentary at the ECW announce table as Jackson defeated former ECW Champions CM Punk, Matt Hardy and Kane, as well
as Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin, Yoshi Tatsu and Vance Archer. Jackson even single-handedly eliminated the three former ECW Titleholders
himself. But will Jackson prove to be as dominant a force on Jan. 31 when he faces ECW Champion Christian at Royal Rumble?
Ezekiel Jackson wins the ECW Homecoming Finale’s Over-the-Top-Rope Challenge. Ezekiel Jackson was crowned homecoming king in the Land of the
Extreme on Tuesday. The Guyanese Goliath bulldozed through his competition, eliminating seven Superstars to win the ECW Homecoming Finale’s
Over-the-Top-Rope Challenge. Big Zeke earned himself No. 1 contendership, and will go on to face ECW Champion Christian at Royal Rumble.

THE SANTINO MARELLA SHOW
Domination is the one thing on No. 1 contender Ezekiel Jackson’s mind, and with his mentor, William Regal, on his side, Big Zeke is ready to
do whatever it takes to become the new ECW Champion at Royal Rumble.
"The Santino Marella Show". “The Abraham Washington Show” sported an international flair, as Raw’s Santino Marella filled in as special guest
host of the critically-acclaimed talk show. After offering WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas an Italian lesson, ECW’s Moscow Mauler, Vladimir
Kozlov, joined the show. The former Ruthless Roundtable member wanted to clear up a few misconceptions the WWE Universe may have about him,
and admitted he was hanging around with the wrong crowd before. He also professed his love for the United States, as well as all it has to
offer, such as chili cheese fries and Hannah Montana.
Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft defeated Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu. The ongoing rivalry between ECW newcomers Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft and ECW’s odd
couple, Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu, intensified this week when these duos met in tag team action. In recent singles action, Barreta and Tatsu each
earned victories, but this week, it was the video game-playing team who stole a victory when Croft pinned the battle-tested veteran, Goldust,
giving them the upper hand for now.
Zack Ryder’s major announcement. Zack Ryder returned to ECW this week, still bragging about ending Tommy Dreamer’s career weeks ago, and
boasted about his recent win over The Hurricane. The cocky Long Island loudmouth announced to the WWE Universe that he is “the new heart and
soul superhero of ECW, Zack Ryder.” But after ECW ring announcer Savannah accidentally botched the exact wording of Ryder’s new self-given
title, his girlfriend, Rosa Mendes, took care of the situation, telling off Savannah in Spanish. But during the Divas’ scuffle, The Hurricane
appeared, attacking Ryder out of nowhere. Will The Hurricane and Ryder get a rematch in the ring? Or will another Superstar step up to try to
quiet the Long Island loudmouth?
ECW Champion Christian defeated William Regal via a disqualification. Captain Charisma earned his second win against The British Brawler in
just six days. But this week on ECW on Syfy, Christian defeated Regal by disqualification when the gargantuan No. 1 contender Ezekiel Jackson
became involved in the match. The ECW Champion never had a chance to have a victory celebration, as Regal and Jackson double-teamed him with a
devastating, brutal attack, leaving him helpless in the ring. With less than two weeks to Royal Rumble, Big Zeke is gaining the momentum he
needs to be victorious in the ECW Title match against Christian. But will the ever-resilient Captain Charisma bounce back and prove why he’s
held the ECW Title since July, as the longest-reigning champion in WWE? Or will the powerhouse Jackson continue his path of total domination
with William Regal at his side?

"WHO" ATTACKS BENJAMIN
Ezekiel Jackson & William Regal defeated ECW Champion Christian & Kane. After William Regal introduced the WWE Universe to the Superstar he
called the next ECW Champion – Ezekiel Jackson – the No. 1 contender warned Christian that he’s certain he’ll win the ECW Title at Sunday’s
Royal Rumble. Christian said he’s defended his ECW Championship against many different contenders, from All-American Americans to ECW
Originals, allowing him to adapt to facing anyone and everyone, and he looks forward to the challenge that awaits him at Royal Rumble.
But Tuesday night even when Christian teamed with former ECW Champion Kane, Captain Charisma once again fell short to the Guyanese Goliath.
With the help of Regal, Big Zeke squashed his Royal Rumble opponent, just as he has for the past several weeks. Is this a sign of things to
come this Sunday? Will Jackson continue his streak of domination and become the new ECW Champion? Or will Christian characteristically
prevail over what could be his biggest and strongest ECW Title Match opponent to date?
Vance "Who" Archer attacks Shelton Benjamin. While telling the WWE Universe how excited he is to have the opportunity to compete in Sunday’s Royal
Rumble, Shelton Benjamin was unexpectedly interrupted with an attack by Vance "Who" Archer. His rival knocked The Gold Standard to the ground,
stating, “Hopes and dreams are all Shelton has, because that … that’s reality.” Will Archer’s attack hinder Benjamin’s chances this Sunday?
Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust & The Hurricane defeated Trent Barreta, Caylen Croft & Zack Ryder. The eclectic threesome of Yoshi Tatsu, Goldust & The
Hurricane earned a victory over ECW newcomers Trent Baretta & Caylen Croft, and their Tuesday night tag team partner, Zack Ryder. Tatsu’s
electric, high-kick to Barreta’s head sealed his team’s fate. The win brings a bit of sweet retribution for Tatsu & Goldust, who lost to
their rivals, Barreta & Croft, last week. Also, The Hurricane once again quieted the Long Island Loudmouth, Ryder, who called himself
“The Heart and Soul Superhero of ECW” – a nickname the masked Superstar wasn’t too keen on. However, Ryder’s girlfriend, Rosa Mendes,
did plenty of shouting at her beau’s opponents during the match.

“The Abraham Washington Show” with ECW Champion Christian. Abraham Washington returned to ECW on Syfy this week with a special guest – ECW
Champion Christian. Captain Charisma – who now holds his title longer than any other Superstar or Diva in WWE – joined the
critically-acclaimed talk show to discuss his giant win over Ezekiel Jackson Sunday at Royal Rumble. But Christian’s celebration was cut
short by none other than ECW’s self-proclaimed “Heart and Soul Superhero of ECW,” Zack Ryder, and his girlfriend, Rosa Mendes. The Long
Island Loudmouth told Christian he isn’t the biggest newsmaker of the week, Gregory Helms is because of his drunken brawl and being
displayed on TMZ.
Vance Archer defeated Shelton Benjamin. Rivals Vance Archer and Shelton Benjamin finally met again in singles action this week on ECW.
Fresh off his appearance Sunday at Royal Rumble, Benjamin looked poised to finally gain retribution against his nemesis, Archer, who
brutally attacked him last week on ECW. But it was Archer who stole a win, as the WWE official didn’t see his legs leveraged on the ropes
while he pinned The Gold Standard. With the tension between Archer and Benjamin at an all-time high, the WWE Universe is left to wonder
who’ll win this battle. How will Benjamin fight back against his rival?
Yoshi Tatsu defeated Trent Barreta. For the second week in a row, Yoshi Tatsu sealed Trent Barreta’s fate with just one electric kick. With
his mentor and friend, Goldust, in his corner, the Japanese Superstar earned another victory over newcomer Barreta, whose tag team partner,
Caylen Croft, could only stand at ringside and witness Barreta argue the WWE official’s call before being shocked by Tatsu’s final kick.
Mr. McMahon addressed the future of ECW. In an historic moment, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon told the WWE Universe about his future plans for ECW.
In three weeks, ECW will end, but a brand new, innovative, never-before-seen program will premiere in the same Tuesday night timeslot.
McMahon said it’ll be “the next evolution of WWE; the next evolution of television history.”
Gregory Helms attacked. While interviewing Ezekiel Jackson about his loss to ECW Champion Christian at Royal Rumble, Gregory Helms was
tormented by Big Zeke and his associate, William Regal. Instead of answering Helms’ questions, the ruthless duo attacked the interviewer,
taunting him about his drunken brawl. Luckily for Helms, Christian emerged in his defense.
ECW Champion Christian vs Zack Ryder ended in a No Contest. After their explosive confrontation during “The Abraham Washington Show” earlier
in the evening, ECW Champion Christian met Zack Ryder in the main event. While many in the WWE Universe hoped to see this rivalry settled in
a singles non-title contest, the match ended without a clear winner. Christian came close to a victory after hitting Ryder with the
Killswitch. But William Regal and Ezekiel Jackson – the latter whom Captain Charisma defeated at Royal Rumble – interrupted the match,
attacking Christian. Outnumbered, the ECW Champion was savagely assaulted when Regal nailed him with a Running Knee Trembler and Jackson
tossed him into the steel stairs. How will Christian retaliate against Big Zeke and Regal’s attack?

NXT IS COMING
With the final episode of ECW only one week away, ECW General Manager Tiffany implored her talented roster of Divas and Superstars to go out
and impress the WWE Universe tonight — and that’s exactly what they did. With three excellent matches exemplifying the ECW style and two huge
bouts set for next Tuesday, the penultimate edition of ECW was certainly one to remember.
Yoshi Tatstu & Goldust defeated Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta. With a Unified Tag Team Title opportunity on the line, two of ECW’s finest
tandems brought everything they had to the ring on one of the Land of the Extreme’s final nights. While the video-game playing team of Caylen
Croft & Trent Barreta impressed, the young duo ultimately fell to the unique pairing of Yoshi Tatsu & Goldust. The Japanese Superstar & The
Bizzare One will now face Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz on next Tuesday’s ECW.
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Perry Wallace. After Ezekiel Jackson made short work of Perry Wallace with his devastating uranage, the massive
Superstar’s associate, William Regal, grabbed the microphone. The British Brawler then ran down Tiffany before demanding that the beautiful
boss grant Big Zeke an ECW Championship Match as her final act as General Manager.
Backstage, Christian personally accepted the challenge of Ezekiel Jackson and then upped the ante. Not
only will the ECW Championship be on the line next Tuesday, but the match will be contested under Extreme Rules!
Shelton Benjamin defeated Vance Archer in a No Disqualification, No Count-Out Match. For weeks, Shelton Benjamin has been put through hell by
the massive Vance Archer, but not once did The Gold Standard back down from the big man. After many grueling battles, the rivalry between
these two competitors finally came to a head on tonight’s ECW with each Superstar agreeing to battle in a No Disqualification, No
Count-Out brawl. As expected, the contest was particularly brutal with each man being pushed to their physical limit. But, in the end,
Shelton Benjamin pulled off the victory, making one of his final ECW memories a great one.

THE END OF WWE`S ECW
Fans bid an emotional, historic farewell to ECW from the Sprint Center Arena Tuesday night. But as WWE closes the door on the
Land of the Extreme, we’ll soon say hello to the new evolution of reality television with the debut of WWE NXT.
Unified Tag Team Champions The Miz & Big Show defeated Yoshi Tatsu & Goldust. After defeating Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft last week, Yoshi Tatsu
& Goldust had their hearts set on departing the Land of the Extreme with the Unified Tag Team Championships firmly around their waists. But
the duo of The Miz & Big Show was too tough and tricky for ECW’s odd couple, as Show-Miz stole a win to retain the Unified Tag Team Titles.
After Big Show sent Tatsu over the top rope, he punched Goldust in the ribs while the referee’s attention was diverted, assisting United
States Champion The Miz, who hit The Bizarre One with his Skull-Crushing Finale for the tag team victory.
Backstage, Zack Ryder tells Tiffany he should be in the final match. She says no. He says it`s extreme rules and that means he can get
involved and there is nothing she can do about it.
“The Abraham Washington Show”. WWE’s critically-acclaimed talk show host, Abraham Washington, saved his biggest guest for the final episode of
ECW – himself. But before Washington could brag too much about becoming a rich free agent in WWE, he was interrupted by several ECW Superstars
who had plenty to say about their futures in WWE. Shelton Benjamin, Vance Archer, Vladimir Kozlov and Caylen Croft & Trent Barreta joined
Washington and WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas in the ring. In true “Abraham Washington” fashion, the show descended into utter chaos. When The
Moscow Mauler offered his two cents in Russian, he was mocked by Archer, and Croft & Barreta, prompting Kozlov to attack them with the help
of his new comrade, Benjamin.
Ezekiel Jackson defeated ECW Champion Christian. It took Ezekiel Jackson months, but The Guyanese Goliath and his mentor, William Regal, finally
accomplished what they set out to achieve on ECW – total domination. In the final ECW match, Big Zeke conquered ECW Champion Christian under
Extreme Rules, becoming the last Superstar to ever hold the ECW Title. But during the most important match of Big Zeke’s career, several
ECW Superstars and Divas tried to stand in his way. A meddling Zack Ryder and his girlfriend, Rosa Mendes, wanted to interfere, as The Long
Island Loudmouth was jealous he didn’t earn another chance at the ECW Title. After Christian slammed Ryder onto a steel trash can, Rosa
slapped Christian in the face. Then ECW General Manager Tiffany became involved, spearing Rosa and shockingly tossing her to the mat. And as
always, longtime ECW Champion Christian fought Big Zeke with all of his heart and soul. Captain Charisma hit Regal with a Killswitch, but
lost the brutal Extreme Rules Match after The Guyanese Goliath tossed him through a table. In the end, no one could stop Jackson on his quest
for ECW domination, not even Christian. Now that the ECW Title is retired, the WWE Universe is left to wonder where Big Zeke will wreak havoc
next.
