INAUGURAL EPISODE
Eight NXT Rookies. Eight WWE Pros. One dream. Welcome to NXT! Throughout the coming weeks, eight NXT Rookies will try to prove they have the
personality, charisma, talent and strength to win a Raw Superstar contract while being mentored by WWE Superstars. But which Pro will
successfully pass on his knowledge and skills to the future of WWE?
The inaugural episode of NXT kicked off with quite a clash between United States and Unified Tag Team Champion The Miz and his NXT Rookie,
Daniel Bryan. Backstage before sending Bryan to the ring to introduce himself, The Miz warned his NXT Rookie to expect anything, and that if
he doesn’t show personality, he’d slap some into the “Internet darling.” Then, in the ring, Bryan poked fun at his mentor’s reality TV past,
and pointed out that he’s been honing his skills all over the world for the last 10 years. Naturally, an angry Miz interrupted Bryan, and
slapped his mentee, proving not all of the Pros and NXT Rookies will get along during season one of NXT.
Christian & Heath Slater defeated Carlito & Michael Tarver. Christian introduced the WWE Universe to his Rookie, Heath Slater, a star who is
ready to rock the WWE Universe. Slater proved to be a great tag team partner for Captain Charisma, assisting him by pulling Carlito out of the
ring, allowing Christian to capitalize and hit Michael Tarver with a Killswitch for the victory. Tarver, who is known as “Mr. 1.9 Seconds”
for his ability to quickly knockout his opponent, is being mentored by Carlito, who is sure the knowledge and skills he’ll pass on will make
Tarver become the next breakout WWE Superstar.
David Otunga defeated Darren Young. Rookie David “A-List” Otunga brought his A-game to the NXT premiere, picking up his first win in front of
the WWE Universe. Under the guidance of his WWE Pro, R-Truth, Harvard Law graduate Otunga defeated Darren Young, who had an ornery CM Punk,
Luke Gallows and Serena in his corner. The confident, charismatic and strong Otunga took just minutes to impressively defeat South Beach
party boy Young. But the WWE Universe is left to wonder how Young will fare in NXT when his Pro, Punk, is less than excited to mentor the
Rookie, that is, unless he’s ready to join the Straight Edge Society.
World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho defeated Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan was certainly put to the test during his first night in front of
the WWE Universe. The NXT Rookie faced the new World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho on the inaugural episode of NXT. Bryan took a nasty
bump to the kidney via the edge of the announce table after diving through the ropes towards Jericho and Jericho receiving Bryan and throwing
him into the announce table. With his Rookie, British bare-knuckle fighter Wade Barrett, in his corner, Jericho was victorious when Bryan
tapped out to the Walls of Jericho. But Bryan wowed the WWE Universe with an impressive offensive arsenal of skills and submission moves,
almost making Jericho tap out to a Heel Hook. But it’s unlikely Bryan has learned his incredible skills from his Pro, The Miz. In addition to
their explosive clash earlier in the night, The Miz attacked Bryan after his main event loss, calling him an embarrassment. But did The Miz
beat some respect into his NXT Rookie, or just fuel the intense fire already burning inside Bryan?

NO RESPECT ROOKIE
In the thrilling second edition of NXT, the stakes in this potentially life-altering competition came into view. At the end of the season, a
Rookie’s success or failure will be determined by votes from the WWE Pros. The catch? The Pros cannot vote for or against their own Rookies.
So these eight young contenders aren’t only competing to impress the WWE Universe with their talent and charisma, but the Pros they are
facing in the ring.
Darren Young defeated David Otunga. On last Tuesday’s debut edition of WWE NXT, Darren Young suffered a quick loss to the imposing and
confident David Otunga due in part to a lack of guidance from Young’s WWE Pro, CM Punk. This week, however, the South Beach party boy got a
helping hand from The Straight Edge Savior and his loyal followers, Serena & Luke Gallows. While the impressive Rookies battled evenly in the
early goings of the match, Young was given a window of opportunity after Punk grabbed Otunga’s leg. With the red carpet Rookie distracted, the
powerful Young slammed his opponent to the mat and scored his first win on WWE NXT. Frustrated with his loss, Otunga shoved his WWE Pro,
R-Truth, after the match.
Backstage, Matt Striker interviews David Otunga who fights with his Pro R-Truth.
Wade Barrett defeated Daniel Bryan. Still tending to his bruised ribs after last Tuesday’s epic encounter with World Heavyweight Champion
Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan was given a rude awakening by his WWE Pro, The Miz. While in the middle of a session with a WWE trainer, Bryan
was interrupted by the United States Champion who informed him that WWE Superstars have to compete even when they’re hurt and then sent him
out to face Jericho’s NXT Rookie, Wade Barrett. Ever the warrior, the talented Rookie stepped up to the challenge and attacked his larger
opponent with everything he had. But Bryan’s amazing tenacity wasn’t enough to overcome the severity of his injury or the 270-pound
bare-knuckle fighter standing in front of him. The massive Barrett focused on the wounded midsection of The Miz’s Rookie, repeatedly
drilling him into the mat before picking up the pin. To add to Bryan’s suffering, Chris Jericho entered the ring after the bout and put the
agonized competitor in the Walls of Jericho.
Matt Hardy & Justin Gabriel defeated William Regal & Skip Sheffield. William Regal and his Rookie, the self-proclaimed “cornfed meathead”
Skip Sheffield, haven’t exactly been seeing eye to eye. Claiming that his mentee has “the personality of an open grave,” Regal has said
working with the massive Texan has been the biggest challenge of his career. This disconnect between Rookie and Pro gave Matt Hardy and his
Rookie, Justin Gabriel, the advantage going into tonight’s tag bout. While Regal & Sheffield bickered, the exciting duo of Hardy & Gabriel
worked together like a seasoned team. With their opponents reeling, Hardy tagged in his Rookie, allowing the high-flying South African
sensation to nail The British Brawler with a 450 splash to pick up the win. This major victory marked the first time an NXT Rookie has
pinned a WWE Pro.
Backstage, Carlito spits apple in Heath`s face. Now that`s cool!

ROOKIE BEATS PRO
In just the third week of competition on NXT, several Rookies earned monumental victories. Despite some occasional clashes with their Pros,
each proved why he could be the next Superstar to join the Raw roster.
R-Truth & David Otunga defeated The Miz & Daniel Bryan. After an explosive, post-match brawl on last week’s NXT, R-Truth & his Rookie, David
Otunga, put their differences aside to earn a tag team win over The Miz & Daniel Bryan, another Pro & Rookie duo who aren’t exactly the best
of friends either. The Miz threatened Bryan with his career before the match, saying he’ll be sure he’s thrown off the show if he’s pinned.
But it was the United States and Unified Tag Team Champion The Miz who was pinned by Otunga, who upped his record to 2-1. With his team’s
loss, Bryan has yet to win a match on NXT, but this home state defeat is one Washington native Bryan solely blames on his Pro. During the
match, The Miz began to fight with Bryan, distracting the referee, allowing R-Truth to capitalize with a kick to The Miz, allowing Otunga to
pin him for the win. Plus, The Miz may not have been on his A-game after the previous night’s Raw when R-Truth and his WrestleMania tag team
partner, John Morrison, intentionally disqualified themselves in their match against Show-Miz after sending the “Cleveland Screamer” over the
top rope and punishing The World’s Largest Athlete.
Heath Slater talks of Carlito spitting apple into his face last week.
Backstage, Matt Striker interviews The Miz. Daniel Bryan enters and tells the Miz that he is the one who lost tonight.
Backstage, Matt Hardy and Justin Gabriel go at it verbally with William Regal and Wade Barrett.
Heath Slater defeated Carlito Colon. Heath Slater sent an important message to Carlito Tuesday night, a week after the Superstar spit apple
in the Rookie’s face on WWE NXT: He is not backing down. With his Pro, Christian, at ringside, Slater defeated Carlito just minutes after the
apple-spitting Pro said he should be happy he humiliated him like that and should be begging him to do it again. Carlito’s Rookie, Michael
Tarver, could only watch in shock as Carlito was rolled up by the “one-man rock band” Slater. With this victory, Slater earns the impressive
distinction of becoming the first Rookie to defeat a Pro in singles action on NXT.
A look at Darren Young.
C.M. Punk encourages Darren Young. CM Punk and his Straight Edge Society associates persuaded Rookie Darren Young to become a part of their
group. The Pro pointed out that Young’s win last week came with the Society’s support, and that he should be more open to new ideas, because
with a little help and guidance, Straight Edge can make anyone a winner.
Justin Gabriel defeated Wade Barrett. Justin Gabriel wowed the WWE Universe for the second week in a row, earning an impressive victory over
fellow Rookie, Wade Barrett, on NXT. Under the guidance of his Pro, Matt Hardy, Gabriel capitalized on his tag team win over Skip Sheffield
last week and continued his forward momentum, pinning Barrett after hitting the 450 Splash. Gabriel ups his perfect record to 2-0, surely
making the NXT Pros take notice. But after the victory, Barrett’s Pro, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, entered the ring and hit
Gabriel with a Codebreaker and locked him into the Walls of Jericho, preying on the Rookie’s back, which Barrett targeted throughout their
match.

POOR LISTENER
Rookies and Pros continued to clash during week four of competition on NXT. Several Rookie standouts continued their upward climb, impressing
the WWE Universe with their in-ring abilities, while some fell once again, possibly diminishing their chances at becoming the next Raw
Superstar.
Matt Striker announced that in two weeks, the WWE Pros will evaluate the NXT Rookies. Which Superstar hopefuls will make the grade?
C.M. Punk & Darren Young defeated Matt Hardy & Justin Gabriel. While C.M. Punk hasn’t completely convinced his Rookie, Darren Young, to drop
his South Beach party boy habits and convert to the Straight Edge lifestyle, he has guided him to victory more than once. On NXT this week,
Young earned a tag team victory when he pinned Pro Matt Hardy after Punk hit him with the Go To Sleep when the official wasn't watching. With
the Straight Edge Superstar on his side, Young has been unstoppable, and has increased his record to 2-1. But will Young change his life and
join the Straight Edge Society? That may not happen this week, as after Young’s win, he was attacked by SES member Luke Gallows, who hit the
Gallows Pole on Young, as well as Hardy and his Rookie, Justin Gabriel, as a sign of solidarity as Punk and Serena smugly looked on. As for
Gabriel, his once-perfect record dropped to 2-1.
A video segment featuring David Otunga is shown.
The Great Khali defeated Daniel Bryan. While WWE Pro The Miz was not on NXT, he took the opportunity to arrange a special match for his
mentee. Rookie Daniel Bryan was put to an immense test, this time by his largest opponent yet, The Great Khali. The Miz should be pleased
to know The Punjabi Giant defeated the Rookie, who is now 0-4. However, Bryan showed an impressive effort against his huge opponent, even
bringing him to his knees. Then, The Miz's fellow Unified Tag Team Champion, Big Show, appeared and chokeslammed Bryan. Will the valiant
Bryan be able to rebound from another loss on NXT?
Heath Slater defeated Michael Tarver. The one-man rock band continued his hot streak on NXT. With his Pro, Christian, watching from the
locker room area alongside Michael Tarver’s Pro, Carlito, Rookie Heath Slater defeated Tarver. But after the match, a frustrated and angry
Tarver leveled Slater, sending a strong message to him and the WWE Universe – despite a 0-2 record, Tarver isn’t backing down. Slater’s
confidence had been the rise and his impressive record jumped to 3-0. But after this attack, will Slater continue to rock the WWE Universe?
How will Christian, who seems to be his perfect teacher, guide him on his quest to become a Superstar? And will Tarver finally find his
groove and earn a victory under the watch of the devious Carlito?
Backstage, William Regal tries to give advice to Skip Sheffield. Sheffield is a poor listener and keeps interrupting Regal.
Wade Barrett defeated Skip Sheffield. Rookie Skip Sheffield looked for his first WWE NXT victory, but without the expert guidance of his
ring veteran Pro, William Regal, he came up short against an increasingly dominant Rookie, Wade Barrett. The Cornfed Meathead tried to talk
strategy with The British Brawler before his match, but their meeting was filled with bickering – something that arguably weighs on the
performance of Sheffield, whose record fell to 0-2. Will Sheffield charm his standoffish Pro – and the WWE Universe – before it’s too late?
On the other hand, Barrett has found his perfect mentor in World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. Their abrasive, cocky personalities
click, and Jericho seems to have the utmost confidence in the brawling abilities of his brash, money-hungry Rookie. Under the World
Heavyweight Champion’s supervision, Barrett has increased his record to 2-1, and shows no signs of slowing down.

ROOKIES ONLY
With WrestleMania five days away and the Pros’ Poll in a week, all eight Rookies fought to win the attention of the Pros during week five of NXT.
Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel defeated Skip Sheffield & Wade Barrett. The impressive Heath Slater continued his hot streak this week, upping
his perfect record to 4-0 after a tag team victory with fellow Rookie Justin Gabriel. Pros Christian and William Regal looked on from ringside
during a very physical match between Slater & Gabriel against Rookies Skip Sheffield & Wade Barrett. While Sheffield was more aggressive than
usual, he failed to impress his Pro, Regal. When Barrett distracted Slater, the bareknuckle brawler ended up kicking his own partner in the
chest, allowing the One-man Rock Band to get the pin. As Christian celebrated with his Rookie and Gabriel, whose record is now 3-1, Regal was
disgusted by Sheffield’s loss and new record of 0-3.
A look at Daniel Bryan.
A look at Darren Young.
Darren Young & David Otunga defeated Michael Tarver & Daniel Bryan. With the Straight Edge Society in their corner led by Pro CM Punk, Rookies
Darren Young & David Otunga both upped their records to 3-1 on NXT. Thanks to a distraction by Luke Gallows, Rookie Daniel Bryan was left
alone in the ring when his partner, Rookie Michael Tarver, didn’t tag into the match, allowing “A-List” Otunga to capitalize on the situation
and pin Bryan for the win. Earlier, Bryan showed off his extraordinary arsenal of submission moves on party boy Young, but with the loss,
Bryan’s record fell to 0-5. Disappointed Pro Carlito watched as the record of his stunned Rookie, Tarver, dropped to 0-3.
The biggest NXT episode to date will air next week! In the Pros’ Poll, the Pros will reveal the standings and the WWE Universe will learn
which Rookie is one step closer to becoming the next big Raw Superstar. The Pros will vote for their favorite Rookies, but they cannot vote
for their own. They’ll judge the Rookies based on four factors: win/loss record, strength of opponents, work ethic and the “it” factor.

DANIEL BRYAN NUMBER ONE
In the most important night of NXT thus far, the Pros’ Poll votes were cast. Despite his winless record, thanks to competing against the
likes of the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho and The Great Khali, Daniel Bryan is No. 1 in the Rookie Rankings! But in an Eight
Rookie Battle Royal of NXT Rookies, it was David Otunga who prevailed, securing his spot as special guest host of Raw Monday night.
Pros’ Poll reveals Rookie Rankings. After five weeks of competition, the NXT Rookies have reached the first milestone in their careers with
the Pros’ Poll. The eight Superstar Pros judged the Rookies on four criteria: win/loss records, the strength of their opponents, dedication
and work ethic, and the “it” factor. (A Pro could not vote for his own Rookie.) NXT Host Matt Striker revealed the Pro’s Poll Rookie Rankings
and the results are:
1. Daniel Bryan
2. Wade Barrett
3. Justin Gabriel
4. Heath Slater
5. David Otunga
6. Skip Sheffield
7. Michael Tarver
8. Darren Young
The Pros will vote again in six weeks, and on that night, the NXT Rookie in last place will be eliminated from the competition. From then on,
one Rookie will be eliminated each week until there’s a final four! Only one Rookie will be crowned WWE’s next breakout star and will receive
a championship match on pay-per-view versus the champion of his choice.
R-Truth, Matt Hardy, CM Punk & Wade Barrett defeated Christian, Carlito, William Regal & The Miz. The WWE Pros from Raw and SmackDown battled
each other in an Eight Man Tag Team Match on NXT this week. But the SmackDown Pros were down a Superstar, as World Heavyweight Champion Chris
Jericho was unable to compete after being hit with Edge’s devastating Spear off the announce table and into the barricade at WrestleMania.
Jericho’s Rookie, Wade Barrett, stepped in, and proved to be plenty of competition for the Pros. After an assist by Jericho that the WWE
official didn’t see, Barrett pinned Christian, upping his record to 3-2.
David Otunga won an Eight Rookie Battle Royal. After more than a month of competition on NXT, all of the Rookies were simultaneously put to
the test in an Eight Rookie Battle Royal, with the winner earning a special honor – guest host duties of Raw. David “A-List” Otunga, who was
voted into the No. 5 spot in the Pros’ Poll, was victorious after finally eliminating Justin Gabriel. Otunga heads to Raw with a 4-1 record
and will surely use his star power to wow the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros Monday night. “You can expect this Monday to have the ‘A-List’
stamp all over it. Everything is going to be top-notch,” Otunga said after celebrating with his Pro, R-Truth.

KEG CARRYING CHALLENGE
The competition intensified to new levels during week seven of NXT. After last week’s Pros’ Poll results were revealed, each NXT Rookie
fought even harder to prove he should become WWE’s next breakout star.
Heath Slater wins a Keg Carrying Challenge. The NXT Rookies took another giant step in their journeys on NXT during week seven of
competition. After discussing the results of last week’s Pros’ Poll with host Matt Striker, the NXT Rookies faced off in a Keg Carrying
Challenge. NXT Rookie Heath Slater finished first, carrying the more than 160-pound keg around the outside of the ring in an impressive time
of 12 seconds! “Chicago I’ve been telling you since I’ve been here. Health Slater is going to blow your mind in NXT baby!” the "one-man rock
band" told the WWE.com. His prize? A main event match against Kane! NXT Rookie Skip Sheffield finished in second in 12.4 seconds, and later
told Striker he thought the Keg Challenge was fixed. Finally, NXT Rookie Daniel Bryan, who is ranked No. 1 in both the WWE Pros’ Poll and the
WWE.com Poll, finished last in 24.9 seconds.
The NXT Rookies will continue to be subjected to challenges that will test the physical and mental skills it takes to be the next breakout
WWE Superstar. In five weeks, the second Pros’ Poll will be revealed and the NXT Rookie in last place will be eliminated!
Darren Young defeated Daniel Bryan. NXT Rookies Darren Young and Daniel Bryan met in one-on-one action this week. Young, who ranked No. 8 in
last week’s Pros’ Poll, looked ready to prove his worth to the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe with a win over No. 1-ranked Daniel Bryan. While
Bryan once again tapped into his impressive arsenal of submission moves, it was Young who got the pin, upping his record to 4-2. Bryan’s
winless streak continued, dropping his record to 0-7.
Justin Gabriel defeated Michael Tarver. NXT Rookie Michael Tarver’s woes continued on WWE NXT. After being disqualified from the Keg Challenge
when he dropped the 160-pound-plus keg, Tarver lost to NXT Rookie Justin Gabriel in singles action. Gabriel, who ranked No. 2 in this week’s
WWE.com poll, hit Tarver with a breathtaking 450 Splash for the win, increasing his record to 4-2. Tarver’s winless record fell to 0-5.
Wade Barrett defeated David “A-List” Otunga. One night after being the special guest host of Monday Night Raw, NXT Rookie David “A-List”
Otunga lost a singles match to Wade Barrett, who hit the “A-Lister” with his devastating finisher. Bareknuckle brawler, Barrett, upped his
record to 4-3, while Otunga’s dropped to 4-2.
Kane defeated Heath Slater. NXT Rookie Heath Slater impressed the WWE Universe earlier in the evening, winning the Keg Carrying Challenge,
receiving a main event match against Kane. The Big Red Machine defeated all eight NXT Rookies by disqualification last week on SmackDown, and
despite a strong fight from Slater, Kane bested the one-man rock band on NXT. A confident Slater fearlessly fought The Big Red Monster, but
ultimately fell to the dominant Kane’s vicious chokeslam. Slater’s record fell to 4-2.

TALK TO TALK CHALLENGE
With the next Pros’ Poll just four weeks away, the NXT Rookies continued their mission to impress the WWE Pros and WWE Universe in the hopes
of becoming WWE’s breakout star. Several NXT Rookies shined during week eight of competition, and one even kept his hair.
NXT Rookies competed in a Talk the Talk Challenge. In just four weeks, the second WWE Pros’ Poll will reveal the Rookie Rankings, and the
NXT Rookie who is ranked last will be eliminated. To avoid that fate, the NXT Rookies must win matches and continue to make positive
impressions on the WWE Pros in various challenges. Last week, NXT Rookie Heath Slater showed off his physical strength and power by winning
the Keg Carrying Challenge. This week, NXT Rookie Wade Barrett wowed the WWE Universe in his home country with his speaking skills. The NXT
Rookies displayed their charisma and ability to verbalize their feelings by connecting with the WWE Universe. The Rookies were given random
topics, from cereal to passion to rainbows, and had 30 seconds to expand upon them with originality and creativity. Barrett faced fellow NXT
Rookie Skip Sheffield in the final round, and won over the WWE Universe in London’s O2 Arena with his speech about the “winds of change” in
WWE. Since NXT began, the NXT Rookies walked to the ring to the entrance themes of their respective WWE Pros. As the winner of the Talk the
Talk Challenge, Barrett earned the opportunity to create his own entrance music!
Backstage, Darren Young apologizes to Punk for his actions on SmackDown, and pleaded with him not to cut his hair. While Punk told Young he
thought he showed guts, Straight Edge Society disciple Gallows took offense. Punk ordered his NXT Rookie to face the menacing Gallows with
his hair on the line. When it mattered most, Young delivered, impressing Punk and the WWE Universe by pinning Gallows. Afterward, Punk raised
Young’s hand in victory as a stunned Gallows looked on.
Christian defeated NXT Rookie Wade Barrett. Thanks in part to a little assistance from his NXT Rookie, Heath Slater, WWE Pro Christian
finally got retribution against NXT Rookie Wade Barrett. Two weeks ago, Barrett’s WWE Pro, Chris Jericho, distracted Christian, allowing
Barrett to pin Captain Charisma in the WWE NXT All-Pro Eight-Man Tag Team Match. But this week in a WWE Pro vs. NXT Rookie Match, the
bareknuckle brawler was the one outsmarted. After Jericho distracted the WWE official, Barrett tried to take advantage of the situation,
but Slater grabbed Barrett’s ankle, allowing Christian to capitalize and hit the Killswitch for the win. With his loss, Barrett’s record
fell to 4-4.
Backstage, The Miz gives a pep talk to his NXT Rookie Daniel Bryan – who he referred to as the “Susan Boyle of WWE”.
William Regal defeated NXT Rookie Daniel Bryan. After a negative reception from the WWE Universe in the Talk the Talk Challenge, NXT Rookie
Daniel Bryan’s night didn’t improve. Despite a strong offensive effort by Bryan, WWE Pro and England’s own William Regal defeated him with a
Running Knee Trembler, causing Bryan’s win/loss record to sink to 0-8. After Bryan’s loss, a still-frustrated Miz, who watched the match from
ringside, attacked Regal and then hit his NXT Rookie with a Skull Crushing Finale.
NXT Rookie Darren Young defeated Luke Gallows. In one of the biggest matches of his NXT Rookie career, Darren Young defeated Luke Gallows,
not only proving his worth to his WWE Pro, CM Punk, but also saving his hair. The South Beach party boy proved he could defeat a WWE Superstar
on his own, without compromising his own wild personality and style. With the victory, Young’s record improved to 5-2.

ROCK `EM SOCK `EM CHALLENGE
In the biggest upset in NXT history, NXT Rookie Heath Slater defeated six-time World Champion Chris Jericho! Also during week nine of
competition, NXT Rookie Skip Sheffield won the Rock ’em Sock ’em Rookies Challenge, earning an exclusive WWE.com feature.
Justin Gabriel defeated David “A-List” Otunga. In his first singles match against fellow NXT Rookie, David “A-List” Otunga, Justin Gabriel
earned a victory, thanks in part to Otunga’s WWE Pro, R-Truth. Otunga reached for R-Truth, looking for help, but his WWE Pro refused, allowing
Gabriel to roll up the “A-List” NXT Rookie for the win. Gabriel celebrated his win with his WWE Pro, Matt Hardy, while Otunga seethed over
R-Truth’s reluctance to interfere. With his win, Gabriel’s record increased to 5-2, while Otunga’s fell to 4-3.
Darren Young defeated Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver. Tired of being overlooked by the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe, NXT Rookie Michael
Tarver proclaimed himself a “bulldog off the leash” and offered an open challenge to anyone in the WWE NXT locker room. This came after an
angry Tarver refused to compete in the weekly NXT Rookie Challenge, and “dance on a balloon like a little monkey for your entertainment.”
Hoping to impress his WWE Pro, William Regal, who was stuck in Europe due to the Icelandic volcano eruption, NXT Rookie Skip Sheffield
accepted the dare. Then, WWE Pro CM Punk offered his NXT Rookie, Darren Young, who earned a huge victory over Luke Gallows last week.
Clearly still troubled by his loss to Young, the Straight Edge Society’s Luke Gallows tried to interfere in the Triple Threat Match. His
efforts to sabotage Young backfired, as the South Beach party boy pinned Tarver. With the victory, Young’s record increased to 6-2 – the
highest of any NXT Rookie after week nine, while Sheffield’s dropped to 0-5 and Tarver’s fell to 0-6.
Skip Sheffield won the Rock ’Em Sock ’Em Challenge. Last week, NXT Rookie Wade Barrett wowed the WWE Universe with his speaking
skills in the Talk the Talk Challenge. This week, things got more physical as the NXT Rookies squared off against each other in the
Rock ’Em Sock ’Em Challenge. After a three-round competition, Skip Sheffield was declared the winner after knocking fellow NXT Rookie,
Darren Young, off his pedestal. “The Cornfed Meathead,” who finished second in the two previous Challenges, made a huge impression on the WWE
Pros and the WWE Universe, and earned a special feature on WWE.com, taking over the entire website!
Heath Slater defeated Chris Jericho. NXT Rookie Heath Slater earned the biggest victory of his NXT Rookie career Tuesday night, besting
six-time World Champion Chris Jericho! And to the “one-man rock band’s” credit, he did it without the presence of his WWE Pro, Christian,
who was still stranded in Europe due to the Icelandic volcano eruption. Slater showed no fear against his WWE Pro opponent, reversing
Jericho’s attempts at the Walls of Jericho, and rolling him up for the pin for the monumental victory. Jericho and his NXT Rookie, Wade
Barrett, were left stunned after the match, as Jericho argued the call with the WWE official: “There’s no way! I’m the best in the world at
what I do!” With the win, Slater left a strong impact on the WWE Pros just three weeks before the next Pros’ Poll will reveal the Rookie
Rankings. Slater, who is ranked No. 4, upped his record to 5-2.
In just three weeks, the second Pros’ Poll will be revealed, and the NXT Rookie ranked last will be eliminated from the competition!
Therefore, the NXT Rookies must not only survive the intensifying pressure, but also thrive on it to become WWE’s newest breakout Superstar.
The winner will earn a title match against the champion of his choice, live on pay-per-view.

The intensity of competition increased this week, as one winless NXT Rookie finally earned a much-needed victory, while another called out

NXT Rookies competed in the Seal the Deal Challenge. This week’s NXT Rookies Challenge tested the competitors’ salesmanship skills. Each NXT
Rookie entered the crowd at the GIANT Center and had 60 seconds each to sell as many WWE programs as possible to the WWE Universe. While some
NXT Rookies, such as Wade Barrett, Michael Tarver and Daniel Bryan, refused to compete, the others gave it their all. David “A-List” Otunga
enlisted the help of two young members of the WWE Universe to help him earn $315. For his efforts, Otunga earned the chance to face the WWE
Pro of his choice on next week’s show. His pick? None other than his own WWE Pro, R-Truth, who he’s had a rocky relationship with lately.
“I think it’s time the student beats the teacher,” Otunga said. “Oh it’s going to happen, you can count on that!”
Wade Barrett & Chris Jericho defeated Heath Slater & Christian. NXT Rookie Heath Slater had been riding high after his victory over WWE Pro
Chris Jericho on last week’s NXT. But on this week’s Raw, the six-time World Champion silenced the “one-man rock band” with a Codebreaker and
a victory over his WWE Pro, Christian. Jericho’s momentum continued on NXT as he earned a tag team win for himself and his NXT Rookie, Wade
Barrett, by hitting the Codebreaker on Slater for the second night in a row. While Slater will always be able to boast he has a win over
Jericho, this week his record moved to 5-3, while Barrett’s increased to 5-4.
Backstage, Carlito has Tarver carry his bags.
Darren Young defeated Michael Tarver. Darren Young’s hot streak continued with a win over fellow NXT Rookie Michael Tarver this week.
The South Beach party boy was shockingly assisted by recent rival and Straight Edge Society member, Luke Gallows, who took out Tarver while
the WWE Official was distracted by SES’s Serena, allowing Young to get the pin. While they may have helped Young, the SES didn’t offer him
any high-fives after the match. Young’s record improved to 7-2, arguably making him Tuesday night’s most-improved NXT Rookie, while Tarver’s
record fell to 0-7.
Backstage, David Otunga is unhappy that R-Truth didn`t help him last week.
Skip Sheffield defeated Daniel Bryan. Riding the momentum he picked up last week by winning the Rookies Challenge, NXT Rookie Skip Sheffield
finally earned his first victory on NXT. The Cornfed Meathead faced fellow NXT Rookie Daniel Bryan when Bryan’s WWE Pro, The Miz, declared he
was unable to compete due to the injuries he suffered from Big Show’s knockout punch the night before on Raw. Sheffield countered Bryan’s
impressive offensive efforts and submission holds with a dominating defense, quickly unleashing his Over the Shoulder Boulder Holder finisher
on the much-smaller Bryan. Finally, Sheffield’s WWE Pro, William Regal, gave him an approving glare after the match, while The Miz remained
frustrated with his NXT Rookie, Bryan. With the victory, Sheffield’s record moved to 1-5, while Bryan remained winless and is now 0-9.
In just two weeks, the second Pros’ Poll will be revealed, and the NXT Rookie ranked last will be eliminated from the competition!
Therefore, the NXT Rookies must not only survive the intensifying pressure, but also thrive on it to become WWE’s newest breakout Superstar.
The winner will earn a title match against the champion of his choice, live on pay-per-view.

OBSTACLE COURSE CHALLENGE
With next week’s critical Pros’ Poll just days away, the NXT Rookies gave it their all to impress the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe. While
one NXT Rookie finally earned himself a victory, another remained winless, and a third shockingly earned immunity!
Michael Tarver defeated Daniel Bryan. The remaining winless NXT Rookies, Daniel Bryan and Michael Tarver, met for the first time in singles
action Tuesday, deciding who’d enter the second Pros’ Poll without a victory. Tarver finally earned his first victory over Bryan, who was
noticeably ailing from the beating he took by Batista the previous night on Raw. Bryan suffered through three monstrous Batista Bombs when his
WWE Pro, The Miz, cited medical reasons for being unable to compete, sending his NXT Rookie in his place to fight The Animal. Bryan’s loss was
capped off by a backstabber by Tarver’s WWE Pro, Carlito, as The Miz looked on approvingly. Tarver’s win upped his record to 1-7, while
Bryan’s fell to 0-10. Considering Tarver has refused to compete in the Rookie Challenges, was his victory too little too late or was it
enough to impress the WWE Pros just one week before the second Pros’ Poll? Will Bryan continue to hold the No. 1 spot with the WWE Pros
with such a dismal record?
C.M. Punk confronts Darren Young. During last week’s Seal the Deal Challenge, NXT Rookie Darren Young tried to convince the WWE Universe to
purchase WWE merchandise so he’d be able to face his own WWE Pro, CM Punk. But Young’s bold words weren’t what Punk and the Straight Edge
Society wanted to hear.
R-Truth defeated David Otunga. NXT Rookie David Otunga’s wish was granted after winning last week’s Seal the Deal Challenge. He earned the
opportunity to face the WWE Pro of his choice, and picked his own mentor – R-Truth. While these two have clashed throughout the last 10 weeks
of competition, their rivalry climaxed with R-Truth’s victory over Otunga on Tuesday’s WWE NXT. R-Truth defeated his NXT Rookie with a
corkscrew back elbow, but Otunga had to compete mere minutes after running the grueling Obstacle Course Challenge. Otunga’s record fell to
4-4. Is this the end of the contention between Otunga and his WWE Pro? Will Otunga’s choice of opponent affect his standing in next week’s
crucial Pros’ Poll?
Justin Gabriel won the Obstacle Course Challenge. One part of being a WWE Superstar is overcoming obstacles, and NXT Rookie Justin Gabriel
did just that Tuesday. He completed the Obstacle Course Challenge in the fastest time – 1 minute, 29 seconds – earning the best prize yet –
an Immunity Pass. That means next week when the second Pros’ Poll is revealed, Gabriel cannot be eliminated, no matter the circumstances!
When Gabriel learned he was the winner, he called out fellow NXT Rookie, David Otunga, telling him that his ego outweighs his talent!
The NXT Rookies offer their Final Words. Hoping to leave a lasting impression on the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe, the NXT Rookies had 30
seconds each to express why he should survive next week’s elimination after the second Pros’ Poll. While most of the NXT Rookies defended
themselves, Daniel Bryan pointed out he’s winless and said he should leave. Michael Tarver did the same, but told his fellow competitors,
“I’m the most dangerous Rookie on NXT,” as the WWE Universe booed. Many of the NXT Rookies agreed it should be Tarver who leaves, but Darren
Young called out each of his opponents and singled out Wade Barrett, ending WWE NXT with a brawl.
The NXT Rookies have competed against each other in matches, and have had their minds and bodies tested through special challenges. Next
week on WWE NXT, the second Pros’ Poll will be revealed, and the NXT Rookie ranked in eighth place – in last – will be eliminated from the
competition! The NXT Rookies have worked hard to not only survive the intensifying pressure, but also thrive on it to become WWE’s newest
breakout Superstar. The winner will earn a title match against the champion of his choice, live on pay-per-view. But next week, one NXT
Rookie’s dream will be over. Who will be the first eliminated?

ELIMINATION NIGHT ONE
In the biggest night of NXT history, three NXT Rookies were shockingly eliminated! With only five NXT Rookies left, who will impress the WWE
Pros and become WWE’s next Superstar and earn a championship pay-per-view match against a WWE Superstar?
Michael Tarver and Daniel Bryan eliminated. NXT kicked off with the two surprising eliminations of NXT Rookies Michael Tarver and Daniel
Bryan. The week before, both NXT Rookies told the WWE Universe that they deserved to be eliminated, and their wishes were granted by WWE
Management, regardless of Bryan’s monumental victory the night before on Raw.
Wade Barrett defeated Heath Slater. Wade Barrett hoped to settle a score with a fellow NXT Rookie from weeks ago when in one of the biggest
upsets in NXT history, Heath Slater defeated Barrett’s WWE Pro, six-time World Champion Chris Jericho. While Jericho wasn’t at ringside,
Barrett got that revenge, upping his record to 6-4, while Slater’s falls to 5-4.
Backstage, Matt Striker interviews Michael Tarver who says he thought the ruling was fair, he didn’t think the contest was.
Skip Sheffield defeated Darren Young. NXT Rookie Skip Sheffield continued his upward climb on Tuesday nights. Since winning the
Rock ’em Sock ’em Rookies Challenge, The Cornfed Meathead has been on a winning streak. This week, the dominant Sheffield earned a victory
over the NXT Rookie with the most wins, Darren Young. Sheffield’s record improves to 2-5, while Young’s drops to 7-3.
Backstage, Matt Striker interviews Daniel Bryan who says that Daniel Bryan only exists in WWE and vaguely referenced the name Bryan Danielson.
David Otunga defeated Justin Gabriel. After winning last week’s Obstacle Course Challenge, Justin Gabriel called out fellow NXT Rookie,
David Otunga, stating that his ego outweighs his talent, moments after Otunga lost to his own WWE Pro, R-Truth. But when these two met in
singles action, Otunga proved Gabriel wrong. NXT’s Otunga dominated and pinned his opponent, moving his record up to 5-4, while Gabriel’s
dropped to 5-3.
Ringside, Matt Striker asked each Rookie who they thought should be eliminated and the overwhelming majority said David Otunga. Striker then
announced the WWE Pros’ Poll results, which were as follows:
1. Wade Barrett
2. David Otunga
3. Justin Gabriel
4. Heath Slater
5. Darren Young
6. Skip Sheffield
Skip Sheffield eliminated. After the main event, the WWE Pros’ Poll results were announced, and one more NXT Rookie was eliminated. While
most of the six remaining NXT Rookies hoped David Otunga would be eliminated, it was Skip Sheffield who received the lowest ranking from the
WWE Pros and was the third hopeful to leave the competition. The Cornfed Meathead blamed himself for perhaps not following the guidance of
his WWE Pro, William Regal, throughout the first 11 weeks of competition.
There will be another Pros’ Poll next week and another NXT Rookie will be eliminated! Which NXT Rookies have impressed the WWE Pros the most

ELIMINATION NIGHT TWO
After the results of the latest crucial Pros’ Poll, the final four NXT Rookies have been determined. Either Wade Barrett, David Otunga,
Heath Slater or Justin Gabriel will win NXT and be the next breakout WWE Superstar!
Before casting their critical Pros’ Poll votes, the WWE Pros discussed the NXT Rookies. The WWE Pros
told the WWE Universe what it takes to be WWE’s next breakout Superstar who will earn a future championship match on a WWE pay-per-view.
Wade Barrett defeated Darren Young. With his encouraging WWE Pro, Chris Jericho, at ringside, Wade Barrett dominated fellow NXT Rookie,
Darren Young. The British bareknuckle brawler heeded Jericho’s advice and defeated Young with his devastating finisher, while The South
Beach Party Boy received no support from his WWE Pro, CM Punk, who watched the match from the stage. Barrett’s record increased to 7-4,
while Young’s dropped to the same – 7-4.
Eliminated NXT Rookies spoke out. NXT Rookies Michael Tarver and Daniel Bryan came before the WWE Universe to speak their minds one week
after they were eliminated by WWE Management. Tarver questioned the identity of WWE Management, calling them “easily-intimidated pencil
pushers” and said he was trying to get noticed by being “revolutionary” when he refused to participate in competitions. Daniel Bryan
defiantly defended his time on NXT, stating he was a “self-made man” who wasn’t “invented by the WWE machine.” “WWE needs to pick guys who
are the best people for this job and the best person for this job is me,” Bryan said. The former independent star called out the WWE Pros and
said they know just how good he is. He also called out NXT announcer Michael Cole, who had been berating Daniel Bryan all season. A very
confident Daniel Bryan called Cole “a parrot with Vince McMahon in his ear telling him what to say” then approached the announce table with
an intense determination. Daniel Bryan unabashedly attacked Cole with a slap across the face, referred to him as “a poor man’s replacement
for J.R.,” then knocked Cole to the ground and began stomping him until WWE Officials and host Matt Striker pulled Daniel Bryan off of Cole.
Justin Gabriel defeated Heath Slater. After coming off losses the previous week, NXT Rookies Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater faced off in
singles action, hoping to make one last impression on the WWE Pros before the Pros’ Poll. With his WWE Pro, Matt Hardy, at ringside cheering
him on, Gabriel hit a perfectly-timed 450 Splash on The One-Man Rock Band for the win in the highly-competitive, offense-heavy match. After
the match, the NXT Rookies and WWE Pros Hardy and Christian shook hands in a sign of good sportsmanship. Gabriel’s record was upped to 6-3,
while Slater’s dropped to 5-5.
Skip Sheffield spoke out about the Pros’ Poll. Eliminated as a result of last week’s Pros’ Poll, NXT Rookie Skip Sheffield told the WWE
Universe why he thought he was sent packing. The Cornfed Meathead was convinced the WWE Pros were intimidated by his size, physique and
intensity, and they took out the “biggest, baddest threat,” just like in the game of Survivor.
Darren Young was eliminated. The latest Pros’ Poll results were revealed, and NXT Rookie Darren Young was the fourth competitor eliminated
from NXT. The South Beach Party Boy said he’d hoped elimination day would never come, and thanked the WWE Universe in attendance and at
home for their support. He said the difference between he and the other NXT Rookies is that he has respect for the WWE Pros. “I’m not going to
come up here and holler and cry. I just want to say thank you. NXT is over for me,” Young said. “This is not the last time you will see
Darren Young, you can believe that.”
The Pros’ Poll results were as follows:
1. Wade Barrett
2. David Otunga
3. Heath Slater
4. Justin Gabriel
5. Darren Young

ELIMINATION NIGHT THREE
The results of the semi-finals week Pros’ Poll were revealed and the top three NXT Rookies have been determined. Either Wade Barrett,
David Otunga or Justin Gabriel will win NXT during next week’s season finale!
The NXT Rookies told the WWE Pros who should be eliminated. The final four NXT Rookies tried to make a last-minute impact on the impending
Pros’ Poll during semi-finals week. In an effort to influence the WWE Pros – minus a noticeably missing CM Punk, whose head was shaved bald
at Sunday’s Over the Limit – each NXT Rookie told them who they thought should be eliminated and why.
R-Truth & David Otunga defeated Christian & Heath Slater. WWE Pro R-Truth brought his newly-acquired United States Championship to NXT
Tuesday night where he teamed with his NXT Rookie, David Otunga. The pair – who hasn’t always seen eye-to-eye in the past – put their
differences aside to earn a win over WWE Pro Christian & NXT Rookie Heath Slater. Otunga was certainly playing Slater’s tune, as
Otunga reversed the “One-man Rock Band’s” roll up and pinned him for the win. With this semi-finals victory, Otunga’s record increased to
6-4, while Slater’s fell to 5-6.
Michael Cole asked Daniel Bryan to apologize. On Monday Night Raw, announcer Michael Cole gave eliminated NXT Rookie Daniel Bryan an
ultimatum – apologize for the previous week’s attack, or he’ll sue him. On NXT, while surrounded by personal security guards, a traumatized
Cole called out Daniel Bryan and offered him the chance to publicly apologize or else he’ll take him to court on the advice of his team of
attorneys. Daniel Bryan did shake Cole’s hand and began to say he’s sorry, but his words soon twisted. “I’m sorry. … I’m sorry that you are
by far the worst announcer in WWE history,” Daniel Bryan said with conviction. Cole told Daniel Bryan that he tapped out of the NXT
competition because he is a loser with no heart. Then, the emotional announcer slapped Bryan and ran from the ring behind his security
guards. Daniel Bryan chased down Cole and a brawl erupted. After Daniel Bryan was pulled off a distraught Cole, he retreated up the ramp
where he was further taunted by his WWE Pro, The Miz. Daniel Bryan reacted by attacking The Miz and another brawl erupted as Cole yelled
from ringside that Daniel Bryan is a “maniac.”
Justin Gabriel defeated Wade Barrett. After Michael Cole’s explosive confrontation with Daniel Bryan, the announcer was replaced with NXT
host Matt Striker at the announce table, who joined Josh Mathews as Justin Gabriel took on fellow NXT Rookie Wade Barrett. Hoping to make an
impact on the WWE Pros before the final Pros’ Poll, Gabriel earned an impressive victory over Barrett after hitting the bareknuckle British
brawler with an astonishing 450 Splash. Gabriel upped his record to 7-3, while Barrett’s dropped to 7-5.
The Pros’ Poll was revealed and Heath Slater is eliminated. The WWE Pros’ Poll revealed the NXT Rookie Rankings for the semi-finals, and this
week, Heath Slater was eliminated. While Slater’s WWE Pro, Christian, said he thought the cards were stacked against Slater from the start,
he predicts Slater still has a big future ahead of him. On the other hand, The Miz said the “One-man Rock Band” didn’t have enough passion
and heart. “You never showed us the ‘wow.’ You never let loose. You never gave us your all,” The Miz said. “Sometimes you were good.
Sometimes you were off. You can never be off in WWE.” Before departing, Slater pointed out that he was the first NXT Rookie to win a
challenge and beat a WWE Pro. He also defeated six-time World Champion Chris Jericho. Slater promised this isn’t the last the WWE Universe
has seen of him. “Pros, you might have pulled the plug on the ‘One-man Rock Band,’ but ladies and gentlemen, get ready for the encore because
I’m about to blow your mind!”
The semi-finals week Pros’ Poll results were as follows:
1. Wade Barrett
2. David Otunga
3. Justin Gabriel
4. Heath Slater

SEASON ONE FINALE
NXT Rookie Wade Barrett has been crowned the season one winner of WWE NXT! The British bareknuckle brawler has earned a future pay-per-view

The return of the eliminated NXT Rookies. The five eliminated NXT Rookies returned for the season finale of NXT Tuesday night. Michael
Tarver, Daniel Bryan, Skip Sheffield, Darren Young and Heath Slater looked on as NXT host Matt Striker explained that the WWE Pros will cast
their votes in two Pros’ Polls to determine which NXT Rookie will be the competition winner. Who will become WWE’s next breakout Superstar –
Justin Gabriel, David Otunga or Wade Barrett?
Wade Barrett defeated Justin Gabriel and David Otunga. For their last in-ring attempt to impress the WWE Pros, the final three NXT Rookies
faced off in a Triple Threat Match as their WWE Pros watched from ringside. When Justin Gabriel landed an extraordinary 450 Splash on
David Otunga, Wade Barrett capitalized and pulled Gabriel from the ring and pinned Otunga himself, eliminating him from the match. After an
intense, physical battle, Gabriel hit another perfectly-timed 450 Splash, but Barrett quickly countered and pinned Gabriel for the victory.
Justin Gabriel is eliminated. After the five eliminated NXT Rookies told the WWE Universe who they thought should win NXT, the first Pros'
Poll of the night was revealed. Despite his impressive showing during the Triple Threat Match, NXT Rookie Justin Gabriel was eliminated from
the competition as the result of the Pros’ Poll. David Otunga and Wade Barrett are the final two NXT Rookies!

SEASON 2 PREMIERE
Season two of NXT began with a bang Tuesday night. After the shocking events on Monday Night Raw, this season’s WWE Pros made it clear they
won’t tolerate any misbehavior by the new NXT Rookies.
The season two NXT Rookies and WWE Pros are introduced. The WWE Universe was introduced to the eight new NXT Rookies and their WWE Pros on
the season two premiere of NXT. Tensions arose quickly, though, when the eight NXT Rookies entered the ring and their competitive sides came
out. In season two of NXT, only 50 percent of the evaluation lies with the WWE Pros. The WWE Universe’s votes will account for the other 50
percent, as YOU will help choose WWE’s next breakout star. Also, season two will only be 12 weeks long. In just three weeks, the results of
the first WWE Pros’ Poll will be revealed, and the WWE Universe will vote in the first WWE.com Poll. Then, in just six weeks, the first NXT
Rookie will be eliminated! Who will go on to be crowned the winner of season two of NXT and earn a pay-per-view match against the champion of
his choice?
John Morrison & Eli Cottonwood defeated Zack Ryder & Titus O’Neil. Two NXT Rookies paired with their WWE Pros to kick off season two’s
competition. NXT Rookie and former NFL player Titus O’Neil showed off his athleticism in the ring when paired with his WWE Pro, Zack Ryder,
while NXT Rookie and former NBA player Eli Cottonwood revealed his intense side and earned his first win when paired with his WWE Pro,
John Morrison. The Monday Night Delight welcomed O’Neil to NXT with Starship Pain, securing his tag team victory. Morrison told the WWE
Universe that he thought Cottonwood held his own in his first NXT match, but WWE Pro The Miz wasn’t impressed: “I’m not entertained. You
failed.” Cottonwood starts NXT with a 1-0 record, while O’Neil’s record begins at 0-1.
A look at Alex Riley.
M.V.P. & Percy Watson defeated Cody Rhodes & Husky Harris. WWE Pro MVP paired with fellow Miami resident, NXT Rookie Percy Watson,” to take on WWE
Pro Cody Rhodes and third-generation NXT Rookie Husky Harris. While the near-300-pounder Harris impressed with his athleticism in the ring,
Rhodes seemed frustrated with his NXT Rookie. MVP and Watson’s chemistry was natural, and the flamboyant “Showtime” earned a win after
pinning Harris. Afterward, MVP declared that “Percy Watson is ready for prime time.” Watson begins the season with a 1-0 record, while Harris
starts at 0-1.
A look at Michael Mcgillicutty, son of Curt Hennig.
A look at the NXT season one Rookies' Raw invasion. The WWE Pros, the NXT Rookies and the WWE Universe took another look at the carnage
caused the previous night by the season one NXT Rookies. The first NXT graduating class made a surprise attack on Raw, destroying anything
and everything in their path, including WWE Champion John Cena, WWE employees, announcers and the entire ring. NXT host Matt Striker offered
the season two NXT Rookies a chance to offer their thoughts on the attack. Kaval called the season one NXT Rookies’ actions “unbelievable,”
but he said that’s the way to make a statement in WWE. Lucky Cannon said they acted “cowardly,” but Eli Cottonwood believed Cena deserved the
shocking assault. Then, Striker officially “welcomed” the season two NXT Rookies to WWE. Just as WWE Pro and “Co-Women’s Champion” Layla
looked like she’d offer Kaval a hug, she instead slapped her NXT Rookie, prompting a brawl. The WWE Pros tossed their protégés from the ring,
as WWE Pro Mark Henry delivered a devastating World’s Strongest Slam to NXT Rookie Titus O’Neil. The WWE Pros sent a very loud and clear
message – if any NXT Rookies wish to follow in the footsteps of the season one graduates, it will NOT happen in the season two NXT ring under
their watch.

The WWE Pros offered the NXT Rookies a chance to rekindle their relationships after last week’s surprising initiation. Several NXT Rookies
finally saw in-ring action, leaving lasting impressions on the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe as the next set of polls are just two weeks away.
MVP discusses the NXT Rookies’ initiation. Tensions were high during the second week of season two of NXT after last week’s surprising
initiation in which the season two WWE Pros sent a loud and clear message to their NXT Rookies by tossing them out of the ring to quell any
possible rebellion. This week, WWE Pro MVP explained to the NXT Rookies that they’re paying for the transgressions of their season one
predecessors, who have been wreaking havoc on Raw for the last two weeks. The Ballin’ Superstar said the season two NXT Rookies must work
hard, pay their dues and respect and cherish the opportunity given to them on NXT and the WWE Pros will rightfully teach them. In a sign
of solidarity, the WWE Pros and the NXT Rookies shook hands before week two’s matches began.
A look at Kaval.
Alex Riley defeated Kaval. The brash and confident Alex Riley saw his first in-ring action against fellow NXT Rookie, the fearless and
skilled Kaval. Despite a strong effort by Kaval, whose WWE Pros – “co-Women’s Champions” Lay-Cool – offered their amusing commentary during
the match, the self-proclaimed “rare breed” Riley pinned his competitor. Riley admirably pulled off the win without the presence of his WWE
Pro, The Miz, who was in Los Angeles celebrating his United States Championship victory. Several WWE Pros offered their first impressions of
Riley and Kaval. Lay-Cool applauded Kaval’s first match and promised it won’t be long before he’ll be “flawless” under their guidance. John
Morrison said both NXT Rookies did a very good job of making an impression. And instead of offering his opinions on the NXT Rookies in the
match, Zack Ryder must have been busy checking out WWE NXT’s new ring announcer, Jamie Keyes: “That new ring announcer chick, she’s pretty
hot. Call me,” The Long Island Loudmouth said.
A look at Eli Cottonwood
A look at Husky Harris.
Kofi Kingston & Michael McGillicutty defeated Mark Henry & Lucky Cannon. Third-generation competitor NXT Rookie Michael McGillicutty has a
lot of lineage to live up to. As the grandson of WWE Legend Larry “The Axe” Hennig and son of former Intercontinental Champion Mr. Perfect,
McGillicutty must quickly make an impact on the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe – an accomplishment he achieved during week two of competition.
He kicked off his first match by boldly tagging himself in to face the daunting Mark Henry. Then, with the help of his WWE Pro,
Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, McGillicutty earned victory when he pinned the competitive Lucky Cannon. McGillicutty left a strong
first impression, as his WWE Pro, Kingston, called him a “man on a mission” who “took a step in the right direction.” Despite their loss,
Henry said his NXT Rookie, Cannon, “has a lot of potential.” But not all of the WWE Pros agreed. Cody Rhodes berated Cannon, calling him a
loser. “You’re all style and no substance,” Rhodes said. Then, Henry challenged Rhodes to face Cannon one-on-one. A cocky Rhodes accepted the
match for next week, then shockingly took a cheap shot at NXT announcer Matt Striker, knocking him off the stage!
The NXT Rookies must make a strong impression on the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe. The first Pros’ Poll and WWE Universe Poll on WWE.com are
just two weeks away, and the first elimination is only five weeks away. The WWE Pros and the WWE Universe will split the vote 50/50 to

The Miz & Alex Riley defeated M.V.P. & Percy Watson. Thanks in part to the return of his WWE Pro, The Miz, this week, NXT Rookie Alex Riley
continued his hot streak on NXT. As the WWE Pros looked on, the energetic NXT Rookie Percy Watson joined his WWE Pro, MVP, in the tag team
match, and dominated The Miz, almost earning the win. But the United States Champion turned the momentum in his favor and hit a Skull
Crushing Finale on Watson for the win. With his tag team victory, Riley’s record moved up to 2-0, while Watson’s record fell to 1-1.
A look at Titus O`Neil.
Michael McGillicutty defeated Titus O’Neil. Michael McGillicutty added a second win to his undefeated streak with a victory over fellow NXT
Rookie, Titus O’Neil. With his WWE Pro, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, in his corner, the third-generation competitor pinned former
footballer O’Neil, who also had his WWE Pro, Zack Ryder, at ringside. It was surely another emotional win for McGillicutty, who told the WWE
Universe he called his mother – whose maiden name was McGillicutty – after his first win on NXT last week. McGillicutty’s record increased to
2-0, while O’Neil remained winless with an 0-2 record.
Eli Cottonwood defeated Kaval. With a clear size advantage, the 7-footer, Eli Cottonwood, defeated fellow NXT Rookie, Kaval, who stands
significantly shorter at just 5 feet 8 inches. The quick and nimble 174-pound Kaval put up a noble fight against the 313-pound Cottonwood,
as his WWE Pros, Women’s Champion Layla and her bestie, Michelle McCool, looked on. But Cottonwood simply dominated his much smaller opponent.
WWE Pro John Morrison congratulated his undefeated protégé, Cottonwood, after the match, while Layla and Michelle presented Kaval with a
personalized pink “Property of Lay-Cool” shirt. With his win, Cottonwood upped his record to 2-0, while Kaval remained winless at 0-2.
A look at Lucky Cannon.
Cody Rhodes defeated Lucky Cannon in a Five-Minute Challenge. While berating Lucky Cannon at the end of last week’s NXT, WWE Pro Cody Rhodes
told the NXT Rookie he’d be lucky to last five minutes with him. So this week, the WWE Pro put a determined Cannon to the test in a
Five-Minute Challenge, meaning he didn’t have to defeat Rhodes, but merely last five minutes in the ring with him. But Lucky’s luck ran out
before the five minutes were up, as the former Tag Team Champion dominated the match and defeated him in just 3:58 with a Cross Rhodes as the
WWE Pros looked on.
The NXT Rookies offer their closing arguments. Before the first NXT Poll next week, the NXT Rookies pleaded their cases to the WWE Pros and
the WWE Universe, each explaining why he should be WWE’s Next Breakout Star. But NXT Rookie Husky Harris said he wouldn’t need 45 seconds to
plead his case. The third-generation competitor took a page out of the book of his WWE Pro, Cody Rhodes, and shockingly attacked NXT host
Matt Striker, a move that garnered congratulations from Rhodes.

ELIMINATION NIGHT ONE
Tonight on NXT, one of the eight Rookies' road came to an end, as the night of the first Pros' Poll also signaled season two's first surprise
elimination.
Keg Carry Challenge. As the WWE Universe voted in the first live NXT Poll, the eight NXT Rookies competed in their first
Challenge – The Keg Carry. Hoping to impress the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe one last time before the NXT Poll, each NXT Rookie had to pick
up and carry a full keg around the ring and across the finish line, without the keg touching the ground. Lucky Cannon started the Challenge,
rounding the ring in 12.7 seconds. Luck was all this Rookie needed, as Husky Harris, Michael McGillicutty, Kaval and Titus O'Neil all were
disqualified. With the impressive win, Cannon earned himself immunity from tonight's elimination.
A look at Percy Watson.
In this season’s second WWE Pro vs NXT Rookie Match, M.V.P. defeated Husky Harris. With his energetic NXT Rookie, “Showtime” Percy Watson, in
his corner, MVP dominated Harris, who confidently referred to himself as “an Army tank with a Ferrari engine” this week on WWE.com. But
Harris’ rocky and oftentimes unsupportive relationship with his WWE Pro, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, hasn’t helped his fight on NXT. Harris’
record fell to 0-2 with his loss to MVP. After the match, as MVP put out his hand as a sign of respect for the Rookie, Harris motioned to
The Ballin' Superstar that he was "this close" to winning, and angrily left the ring with his WWE Pro.
Kaval, Lucky Cannon & Michael McGillicutty defeated Alex Riley, Eli Cottonwood & Titus O’Neil. In their last match before the WWE Pros voted in
the first NXT Poll, six of the NXT Rookies met in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. Determined to finally impress the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros
with a win, Kaval tapped into his vast arsenal of offense to earn a victory for himself and fellow NXT Rookies Lucky Cannon and Michael
McGillicutty when he pinned Alex Riley, hitting the impressive Warrior's Way.
After this Six-Man Tag Team Match, the participants’ records stand at: Kaval: 1-2, Cannon: 1-2, McGillicutty: 3-0, Alex Riley: 2-1,
Eli Cottonwood: 2-1, Titus O’Neil: 0-3.
The NXT Poll results were revealed. The WWE Universe and the WWE Pros votes were combined and the results have been tabulated for first NXT
Poll. Kaval is ranked No. 1, while Titus O’Neil came in last, ranking at No. 8! With the ranking, O’Neil has been eliminated from the NXT
competition. O'Neil left the WWE Universe with some inspirational advice, "Make life what you can - take each and every opportunity you can to
make it a win!" The combined results of the NXT Poll are as follows:
1. Kaval, 2. Percy Watson, 3. Michael McGillicutty, 4. Alex Riley, 5. Lucky Cannon, 6. Eli Cottonwood, 7. Husky Harris, 8. Titus O'Neil

TALK THE TALK CHALLENGE
With the second NXT Poll just three weeks away, and the chaos-causing Nexus returning to NXT next week, the NXT Rookies continued their quest
to make an impression on the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros.
Talk the Talk Challenge. “Showtime” Percy Watson was the first NXT Rookie to take the microphone in the Talk the Talk Challenge, and left the
strongest impression on the WWE Universe in Atlanta’s Philips’ Arena, who was judging the contest. Under his topic of “glasses,” Watson told
the WWE Universe about his vision and spoke about the importance of being able “to see what you want out of life.” “Showtime” received the
most cheers, earning his own one-night-only talk show on next week’s NXT!
Michael McGillicutty defeated Percy Watson. Hoping to further impress the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros, No. 3 ranked Michael McGillicutty
earned a win over fellow NXT Rookie, Percy Watson, who is ranked No. 2. With his WWE Pro, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, cheering
him on from his corner, third-generation competitor McGillicutty kept on his path to perfection, defeating the always-entertaining Watson,
who just won the Talk the Talk Challenge. With this win, McGillicutty upped his perfect record to 4-0, while WWE Universe-pleasing Watson’s
dropped to 1-2.
The Miz defeated Kaval. United States Champion and WWE Pro The Miz took on No. 1 ranked NXT Rookie Kaval in an intense match on NXT. Kaval
impressed with his strong offensive effort, showing off his many martial arts skills. But ultimately it was The Miz who taught the NXT Rookie
a lesson, pinning him after a hard-fought match and the Skull-Crushing Finale. With his loss this week, Kaval’s record fell to 1-3.
Husky Harris & Cody Rhodes defeated Lucky Cannon & Mark Henry. Knowing he must start making a greater impact on Tuesday nights, No. 7 ranked
NXT Rookie Husky Harris finally earned a win, thanks to a tag team victory with “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, his WWE Pro. After a Cross Rhodes, the
conceited Superstar pinned No. 5 ranked Lucky Cannon, the NXT Rookie he defeated a few weeks ago in a Five-Minute Challenge, as Cannon’s WWE
Pro, Mark Henry, could only watch from his corner of the ring. With his tag team win, Harris’ record increased to 1-2, while Cannon’s fell to
1-3.

NEXUS COMES TO NXT
The Nexus returned to their roots Tuesday night, wreaking havoc on NXT. Wade Barrett led the pack of former NXT Rookies to victory in a
20-Man Over-the-Top Rope Battle Royal over the season two class and their WWE Pros, leaving an indelible mark on NXT.
The Nexus returned to NXT. Wade Barrett led The Nexus back to NXT, just one night after they defeated John Cena in a 6-on-1 Handicap Match
and attacked several Superstars on Raw. The former season one NXT Rookies were met with plenty of hesitation, but Barrett wished the season
two class all of the best, and urged the WWE Pros not to instigate any trouble.
Mark Henry & Lucky Cannon defeated The Miz & Alex Riley. Still reeling from the aftermath of his No Contest decision on Raw against United
States Champion The Miz, Mark Henry sought retribution against his fellow WWE Pro in a tag team match with their NXT Rookies. The World’s
Strongest Man had his sights set on destroying The Miz, just five days before they’ll meet in the Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match on
pay-per-view Sunday. With the help of NXT Rookie Lucky Cannon, Henry earned the tag team victory, pinning Riley after a devastating World’s
Strongest Slam. Afterward, The Miz backed up the ramp as Henry took out the trash on Riley, dumping a full garbage can on the bully of a
Rookie, just as The Miz did to Henry the previous night. With his tag team win, Cannon’s record increased to 2-3, while Riley’s fell to 2-2.
The “'Showtime' Percy Watson Show” came to NXT. It’s “Showtime”! Thanks to his win in last week’s Talk the Talk Rookie Challenge, NXT Rookie
“Showtime” Percy Watson earned the chance to host his own talk show on NXT. The always-entertaining Watson invited MVP as his special guest
and thanked him for being such a great WWE Pro. Determined to make an impact two weeks before the next elimination, “Showtime” also invited
his fellow season two NXT Rookies to the ring. The WWE Pros soon followed, prompting a confrontation. Host Matt Striker declared the standoff
to be settled in the ring with an Over-the-Top Rope Battle Royal. Feeling a bit left out, the Nexus interrupted, hoping to get in on the
action, and Striker declared a 20-Man Over-the-Top Rope Battle Royal to take place immediately!
The Nexus won the 20-Man Over-the-Top Rope Battle Royal. The Nexus has been sending shockwaves throughout Raw since banding together under
the guidance of NXT season one winner, Wade Barrett. Now, the former NXT Rookies have made their presence felt on season two of NXT, winning
a 20-Man Over-the-Top Rope Battle Royal against the current NXT Rookies and WWE Pros. The Nexus worked together as a perfect unit, using their
strength in numbers to rid the ring of all of the current NXT Rookies. Then, they systematically eliminated the remaining WWE Pros – John
Morrison, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston and Cody Rhodes – after United States Champion The Miz cowardly took himself out of the
match. After the Battle Royal, The Nexus continued their assault on the WWE Pros, leaving a strong message for the WWE Universe. Barrett said
the Nexus returned to prove they could make a difference in WWE, regardless if they were labeled NXT Rookies in season one. “One thing’s for
certain: You’re either Nexus or you’re against us,” Barrett warned.
In two weeks the second NXT Rookie will be eliminated from the competition. Who will impress the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros the most in
the hopes of becoming WWE’s next breakout star?

OBSTACLE COURSE CHALLENGE
With the new NXT Poll opening tomorrow at noon ET on WWE.com, the final seven NXT Rookies looked to capture the attention and leave a lasting
impression on the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe during week seven of competition.
“MVP’s VIP Lounge” on NXT. WWE Pro MVP invited his NXT Rookie, “Showtime” Percy Watson, to a special WWE NXT edition of “MVP’s VIP Lounge.”
“Showtime” apologized for his questionable actions on his own talk show the previous week, and cleared the air with MVP. But the “Lounge” was
interrupted by NXT host Matt Striker, who asked the duo to explain why the No. 2 ranked “Showtime” should be No. 1 in the NXT Poll. Then,
Striker revealed MVP & Watson’s opponents in the WWE Pro & NXT Rookie Tag Team Match: Cody Rhodes & Husky Harris.
Cody Rhodes & Husky Harris defeated MVP & “Showtime” Percy Watson. In one of the biggest weeks of competition, No. 7 ranked NXT Rookie Husky
Harris joined his WWE Pro, Cody Rhodes, in a WWE Pro & NXT Rookie Tag Team Match. “The Army tank with the Ferrari engine” made an impact at a
critical time, hitting all 295 pounds of his finisher on MVP for the win. But did Harris impress the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe enough to
move up in the NXT Poll? Harris’ record increased to 2-2, while “Showtime” Percy Watson’s fell to 1-3.
Lucky Cannon defeated Alex Riley. NXT Rookie Lucky Cannon had to fight his own battle Tuesday night, as his WWE Pro, Mark Henry, wasn’t at
NXT due to injuries sustained on Raw. Cannon fell to the overly-confident NXT Rookie, Alex Riley, in singles action. But Cannon’s night got
worse after the loss when he was attacked by Riley’s WWE Pro, The Miz, with the Money in the Bank briefcase. The United States Champion nailed
Cannon into the briefcase with the Skull Crushing Finale, just as he did the previous night to WWE Champion Sheamus. With his loss, Cannon’s
record dropped to 2-4, while Riley’s increased to 3-2.
Michael McGillicutty won the NXT Rookie Challenge: The Obstacle Course. Hoping to impress the WWE Universe one last time before the NXT Poll,
the NXT Rookies competed in the Obstacle Course Challenge. Michael McGillicutty set the time to beat – 26.7 seconds – a feat no other NXT
Rookie could accomplish. McGillicutty, who already holds a perfect record at 4-0, also has immunity during next week’s elimination!

ELIMINATION NIGHT TWO
The NXT Rookies grabbed the Open Mic. The final seven NXT Rookies had one minute each to say whatever was on their minds, aside from why they
shouldn’t be eliminated. Each NXT Rookie sounded off one more time before the WWE Pros cast their votes in the NXT Poll. Who left a lasting
impression before tonight’s elimination?
Percy Watson defeated Zack Ryder. It’s “Showtime!” NXT Rookie Percy Watson earned a big win over a WWE Pro less than an hour before the
results of the NXT Poll would be revealed. With his WWE Pro, MVP, cheering him on from the ring apron, Watson pinned Zack Ryder, becoming
the first NXT Rookie to beat a WWE Pro in singles competition. “Showtime’s” record improved to 2-3 with his victory over Long Island Iced Z.
Michael McGillicutty defeated Eli Cottonwood. Michael McGillicutty kept his record perfect with a victory over fellow NXT Rookie, Eli
Cottonwood. McGillicutty, who won the NXT Rookies’ Obstacle Course Challenge the previous week, earning himself immunity from elimination,
pinned the mustache-obsessed Cottonwood, who was disqualified during last week’s competition. McGillicutty’s untarnished record stood at 5-0,
while the 7-footer Cottonwood’s fell to 2-2.
Husky Harris defeated Kaval. Hoping to make a last-minute impact, and a move upward in the NXT Poll, a confident Husky Harris defeated fellow
NXT Rookie, Kaval. Earlier, Harris had a heated confrontation with Kaval, calling him “small fry” and referring to his WWE Pros, Lay-Cool, as
his girlfriends. A confident Harris carried momentum into the ring, and during the match after he accidentally knocked Lay-Cool off the ring
apron, capitalized on a distracted Kaval, pinning him in the last match before the WWE Pros voted in the NXT Poll. Harris upped his record to
3-2, while Kaval’s fell to 1-4.
Eli Cottonwood was eliminated. The results of the NXT Poll were revealed, and after the votes of the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros were
combined, Eli Cottonwood was eliminated. Meanwhile, the immune Michael McGillicutty, who still boasts a perfect record, ousted Kaval for the
No. 1 spot.
The results of the NXT Poll were as follows:
1. Michael McGillicutty
2. Kaval
3. Alex Riley
4. Percy Watson
5. Lucky Cannon
6. Husky Harris
7. Eli Cottonwood
After his elimination, an emotionally-charged Cottonwood attacked Harris and the other NXT Rookies. He shockingly shoved his WWE Pro,
John Morrison, while walking up the ramp. When the final six NXT Rookies had a chance to tell the WWE Universe about becoming WWE’s next
breakout star, Cottonwood returned, causing a brawl to erupt at the close of NXT.

KISSING CONTEST
With the NXT Poll less than 24 hours away, the NXT Rookies left the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros with a lasting impression.
Some made an impact with their in-ring skills, while others were commended for their kissing abilities!
Lucky Cannon wins the NXT Rookie Challenge. The final six puckered up for an exciting, new NXT Rookie Challenge Tuesday night – a kissing
contest. WWE Pros Lay-Cool wanted to see which NXT Rookie was the best kisser, though the competitors – to their chagrin – weren’t kissing
the “co-Women’s Champions.” Instead, Laredo’s not-so-“Flawless” 1993 Homecoming Queen, Margarita, a fat ugly chick with open herpes sores all
over her mouth and face, was the judge, and despite a strong effort
by Alex Riley, she chose Lucky Cannon as the winner. Cannon didn’t earn a special prize for winning the kissing contest, though he undoubtedly
made an impression – albeit positive or negative – on the WWE Universe and WWE Pros. Michael McGillicutty`s licking Margarita`s herpes didn`t pay off.
Husky Harris defeated Kaval. Husky Harris continued to bulldoze through his competition on NXT, defeating fellow NXT Rookie, Kaval, for the
second time in as many weeks. The “Army tank with the Ferrari engine” lived up to his nickname, dominating a normally quick Kaval, then
pinning him after a thunderous running senton. No. 6 ranked Harris’ proud WWE Pro, Cody Rhodes, congratulated his NXT Rookie following the
match. Harris’ hot streak brought his record up to 4-2, while No. 2 ranked Kaval fell to the bottom of the pack in terms of win-loss records
at 1-5.
Michael McGillicutty defeated Lucky Cannon. Lucky Cannon and Michael McGillicutty – two NXT Rookies having scores to settle with The Miz –
competed for the chance to face the WWE Pro. Recently, the United States Champion brutally threw Cannon into the Money in the Bank briefcase
with the Skull Crushing Finale, and called McGillicutty a “mediocre” NXT Rookie. Yet it was McGillicutty who maintained his perfect record,
quickly defeating Cannon with the McGillicutter for the opportunity to face The Miz in the main event. The No. 1 ranked McGillicutty improved
his already flawless record to 6-0, while No. 5 ranked Cannon wasn’t so lucky, moving to 2-5.
Alex Riley defeated “Showtime” Percy Watson. In WWE’s recent NXT Rookie Confessionals, “Showtime” Percy Watson admitted the NXT Rookie he
just can’t get along with is Alex Riley. Hoping to teach the Varsity Villain a lesson about respect, the always-entertaining Watson put up a
strong fight. But it was the increasingly impressive Riley who scored the win after hitting “Showtime” with You’re Dismissed. No. 3 ranked
Riley’s record moved up to 3-2, while No. 4 ranked Watson’s dropped to 2-4.
The Miz defeated Michael McGillicutty. On a mission to prove he’s anything but a “mediocre” NXT Rookie, Michael McGillicutty faced WWE Pro The
Miz in singles action. It was the United States Champion who dominated, however, showing no remorse or mercy toward the No. 1 ranked NXT
Rookie. Despite a resurgence by McGillicutty toward the end of the match, it was The Miz who emerged victorious, hitting the NXT Rookie with
the Skull Crushing Finale. No longer perfect, McGillicutty’s record dropped to 6-1.

Power of the Punch Challenge. Throughout season two, the NXT Rookies have been tested on their physical, verbal and mental skills. In the
latest NXT Rookie Challenge – the Power of the Punch – the final six competitors’ punching power was sized up. Each NXT Rookie had one punch
at the boxing machine, and the competitor with the highest score – Alex Riley – won the Challenge. As the winner, the Varsity Villain gets the
prestige and spotlight of appearing on Raw next week!
Percy Watson, Kaval & Lucky Cannon defeated Husky Harris, Alex Riley & Michael McGillicutty. The final six NXT Rookies faced off
in a Tag Team Rematch of their bout on the previous night’s Raw. While Husky Harris earned yet another win against Kaval on Raw, he wasn’t so
lucky on NXT this time. Kaval earned a win for his team after pinning Michael McGillicutty. But was this tag team victory enough for the
winners to impress the WWE Pros and secure their safety in this week’s NXT Poll?
U.S. Champion The Miz defeated John Morrison. The topic of the week around the WWE locker room seems to be the unsteadiness of Team
WWE before their 7-on-7 Tag Team Elimination Match against The Nexus this Sunday at SummerSlam. United States Champion The Miz boasted to
fellow WWE Pro, John Morrison, that John Cena and Bret “Hit Man” Hart practically begged him to join Team WWE on Raw. But The Shaman of Sexy
told Mr. Money in the Bank he didn’t want his former tag team partner to join, and challenged him to a match on WWE NXT. Once again, The Miz
proved his awesomeness, defeating Team WWE’s Morrison with a devastating Skull-Crushing Finale just five days before SummerSlam. Will The Miz
join Team WWE and make an impact on the 7-on-7 Elimination Match this Sunday on pay-per-view? Or will Morrison and his teammates fight their
own battle against The Nexus?
Lucky Cannon is eliminated. With excitement at an all time high, the votes from the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros were combined, and the
results of the latest NXT Poll were revealed. With a No. 6 ranking, Lucky Cannon was the latest NXT Rookie eliminated from the competition.
The NXT Poll results were as follows:

ELIMINATION NIGHT FOUR
In the most exciting and shocking week of season two competition on NXT, a pair of NXT Rookies’ dreams were shattered. Just three NXT Rookies
remain on the road to discovering WWE’s next breakout star!
NXT Rookies Open Mic, Percy Watson eliminated. In a special, live double elimination night of NXT, the final five competitors had one last
chance to plead their cases to the WWE Pros during the NXT Rookies Open Mic. While some of the WWE Pros were traveling in Asia, they were
able to cast their absentee ballots in the NXT Poll to help determine who is one step closer to becoming WWE’s next breakout star. After the
votes of the WWE Universe were combined with those of the WWE Pros, the NXT Poll results were revealed live. The first NXT Rookie to be
eliminated during week 11 of competition was “Showtime” Percy Watson!
Zack Ryder defeated Michael McGillicutty. After the elimination of “Showtime” rocked the WWE Universe, the fearless Michael McGillicutty
faced off with Zack Ryder in an NXT Rookie vs. WWE Pro match. McGillicutty surely impressed the WWE Pros – including his Pro, Kofi Kingston
who was at ringside – with his efforts, but could not pull off a victory over The Long Island Loudmouth. Ryder sealed his opponent’s fate
with a Rough Ryder. With his week 11 loss, McGillicutty’s record fell to 6-3.
Kaval defeated Husky Harris. NXT Rookie rivals Kaval and Husky Harris met in singles action again this week. While the “Army tank with a
Ferrari engine” has defeated WWE Universe favorite Kaval in all of their past one-on-one matches, Harris wasn’t as fortunate this week. Kaval
tapped into his arsenal of impressive offense to finally defeat and quiet a cocky Harris before the night’s last elimination. With his loss,
Harris’ record fell to 4-4, while Kaval's improved to 3-5.
Kofi Kingston defeated Alex Riley. After his appearance on Raw the night before where he helped his WWE Pro, The Miz, attack and berate a
returning Daniel Bryan, NXT Rookie Alex Riley went one-on-one against another WWE Pro, Kofi Kingston. But on WWE NXT, the Varsity Villain
couldn’t bully his way to a win over for the former Intercontinental Champion. Kingston schooled the NXT Rookie, defeating him with Trouble
in Paradise just moments before the night’s final live elimination. With his week 11 loss, Riley’s record dropped to 4-4.
Husky Harris eliminated. In the final elimination of the night, NXT Rookie Husky Harris was voted out of the competition. The “Army tank with
a Ferrari engine,” who was a third-generation competitor, won’t be WWE’s next breakout star – a fact his WWE Pro, Cody Rhodes, revealed he
isn’t too pleased about. After the announcement that Harris was going home, Rhodes went on the attack, screaming at the remaining competitors,
even assaulting Kaval, resulting in mayhem among the NXT Rookies and WWE Pros.

WWE TRIVIA CHALLENGE
With just one week to go until the NXT season two finale, the last three NXT Rookies had their knowledge of WWE history put to the test for
an exclusive WWE.com takeover at the most critical moment as the WWE Universe prepares to help determine WWE’s next breakout star.
Kaval challenged Cody Rhodes. After last week’s shocking double elimination, the three remaining NXT Rookies – Kaval, Alex Riley and Michael
McGillicutty – have very few chances left to prove why they are WWE’s next breakout star. NXT host Matt Striker asked each of the Rookies how
it felt to be a finalist in the competition. When Kaval took the microphone, he first thanked the WWE Universe and then immediately set his
sights on Cody Rhodes, who assaulted the NXT Rookie following Husky Harris’ elimination last week. Kaval challenged Rhodes to a match, but the
SmackDown Superstar told the Rookie that they were not on the same level and denied the request. This prompted WWE Pro MVP to confront Rhodes
and issue his own challenge for later in the evening, which the Rhodes accepted.
Kaval won the WWE Trivia Challenge. In order to be a successful WWE Superstar, one must appreciate and acknowledge the history of what has
come before them. There is no history richer than that of WWE, and the NXT Rookies’ knowledge of Superstars and events of days past was put
to the test. While the son of “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig, Michael McGillicutty, seemed to be the early favorite, Kaval quickly demonstrated
his familiarity with Superstars and WWE moments, past and present. The two Rookies remained neck and neck while varsity letterman Alex Riley
would essentially flunk, answering only one question correctly. At the end of the competition, Kaval scored the most points to secure a
victory. With his win, the NXT Rookie earned a special feature on WWE.com beginning at midnight ET, following the conclusion of NXT.
Cody Rhodes defeated M.V.P.. With both of their Rookies eliminated the previous week on NXT, MVP and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes were done talking
and ready to get down to business inside of the ring. While Rhodes initially denied Kaval’s challenge, he accepted The Ballin’ Superstar’s
request and the second-generation competitor was out to silence his critics and prove that he is on a higher level than both the NXT Rookies
and his fellow Pros. The execution of a jarring Cross Rhodes gave The “Dashing” Superstar a convincing victory over MVP and suggested that
perhaps Rhodes can actually back up his endless talk.

wowing the WWE Universe with his impressive arsenal of martial arts-inspired moves all season long, earns a match against the champion of his

the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros stunned.
An all-new season of NXT premieres next week on Syfy! Season three of NXT will feature six NXT Rookie Divas paired with WWE Superstar and

JOKE OFF CHALLENGE
The NXT video plays and we're brought into the arena. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews welcome us to the show.
Excuse Me! Vickie Guerrero comes out to the stage with her rookie Kaitlyn. Michael Cole almost wet himself in excitement.
He calls her the Billie Jean King of NXT. She says her rookie embarrassed her last week so she invited someone to the show this week to make
her proud. She's getting massive heat tonight. It's the Intercontinental Champion, her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler. Michael Cole says this is
some class brought to this "silly show". As Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn go to the ring they show the end of last week's NXT. Vickie wanted
Kaitlyn to redo her speech at the end of AJ's match. Vickie wanted Kaitlyn to attack her but it got turned and Vickie wound up on her butt.
Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn defeated Primo Colon & A.J.. Ziggler starts it out against Primo. They lock up and Ziggler punches him. Primo responds
with a dropkick. Ziggler tags in Kaitlyn so AJ comes in as well. AJ gets a waist lock and turns it into a roll up for a two count. AJ gets a
headlock but Kaitlyn gets out. Kaitlyn takes her down with a shoulder block and steps on her. AJ recovers and kicks her down. AJ punches away
and hits a running cross-body for a one count. Kaitlyn gets up and beheads her with a clothesline. Ziggler tags himself in and takes Primo
out before he can get in. Ziggler looks at AJ and intimidates her. Ziggler won't let her get by him so she forearms him a few times, taking
him down. Primo springboards in the ring with an axe handle and hits a running back elbow. Primo hits a nice dropkick and punches him in the
corner. Ziggler reverses a whip but Primo immediately recovers with a clothesline. Primo sweeps the legs for a near fall. Primo misses a
splash in the corner and takes the Zig-Zag. Ziggler picks up the easy win from there. Kaitlyn runs into the ring and hugs Ziggler. Vickie
Guerrero stands at ringside not looking too happy. She walks up the ramp slowly.
Joke Off Challenge. Matt Striker is in the ring with AJ and Kaitlyn. He then welcomes the rest of the rookie Divas to the ring. This is our
first rookie challenge of the evening. They have to tell a joke to the audience. AJ tells a joke about blondes and potatoes. Aksana told a
joke in Lithuanian. Jamie tells a Knock-Knock joke. Naomi is up and she got the crowd fired up. Maxine didn't tell a joke but gave AJ $20 to
get Girl Scout cookies. They fight and Matt Striker breaks it up. Kaitlyn tells a joke to AJ and AJ fights her. Jamie won the joke contest.
Michael Cole bangs on a gong at ringside. What the...?! Cole says all the divas, Matt Striker, and the crowd should be gonged. Everyone but
him and Mathews should be gonged, especially this show.
Jamie defeated Aksana. They lock up and Jamie works the arm. Jamie gets a hammerlock and Aksana reverses it. Aksana gets a headlock and Jamie
pushes her off. Aksana hits a shoulder block and a body slam. Aksana misses an elbow drop and Jamie puts her in a hammerlock. Jamie takes her
down with an arm bar but Aksana gets to the ropes. They push and pull hair. Aksana throws her off and hits some clotheslines. Aksana forearms
her and sends her to the corner. Aksana misses a splash and gets rolled up.
A video highlighting Naomi plays.
A video package highlights the Undertaker vs Kane feud through the years.
Dolph Ziggler is backstage and he's talking to Kaitlyn about her win. Vickie comes up and asks Kaitlyn to leave. Vickie asks what Ziggler was
talking to her about. Vickie says he was all over her. Ziggler says nothing was going on. Vickie warns him that if he's not careful he'll
lose her and she did a pretty funny gyration.
Obstacle Course Challenge. Vickie Guerrero runs the obstacle course only to trip and fall at the end. Vickie then flips out. Kaitlyn starts for
the Rookie Divas and ends up with the best time, winning the challenge.
After the obstacle course was finished Michael Cole got up from the announcer's table and banged the gong. Cole grabbed a microphone and said
this whole show is ridiculous. This whole show violates his journalistic integrity. Cole says he was a war correspondent and now he's
covering this. Cole's done with this entire show and he walks off.

COLE SAVES THE SHOW
The Obstacle Course Challenge is recapped from last week's episode. It shows Vickie Guerrero running the course but falling at the end. She
went nuts. After the "competition" was over Michael Cole walked out on the show. The video ended with Michael Cole saying, "Somebody please
end this!" WWE is admitting this show is a terrible concept.
The NXT video plays and we're brought into the arena with some fireworks. Josh Mathews is the only one at the announcer's table so I guess
he'll be calling the show himself. No, HOLD ON! CM Punk's music hits and he comes out with a suit jacket over his ring gear! He'll be calling
the show with Josh Mathews! Oh my good god, thank you so much! Josh Mathews hands him an 8x10 of himself and Punk tears it up. Punk says NXT
is like a car crash or being arrested. It's not fun when it's happening to you but it's a lot of fun watching other people do it. Amen, Punk.
Matt Striker welcomes the NXT Rookie Divas to the ring. Punk mistook Jamie for Kaval. That was hilarious. Punk also thought two of them were
previously bartenders. Striker says in two weeks there will be an elimination. Wait... I thought they said in the first episode that it would
come at week four. That's next week, not two weeks. Liars! EXCUSE ME! Vickie Guerrero comes to the ring. Vickie says her rookie Kaitlyn was
impressive last week but that's only because she showed her how to run the obstacle course challenge. It's her leadership that has made her
successful. Tonight Kaitlyn will be in a match to face Jamie. To make sure she doesn't mess it up she's invited her close friends to coach
her. Lay-Cool's music hits and they come to the ring with their Unified Diva's Championship. Michelle McCool says Kaitlyn should be thanking
her lucky stars that Vickie is her pro. She can trust in the two of them because they are the first ever Undisputed Diva's Champions. They're
also the sole reason Kaval won Season Two. Layla says if Jamie's Pros, the Bella Twins, were there, they wouldn't win. McCool mocks all the
rookies saying they have nothing. Lay-Cool makes fun of all the divas until... Kelly Kelly comes to the ring. She says Jamie's pros may not
be here tonight but she is. Kelly says she thinks Lay-Cool and Kaitlyn should take on her, Jamie, and Naomi tonight. Lay-Cool says it's on.
Musical Chairs Challenge. They played clown music just to further the stupidity. CM Punk hilariously said he did this in 1998 when he was
training to be a wrestler. AJ wins and jumps around celebrating the win.
They play a video for Aksana. Aksana is backstage when Goldust walks up to her. She looks concerned and Goldust asks her what's wrong. She
says she got a letter from the US Immigration Office and there's a problem with her Visa. She could be deported and she doesn't want that.
Goldust says they'll fix this and tells her to stay focused. She's lost her first two matches and that needs to be fixed. She can still win
NXT. Back at ringside CM Punk looks dumbfounded.
A.J. defeated Maxine. Maxine takes AJ down and bashes her head off the mat. AJ gets sent into the ropes and hits a shoulder block. AJ cartwheels
over her and executes an arm drag. AJ nearly whiffs a roundhouse kick. Maxine fights back and sends her into the ropes but AJ knees her in
the face. Maxine hits a drop-toe-hold into the ropes and chokes AJ. Maxine applies a chin lock. AJ tries to fight up but Maxine powers her
down. Maxine hits a rookie suplex and gets a one count. Punk sarcastically says this is the greatest TV show on earth. AJ starts fighting back
with clotheslines and a dropkick. Maxine hits a Brain-Buster but AJ floats over for the win.
Michael Cole comes out and says the majority of the people actually want him on this show. Michael Cole says he's gotten letter and phone
calls asking him to return. He had an epiphany: NXT without him is unwatchable. It's like Bristol Palin trying to dance. NXT without Michael
Cole is just simply bad. What a character he could be. He calls his loyal fans the "Cole-Miners". Cole says he's back for CM Punk and Josh
Mathews. Michael Cole is back on NXT!
Matt Striker is in the ring with the rookie divas again. This is the "Talk the Talk" Challenge. They'll be given a random topic to talk about
and the audience will judge them. Jamie is given the topic of "teeth". Michael Cole and CM Punk hilariously rip on her during that. Cole asks
for his gong and Punk wonders what her promo has to do with molars. Naomi has nothing to say about "toupees" and just wants to wrestle. AJ is
given the topic of "caffeine". She cuts a solid promo about passion and love of the business. Michael Cole gives her a standing ovation.
Aksana's topic is "llama". She says "First of all..." and Punk hilariously thought she said "Constable". She has no idea what a llama is. She
doesn't even know what a camel is. They just buzz her. Maxine cuts a terrible promo about a "foot". Michael Cole says it was horrendous. She
says she could squash AJ with her thought. Kaitlyn then cuts the worst promo of the night on the topic of "ignition". She talks about people's
underwear and says nothing. AJ wins the challenge.
Jamie, Naomi & Kelly Kelly defeated Kaitlyn, Michelle McCool & Layla. Kelly slaps Layla and takes her down with a Thesz Press. Jamie is
tagged in and Layla laughs at her before ripping the flower out of her hair. Jamie powers her to the corner and Layla shoves her. Jamie
kicks her and hits a body slam. Layla says she's too good for this and tags in Kaitlyn. Jamie puts her in a headlock. Kaitlyn fights out
and spears her down. Kaitlyn misses an elbow drop and Jamie wrenches the arm. Naomi is tagged in and they fall. Michelle McCool is tagged in
and she stomps Naomi in the corner. Punk called her "Nadine". He's been getting their names wrong all night. Naomi rolls her up for a one
count. Naomi hits some nice moves and a wheel kick in the corner. McCool eventually comes back with a belly to belly following a distraction
from Layla. McCool tags in Kaitlyn to make the pin and Naomi counters for the win. Kaitlyn pushes Michelle McCool after the match and she's
beat down by Lay-Cool. Vickie Guerrero says she's sick of Kaitlyn. Punk signs off by saying he'll be back next week. "This is NXT. For Michael
Cole, I'm CM Punk. Shut up Josh!"

FINALE
We recap last week's game of musical chairs. A.J. wins the challenge. Then we get a replay of the ladies discussing random topics for 60
seconds. Must have been riveting. A.J. wins that challenge also.
Here we go and the show starts with a pyro display. Michael Cole and Josh Matthews welcome us. Matt Stryker introduces the Diva contestants
and they take a spot in front of the pros. Stryker lets us know that the challenge tonight is a wheelbarrow challenge. They must wheel it
around the ring in the fastest time to gain a victory. The Diva who has the most victories in competitions will be granted immunity.
Maxine is up first. Before she starts, Stryker says a fan has a great idea to make the wheelbarrow heavier, and it's not Michael Cole's ego.
Cue Hornswoggle and the Divas learn that if Hornswoggle falls out the Diva is eliminated. Maxine begins and her time is 14.7 seconds as she
crossed the line before dropping Hornswoggle who proceeds to knock her down and he is chastised by Stryker. Naomi is next and her time is 15.2
seconds. Jaime begins next and her time is 14.4 seconds. The crowd is booing and to their credit, Cole and Matthews are making fun of the
competition and the show in general. Kaitlyn is next and she takes the lead with a time of 12 seconds. A.J. is next and her time is 17.7
seconds. Aksana is up next and she completes in a time of 13.9 seconds. Your winner of the first challenge is Kaitlyn. She celebrates on top
of Hornswoggle's shoulders and gets a hug from Vickie.
We are back and we get a closer look at A.J. She is from New Jersey and we get a few random quotes from her. She talks about her family and
their struggles growing up. We see pictures of her as a young girl as WrestleMania and with a WWE belt. She makes a case for herself as the
best Diva.
Cole and Stryker pimp Hell in a Cell. We also learn that NXT will be seen exclusively on WWE.com starting next week.
We now get a closer look at Kaitlyn. She explains that she has always loved the stage and loves to entertain. Her style is one of being
goofy, funny, and beautiful. Her favorite Diva is Beth Phoenix. She, of course, says she will do whatever it takes to win. Another promo for
Diss the Divas.
Smackdown recap. It shows the Kane/Undertaker challenge segment that ended with the surprising return of Paul Bearer.
Diss the Divas. We are back with divas in the ring. They will be allowed to tell why they are the best and the other girls stink. Aksana
starts and says since she spends all her time in the gym, she is prettier and better than the rest. A.J. is up and says she will take the
high road. She explains that Divas can be more than pretty; they can play video games and not wear high heels. Kaitlyn starts with a bad
impression of Naomi falling down. She states she will win the contest. Jaime is next and rips Aksana's outfit and makes fun of A.J.
She then says she will win. Naomi is up and Stryker explains they need to diss the other Divas. Naomi says since she will say nothing mean,
just state she is the best wrestler and that Kaitlyn only won the challenge because she messed up. She then gets in Kaitlyn's face. Crowd is
dead. Maxine is up. Maxine explains that the perkiness of the other Divas bothers her. Says men don't like nice girls and nice girls cannot
get stuff done in a man's world. Her time is up. We go the crowd for a vote as if they even paid attention. The crowd picks A.J.
"Excuse Me" and Vickie heads to the ring. She says she has tried to work with Kaitlyn to no avail. Kaitlyn says Vickie is bringing her down.
She challenges Vickie to a match. Vickie accepts challenge and they will fight next week and slaps Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn pushes her down and a cat
fight breaks out until thank the Lord Stryker breaks it up.
Again we are reminded next week is the first elimination and the only place to see it is exclusively on WWE.com
