WWE vs ECW
HEAD TO HEAD
6-7-06 LIVE
Nutter Center
Dayton, Ohio
Earlier in the week, Paul Heyman told WWE.com that WWE vs. ECW Head to Head would be the biggest night in the history of
ECW. And boy was he right... literally. After Randy Orton eliminated an unsuspecting Kurt Angle in the WWE vs. ECW Battle
Royal, it appeared as though he and Big Show emerged victorious for WWE. But just as Orton was starting to celebrate, Big
Show shocked the raucous crowd at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio when he ripped off his RAW shirt to reveal a brand new
ECW shirt. ECW just added the largest athlete in the world to their brand, and picked up a world of momentum heading into
One Night Stand this Sunday. Before the Battle Royal, Big Show appeared to be trying to rally his then-fellow WWE troops.
He told them, ECW has no idea what they`re going to get. And he was right. The last ECW wrestler eliminated in the Battle
Royal, Kurt Angle, had to pick his jaw up off the floor after he realized Big Show was the newest member of ECW. But Big
Show wasn`t done making an impact just yet.
In the main event, WWE Champion John Cena went one on one against Sabu in a non-title, Extreme Rules Match. After enduring
massive amounts of punishment from the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal Sabu, The Champ was able to catch his adversary in
the FU. He looked to finish him off with his patented STFU, but before Sabu could tap, Big Show stormed the ring and broke
things up. Almost instantaneously, the ring filled with WWE and ECW stars as the ring was transformed into a makeshift war
zone, whipping the Nutter Center crowd into a frenzy. The battle seemed to extend into the stands as WWE and ECW fans were
having their own war of words with each other. Cena was able to survive his first dose of hardcore Wednesday night at Head
to Head, but the pressure will only continue to mount heading into One Night Stand. Perhaps Cena put it best himself in a
backstage interview with Todd Grisham. For the first time ever, the WWE Championship will be on the line at an ECW
pay-per-view, said Cena in the interview. The Championship has been held by the likes of Bruno Sammartino, the Immortal
Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin. If Rob Van Dam wins, then the Championship will be gone and it will be christened
the ECW Championship. I`ll be the biggest goat in sports-entertainment history.
The WWE Champion wasn`t the only champ in action Wednesday night. World Champion Rey Mysterio had a non-title match of his
own, and his opponent was Mr. Money in the Bank Rob Van Dam. At One Night Stand, Mysterio will defend the gold against
Sabu. Rey Mysterio has said that his World Championship reign has been like a dream ride, but over the last month and
change, he has been putting his body through an absolute hell. Since April 28, Mysterio has had to face Kurt Angle twice,
was overpowered by Mark Henry, was demolished by The Great Khali, was brutalized by the Big Red Monster Kane, successfully
defended his championship against JBL twice, and in addition to having to face RVD at Head to Head, Mysterio also knew
that the bruising Finlay awaited on Friday at SmackDown. Yet through it all, Mysterio has never complained once, and has
fought every battle like a man. And Wednesday night was no different. Mysterio matched high-flying maneuvers with Van Dam
early on, and he even used the hardcore style to his advantage as he connected with a bulldog onto a chair. But when he
tried to use the chair with a leg drop, RVD was able to get out of the way and hit the Five Star Frogsplash to pick up the
win. If Rob Van Dam can do the same thing at One Night Stand on Sunday, then the WWE Championship will have a new home in
ECW. And on the flipside, if Rey is pinned again on Sunday, then Sabu would become the new World Champion. After One Night
Stand, ECW could potentially be the home of both the WWE and World Championships.
While ECW has been known for many things throughout its existence, it`s probably best known for its hardcore action. And
no match will be more hardcore at One Night Stand than when Mick Foley & Edge take on Tommy Dreamer & Terry Funk. This one
has gotten extremely personal, and fans got a taste of what to expect Wednesday night when Edge went one on one against
Dreamer in an Extreme Rules Match. Edge did his best to hang with the Innovator of Violence, but while on the turnbuckles,
Dreamer was able to backdrop Edge off the top rope and then delivered a Dreamer Driver through the table. Before Dreamer
could score the pin, Lita came into the ring and blasted Dreamer repeatedly with a cane. Dreamer endured the shots and
hoisted Lita up for a powerbomb, but before he could execute the maneuver, Edge came from out of nowhere with a spear for
the win. Meanwhile, Foley and Funk brawled on the outside, and it appeared as though the Funker got the best of the
exchange, busting Foley open with a series of vicious rights and lefts. Moments later Foley sat in the ring by himself and
shared some thoughts on why he has spoken out so vehemently against ECW. You think I loved ECW? I loved ECW, but they
didn`t love me back. She was like the girl I couldn’t let go of, but the one that makes me sick upon seeing her. She
wanted too much blood, too much of my heart, too much of my life, so I left and I found fame and fortune in WWE, said an
emotional Foley. Edge and I are prepared to take the beatings of our lives, and I will do that to exercise the sick, twisted
whore that is ECW. I want her out of my life. You`ve seen me thrown off cells, slammed into tacks, put through burning
tables. It is nothing compared to the horrors I will unleash on Dreamer and Funk at ECW (One Night Stand). You stepped on
my soul. You took everything I worked for and through it all away. When I walk into the Hammerstein Ballroom as a WWE
Legend, you Terry Funk and you Tommy Dreamer will learn about loss... Have a nice day.
While Funk and Dreamer represent two of ECW`s biggest legends, one of the faces of ECW will also be in action at One Night
Stand - Kurt Angle. But just as Angle shocked the world when he was revealed as the newest member of ECW, his One Night
Stand opponent, Randy Orton, also had some big news. Last year Orton was drafted, from RAW to SmackDown. But his SmackDown
contract has expired, and Orton signed on to become the newest member of RAW. But before Orton goes back to RAW to try and
make an impact, he has revenge on his mind for Sunday against Angle. You broke my ankle two months ago, the Legend Killer
said to Angle Wednesday night. If you hadn`t done that, I would be World Champion right now. I spent two months wondering
how I was going to pay back Kurt Angle, and now two months later, here I am with my chance. This Sunday, I`m going to use
everything I have to beat you within an inch of your damn life, and all of the excitement of ECW will go down the tubes.
It is my destiny to bring ECW to its knees. Not only am I going to beat you, but I am going to single-handedly kill the legend of ECW.
But the war of words and physicality wasn`t confined to the squared circle. In fact, some of the most heated verbal
exchanges came from the broadcast booths. Jim Ross and Jerry The King Lawler represented WWE and Joey Styles, who quit his
RAW announce job six weeks ago, and SmackDown announcer and ECW alumnus Tazz represented ECW. Tazz, defending his former
brand`s honor, will going one on one against Lawler at One Night Stand. And it was just a matter of time before their
verbal jabs and insults would escalate into a brawl. The two couldn`t wait for One Night Stand, and the two exchanged
punches in an all-out brawl around the announce area. The two had to be separated by several officials, but there will be
no one to separate them at One Night Stand. Will Tazz be able to fulfill his promise and choke The King out, or will
Lawler prove that ECW stands for extremely crappy wrestling?
With the announcers getting in on the action, the Divas certainly didn`t want to be left out. Women`s Champion Mickie
James got her first taste of hardcore when she went one on one with ECW`s Jazz. Although Jazz made her name in ECW first,
she`s also a two-time Women`s Champion in WWE. She showed off why she is widely considered one of the toughest women
wrestlers alive with her hardcore style, but Mickie was able to catch her with a jumping DDT for the win.

ECW Premiere

Sovereign Bank Arena
Trenton, New Jersey
On Tuesday night, Extreme Championship Wrestling made its long awaited return to national television. On the action packed
world premiere, Rob Van Dam declared himself the new ECW World Heavyweight Champion, Paul Heyman was assaulted by John
Cena, Sandman defeated a Zombie and Sabu won an Extreme Battle Royal and the right to face WWE's John Cena at Vengeance.
The highly anticipated world premiere of ECW on Sci Fi opened with the much talked about the presentation of the new ECW
World Heavyweight Championship to Rob Van Dam. Instead of disposing of the WWE Championship as many expected him to do,
Van Dam elected to hold on to the gold. The special moment, however, did not last long. Edge, who will challenge Van Dam
for the WWE Championship at Vengeance, interrupted the celebration. After a few kind words, which were later revealed to
be a set up, Edge speared RVD, and attempted to escape through the crowd. Thinking he was in the clear, Edge stopped to
taunt both RVD, and a stunned Paul Heyman. When Edge turned around, John Cena was waiting for him. The two former WWE
Champions brawled back to the ringside area where RVD joined the fray. After a low blow to Van Dam, Edge again retreated
through the crowd. With RVD disabled, Cena took advantage of the situation and delivered a knockout blow to Paul Heyman.
With that, the ECW locker room emptied and Cena hightailed it through the crowd. Following the assault, Paul Heyman
addressed John Cena and the Sovereign Bank Arena crowd. "You want extreme? You wanna feel extreme? You wanna learn what
extreme is all about? Tonight, everything I had planned for this show is out the window. I`m going to take 10 of ECW`s
best and there going to go out to the ring for an extreme Battle Royal. All weapons are legal, the winner of the extreme
Battle Royal is going to face John Cena at Vengeance, and just as important he is going to join ECW as we take the fight
to Monday Night RAW."
The Battle Royal, which included ECW veterans Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Danny Doring, Roadkill, Al Snow, Stevie Richards,
Tony Mamaluke, Little Guido, Big Guido, Balls Mahoney and ECW newcomer Big Show, lived up to it`s billing and more. Using
an arsenal of weapons, which included a steel chair, trash can and a variety of street signs, the hardcore wrestlers put
their bodies on the line in an attempt to make a statement on ECW`s historic re-debut. Big Show eliminated no fewer than a
half dozen of his fellow ECW wrestlers, but in the end, it wasn’t enough as ECW legend Sabu used a chair to
eliminate Big Show, and earn a trip to Vengeance where he will meet John Cena in a rematch of their meeting at WWE vs.
ECW: Head to Head.
The inaugural match of ECW on Sci Fi may go down as the shortest match in ECW history. Living up to his moniker as the
Hardcore Icon, Sandman made quick work of the mysterious character known only as the Zombie. With trademark beers and
Singapore cane in hand, The Sandman brutally assaulted the Zombie and recorded a quick pinfall for the victory.
The new face of ECW, Kurt Angle, made his Sci Fi debut a memorable one. The Wrestling Machine dominated ECW veteran Justin
Credible with an incredible display of aggressive shoot style wrestling, showing the Trenton, New Jersey fans what the new
Kurt Angle is all about. After the match, Angle addressed RAW`s Randy Orton, who will be his opponent at Vengenace.
"Orton, I`m going to do the same thing to you at Vengeance as I did to you at One Night Stand, which is to make you tap
out. You`re looking at the new face of ECW."
Also on the Sci-Fi premiere, viewers were introduced to the "Tease of the Week", Kelly. The blonde bombshell revealed
herself to be an exhibitionist, and performed an extreme dance for the fans the likes of which has never been seen on
Sci-Fi before.
If you thought the world premiere was extreme, you haven`t seen anything yet.
ECW is live every Tuesday at 10/9 CT and only on Sci Fi.

The sophomore edition of ECW on Sci Fi was nothing short of a major success for Team ECW. Rob Van Dam and Kurt Angle
thrived in their debut as a tag team, and Sabu had an extreme warm up as all three men generated momentum for their huge
matches this Sunday at Vengeance. The ECW World Heavyweight Champion and the Wrestling Machine proved to be the
unstoppable duo that everyone expected them to be when they dominated WWE representatives Randy Orton and Edge. The
contest, which on paper would appear to be a classic confrontation between four of the wrestling world’s best turned into
a chaotic brawl typical of what one can expect in an ECW ring. Van Dam, who was competing in his first match on ECW on Sci
Fi, brought nothing less than his A-game. RVD used a variety of martial arts kicks, both from the mat, and the top
turnbuckle in neutralizing his WWE opponents. At one point, Van Dam appeared to be ready to put the match away when he set
up Orton for the Rolling Thunder, but interference from Lita sent RVD crashing over the top rope to the arena floor. Team
WWE tried to take advantage, and Orton even hit a RKO on Angle, but on this night, in front of their loyal ECW fanbase,
Van Dam and Angle were not going to be denied. The newly crowned Champion used his WWE Championship to block a spear
attempt from Edge, and then capitalized by delivering a devastating 5-Star Frogsplash to give ECW the victory, and the
advantage heading into Vengeance.
In the hours leading up to the show, the ECW locker room was on high alert for the appearance of a vengeful John Cena.
Nobody in ECW doubted the former WWE Champion’s toughness, but after this night, many will doubt his sanity. After
entering the building through the backdoor to a welcoming party consisting of no fewer than a half-dozen hardcore rebels,
Cena made Paul Heyman and Sabu an offer that he will almost surely regret come Sunday. “That was a hell of a stunt you
pulled last night. I’m sure that maniacal brain of yours has something extreme planned for me this Sunday, but I’m here
because I have an offer. If you want me this Sunday, bring anybody you want. In fact, bring everyone you got. My offer for
you at Vengeance, John Cena and Sabu in an Extreme Lumberjack Match. You see, I’m man enough to stare an ass kicking in
the face, as long as I get the chance to go down swinging. Do we have a deal?” Moments later, Sabu accepted, and the match
was finalized. Prior to the shocking challenge, Sabu had his final hardcore warm up for the big Vengeance showdown. In
singles action, ECW’s resident death-defying maniac took on the F.B.I.’s Tony Mamaluke, who was led to the ring by the
Full Bodied Italian, Trinity. Mamaluke gave a spirited effort, but on this night, he was in the ring with a motivated and
focused Sabu. As usual, the homicidal hardcore veteran turned up the violence. Sabu reached into his arsenal and pulled
out a steel chair and a table en route to victory as he mounted his final push towards Vengeance.
Last week on the inaugural ECW on Sci Fi, Big Show made his presence felt in the first ever Extreme Battle Royal. This
week, Tommy Dreamer showed the balls that earned him the adulation and respect of the ECW fanbase when he addressed the
newest member of Extreme Championship Wrestling. “Last week in the battle royal, you were dominant. You got your very
first taste of what it’s like to be hardcore, but if you wanna feel the heart and the passion of ECW, and if you wanna
make a name for yourself here, then you have to go through me.” With that, the Innovator of Violence slapped the oversized
ECW newcomer across the face, igniting a fuse in the Big Show which traditionally means the end of any adversary. Show
proceeded to unleash a brutal assault on Dreamer including his newest maneuver, a modified cobra clutch backbreaker which
left Tommy helpless as Big Show left the ring.
Also on last week’s show, Kelly, the enthusiastic 19 year-old exhibitionist, vowed to show the world all of her assets. On
this week’s show, Kelly was back, promising once again to show the fans in attendance and the viewers watching on Sci Fi
what being an exhibitionist was all about. Midway through her erotic and suggestive dance routine, an unknown male emerged
and wrapped a towel around Kelly before escorting her off the stage. The identity of the man remains unknown at this time.
Earlier in the show, a character known only as Macho Libre made his way to the ring and tried to run down the ECW product.
Seemingly on cue, The Sandman executed a repeat performance from the ECW on Sci Fi world premiere. Entering through the
crowd, the beer drinking hardcore icon made quick work of Macho, using his trademark cane to decimate the unwanted
outsider, in doing so, saving the ECW fans from any further insult.
With Vengeance in clear sight, Team ECW has seized all the momentum. This Sunday, the WWE Superstars might be on their
home field, but they will be fighting an uphill battle when ECW’s hardcore rebels come to town.

This week, WWE and ECW World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam defeated the Wrestling Machine, Sandman beat up an
obese male stripper, and Big Show manhandled Tommy Dreamer…again.
Tuesday afternoon, it was announced that the Rob Van Dam vs. Kurt Angle match would carry a special stipulation. If Angle
won, he would be inserted into the Championship match at July 15’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, turning the Triple Threat
into a Fatal Four-Way. Tuesday night, Angle told the ECW fans what being a Champion meant to him. “What you don’t know, is
that every day since April 2nd has been a failure to me. Because, April 2nd was the last day I held a Championship”. The
Olympic hero continued. “Inside, I hate myself because I am a Champion. I am the greatest Champion this business has ever
seen. Tonight, I’m going to put Rob Van Dam in such agonizing pain that he’s going to wish he could go back in time and
choose a different line of work. When your name is Kurt Angle, failure is not an option.” For Kurt Angle, failure might
not have been an option, but on Tuesday night, it was a reality. The Wrestling Machine gave a first-class performance, but
the reigning WWE and ECW Champion was up for the challenge. Angle owned the early portion of the match, using his vast
arsenal of mat-wrestling techniques to ground the high-flying Van Dam. RVD eventually fought back, using a variety of
trademark martial arts kicks to gain the advantage. However, Angle had Van Dam well scouted because when RVD went for his
signature Rolling Thunder, the Wrestling Machine was ready and countered it into the Ankle Lock. Somehow, Van Dam fought
his way to the ropes and escaped the Ankle Lock, earning himself a second chance in the match. RVD took advantage of his
new lease on life, countering an Angle Slam attempt into a spike DDT, and then sealing the deal with the Five-Star
Frogsplash. After the match, Van Dam was attacked again by Edge, who delivered on his promise to show up at Sci Fi when he
arrived with Lita prior to the main event and claimed two seats in the Roanoke Civic Center’s front row. Edge, who along
with John Cena will challenge Van Dam for the WWE Championship at July 15’s Saturday Night Main Event, speared RVD for the
second straight night, sending a message to the ECW fan-favorite.
Last week on Sci Fi, Tommy Dreamer told Big Show that if he wanted to prove himself in ECW, he’d have to go through the
Innovator of Violence. Show ended up giving Dreamer the beating of a lifetime. As Big Show left the ring, Dreamer was seen
pulling himself to his feet, seemingly asking for more punishment. This week, Dreamer proved to have the biggest balls in
all of ECW, or sports-entertainment for that matter when he called out Big Show again. The strategy might have been
different this week, but the result was the same as Big Show again laid waste to the former ECW World Heavyweight Champion.
Tonight’s episode of ECW on Sci Fi opened with a bang. A frustrated and battered Sabu took on former ECW World Tag Team
Champion Roadkill in Extreme Rules singles action. Early on, the death-defying maniac showed signs of fatigue after his
loss to John Cena at Vengeance. Roadkill controlled the action with a series of power moves, and even mixed in a
springboard like splash from the second turnbuckle. Eventually though, Sabu came to his senses and regained control. Using
his two favorite weapons, a chair and a table, Sabu took the advantage. The hardcore legend drove the Angry Amish Warrior
through a table with an Arabian Facebuster, incapaciting his oversized opponent long enough to lock in the Camel Clutch
and record the victory.
Last week, ECW Vixen Kelly was interrupted in the middle of her expose by an unknown man who covered her assets with a
towel. This week, it was learned that the man with the towel was actually her boyfriend, Mike Knox. The young
exhibitionist accompanied Knox to the ring for his match against Danny Doring, but became distracted when fans repeatedly
asked her to show them the goods. After the match, which Knox won in impressive fashion, Kelly took to the stage.
Unfortunately for the rabid ECW fans in attendance, Knox again threw in the towel and removed the Vixen from the stage.
In the evening’s most troubling moment, a chunky and overly plump male stripper who was described by Joey Styles as
“corpulent”, made his way to the ring and delivered the night’s second revealing dance. The rotund adult entertainer’s
dance was interrupted by ECW’s Hardore Icon, Sandman. The beer guzzling five-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion was not
amused by the fat man’s dance. Accordingly, the Sandman caned the holy hell out of the flabby showman.

“Controversial” would be an understatement for tonight’s episode of ECW on Sci Fi. In the birthplace of ECW, Philadelphia,
a new World Heavyweight Champion was crowned in an absolute stunner when ECW newcomer Big Show, with help from Paul
Heyman, pinned Rob Van Dam to claim the richest prize in all of Extreme Championship Wrestling. Also, Kelly gave a special
salute to our great country, Test made an impressive ECW debut, and Sandman caned the “holy hell” out of a fatherly
imposter.
The huge news on this night though was not the caning of a fake holy man, but that of the double cross which was as
unexpected as the return of ECW itself. Former ECW owner and current figurehead Paul Heyman turned on his close friend Rob
Van Dam, allowing Big Show, an ECW newcomer, to become an unlikely ECW World Heavyweight Champion. The match itself was
every bit the brawl that ECW fans had expected. The action was intense early on, spilling into the ringside area and even
into the crowd. Big Show spent a good portion of the match bullying the Champion, making full use of his overwhelming size
advantage and keeping Van Dam off his feet, where he does the bulk of his damage. Eventually, Van Dam was able to battle
back, unleashing his high-flying arsenal and array of martial arts kicks to take control of the massive Big Show. After
Rolling Thunder failed to get a three-count, Van Dam attempted to get extreme. On this night, getting extreme may have
been Van Dam’s downfall. RVD went to ringside to retrieve his trademark chair, but the move immediately backfired. Show
slapped the chair out of Van Dam’s grasp and threw the Champ down with a powerful Chokeslam. The challenger went for the
cover but Van Dam kicked out before Referee Mike Posey’s hand hit the mat for the three. The cover would turn out to be
Posey’s final one of the evening, as Big Show took out his frustrations by viciously assaulting the defenseless referee.
Van Dam capitalized on Big Show’s momentary lapse in focus, countering a powerbomb attempt with a chairshot, and then
hitting the mammoth extremist with a Van Daminator, setting the scene for one of the most shocking moments in ECW history.
The ECW Champion ascended the turnbuckles, and hit a soaring Five-Star Frog Splash, further proving the theory that nobody
gets higher than RVD. With no referee in sight, Paul Heyman made a mad dash to the ring, leading many to believe they were
witnessing the sequel to One Night Stand. Heyman counted to two…but stopped short of three, creating an image of pure
betrayal as the ECW Champion stared into the eyes of his former boss. Heyman’s turn created all the distraction that Big
Show needed to recover, as the giant returned to his feed and put Van Dam away for good. Big Show leveled RVD with a
chair, and then a final devastating Chokeslam on to the chair, covering the fallen star as Heyman counted to three. The
hardcore Philadelphia fans looked on in stunned amazement, peppering the ring with water bottles and debris as the man who
they spent years supporting turned his back on them for an ECW outsider. Following the match, ECW.com attempted to get
comment from Paul Heyman regarding his actions. Heyman refused to comment on his own behavior, but did issue an official
ruling. “As of this moment, Rob Van Dam has been suspended for 30 days”. ECW on Sci Fi went on the air with Heyman
addressing the ECW audience. He acknowledged RVD’s rough road over the last few days, but re-iterated that Van Dam was
still ECW Champion. “Unfortunately, it’s true. Last night on RAW, RVD lost the WWE Championship in a most controversial
fashion. But, Rob Van Dam is still the ECW Champion… a champ that has displayed more pride, passion and ambition than any
champion before him.” Before Heyman could finish, he was interrupted by Big Show, who demanded a shot at the ECW gold.
“Paul, you said that if I made the jump to ECW, I would get a title match…I’m not asking, I’m demanding a title match,
tonight.” Later, RVD visited Big Show in his locker room. “You challenged me for a shot at the title tonight? I like
that”. With those words, RVD delivered a thunderous slap to Big Show’s face, leaving Show with not a look of anger, but a
smile, seemingly indicating that he was enjoying the path on which things were headed. Minutes later, Van Dam made a final
fateful visit with Heyman. After a brief motivational talk, RVD convinced Heyman to reluctantly make the match. In
addition to green-lighting the match, Heyman eagerly added a special stipulation: Extreme Rules, which was seemingly a
set up for the chaos that occurred at the conclusion of the evening’s events.
Kelly celebrated her freedom by providing the crowd with a special 4th of July Expose. The exhibitionist seemed very
comfortable doing her patriotic duty to make the fan’s heads rise. While she was all smiles showing off her well kept
figure, her boyfriend, Mike Knox didn’t show the same enthusiasm. Repeating last week’s antics, Knox again broke up
Kelly’s performance, covering the young Vixen with Old Glory and ushering her off stage before she could honor America
with her birthday suit. Afterwards, Knox headed back out to the ring to face his opponent, Little Guido Maritato. Before
the match, Knox chastised the Philadelphia crowd, calling them “perverts” for taking pleasure in his girlfriend’s
presentation. While he was busy worrying about people gawking at Kelly, Little Guido went on the offensive, but was
eventually overpowered by the much larger Knox. The ECW newcomer finished off Guido with a modified STO to record the
victory.
Test made his ECW debut in impressive fashion. The big man mauled Al Snow from bell-to-bell. Test attacked the ECW veteran
with a variety of violent blows, leaving Snow helpless on the mat. For Snow, who only managed to muster small offensive
jabs, Head was of no help. Test finished the fan-favorite off with a brutal swinging neck breaker to get the win.
Afterwards, adding insult to Snow’s certain injury, Test grabbed Head and punted it into the crowd, putting an exclamation
mark on his ECW in-ring debut, letting the other Extremists know he’s a force to be reckoned with in the new ECW.
Someone posing as a man of the cloth suffered a thrashing at the hands of The Sandman. The imposter hopped from his seat
and grabbed the microphone. The faker lashed out at the fans and viewers for enjoying a show that included so much
“violence, language and sex”, even suggesting that ECW had no business on being on TV. His harsh words soon lost meaning
however, as he admitted to being an imposter that lied as a way to gain access to the house mic. After getting his
thoughts off his chest, he took his seat among the rest of the “sinners” to ride out the remainder of the “filthy” show.
As soon as he took his seat, the phony wholly man got the wholly crap smashed out of him when The Sandman made his way
through the crowd and pulled the phony wholly from his seat into the ringside area.

Ric Flair accepted Big Show`s challenge, but he wasn`t up to the task of defeating the ECW Champion in an Extreme Rules
Match. 10 years ago, Big Show defeated Flair to win the WCW Championship, his first World Championship. Prior to the
match, Flair said that he wanted to return the favor and win his record 17th World Championship, promising to eat the
champion alive if he made a mistake. As expected, the massive champion dominated most of the match, making the "Nature
Boy" bleed in the process. But as the match wore on, the veteran RAW Superstar found his second wind. Utilizing the
Extreme Rules to his advantage, Flair hit the champion with several shots to the groin; with Show down from the testicular
carnage, the "Nature Boy" grabbed a barbed-wire baseball bat. Taking a page from sworn enemy Mick Foley`s playbook, Flair
assaulted the champion with the bat and made him bleed. After a pair of trash cans to the head, three swings with a chair
sent the champion down into a bed of thumbtacks. It looked like Flair had the advantage, but falling into the piercing
thumbtacks only fired up the champion. Standing up with a vengeance, Show ran through Flair with a vicious clothesline and
hit a chokeslam. Not content, the champion nailed Flair with the most recent addition to his repertoire, the Cobra Clutch
Backbreaker. He left Flair in the Clutch, and that was all she wrote for the valiant challenger. After the match, Show
tossed Flair violently into the thumbtacks, leaving the challenger a bloody mess as he celebrated. The ECW fans,
appreciative of the efforts of the 16-time World Champion, serenaded the "Nature Boy" with a "Thank you Flair" chant as he
was helped from the ring.
The man who helped Show become ECW Champion, Paul Heyman, opened the show by coming to the ring surrounded by riot cops.
He explained his actions against Rob Van Dam, saying that he didn`t screw RVD... the fans did. "Please don't blame me for
Rob Van Dam`s downfall, be honest and blame yourself," Heyman said. "You are the reason RVD is no longer ECW Champion, and
furthermore, you are the reason I had to suspend him for 30 days. And I did it for RVD's own well being... I tried to
reason with RVD and slow him down. You people were driving RVD into an early retirement, forcing him to burn himself out.
Your chants made him sacrifice his own body; your chants drove him to the ECW Championship... and drove me to put an end
to it all." That wasn`t all, however. As Heyman continued, he proclaimed himself to be the messiah, saying that he
sacrificed his 10-year friendship with RVD for the good of ECW. "I promise you that I will be your messiah. I promise you
that I will continue to make decisions that benefit no man, woman or child, even my own children," he spewed. "I will make
decisions for the benefit of only ECW. Because as your messiah, I promise you I will lead ECW to the promise land! Forever
stamped on the soul of Paul Heyman are the letters E...C...W!"
After his speech, Heyman ran into Tommy Dreamer backstage. Dreamer tried to ask Heyman what was going through his mind,
but Heyman said there was no time because Dreamer`s match was next. Dreamer wasn`t happy, and in fact, he wasn`t even
dressed for action yet; unfortunately, he had to go to the ring as he was. When he got there, he found out that his
opponent was Test. Dreamer attacked and got the advantage early, but the 6 foot 6 Canadian dominated most of the match.
The Innovator of Violence made a comeback and tried the Dreamer Driver, but Test slipped out the back door; he then rolled
Dreamer up, getting the three count with his feet on the ropes.
In what was supposed to be the hottest moment of the night, RAW`s Candice Michelle came to Minneapolis to dance with
exhibitionist Kelly Kelly. Unfortunately, however, Mike Knox`s jealousy got the best of every other man`s desire to see
two half-naked women dance with each other. Just when it looked like Candice and Kelly might share a moment, Knox came
to the stage to cover Kelly up again. But as he tried to whisk her away, The Sandman came to play the knight in shining
armor. Knox tried to beg off, but several shots from Sandman`s Singapore cane sent him reeling for cover. After one last
swing sent Knox crashing off the stage, Sandman drank a beer on stage as the appreciative crowd showered him with applause.
Sabu was in action, taking on Justin Credible. Late in the match, Sabu set up a table and sent Credible crashing through
it. Unfortunately, the match wasn`t Extreme Rules, so Sabu was disqualified. He won`t have to worry about that on Saturday
however, as he will compete in the first-ever Extreme Rules Match in the history of Saturday Night`s Main Event.
For the second week in a row, CM Punk gave the ECW fans another glimpse into his world. This time, Punk explained the
meaning of his tattoos before saying that he is a disciplined athlete who craves competing against the very best.
And in a bizarre moment, Ariel the Tarot Card reader appeared once again to announce that the future held blood. It was
then revealed that the vampire that`s been hanging out around the ECW arenas was behind her, and in fact had taken a bite
out of her neck.

The Big Show challenged Undertaker to try to take his ECW World Title… but just when it looked like he would defeat Big
Show, The Great Khali came out and destroyed the Deadman. Big Show and Undertaker fought hard back and forth in their
match. The crowd kept rallying behind the Deadman, who had Big Show on the ropes when Khali made his surprise visit.
Undertaker went right for Khali and the two phenoms fought their way to the ring. Undertaker went extreme on both the
giants, repeatedly hitting them with a chair. But as the Deadman was preparing to send Khali through the announce table,
Big Show and Khali came together to give Undertaker a double chokeslam through the table instead. Khali stood over
Undertaker’s body with his arms raised and let out a victorious yell as the show went off the air. After such a beating,
there is no telling how bad the carnage will be between Undertaker and The Great Khali Sunday at The Great American Bash
in the Punjabi Prison Match.
Earlier in the show, Paul Heyman went to the ring with two private security guards to explain to his “children”
(the audience) that they needed to “drink the Kool Aid,” and that he understood how it would be hard for them to keep up
with his “superior intellect.” Tommy Dreamer, who’s been with ECW from the beginning, came out and told Heyman that “right
or wrong, I always had your back, but everyone in the locker room, they are confused…I’m your friend…you owe that locker
room an explanation…What the hell is going on with you?” Heyman dropped the mic, grabbed Dreamer by the face and gave him
the kiss of death; full on the mouth, man-lips touching and everything. Without warning, Heyman’s newest disciple, Test,
flew in and decimated Dreamer. Just like last week, Test obediently delivered Heyman’s brutal form of discipline for
questioning his motives.
Mike Knox told his girlfriend Kelly Kelly that he was putting a stop to her exhibitionist ways. The show started with
Kelly trying to scratch her exhibitionist itch on Kelly’s Exposé, but once again, her jealous boyfriend stopped her. Knox
blamed Kelly for the caning he received from Sandman last week while trying to stop Kelly and RAW Diva Candice Michelle
from becoming too intimate. He went on to order her to stand in his corner to watch his Extreme Rules match with Sandman.
Anything goes in an Extreme Rules Match; no disqualifications and no count outs. During the match, Knox pulled Kelly in
front of him to shield himself from Sandman’s signature Singapore cane. Kelly took a devastating shot to the head, but
Knox was unphased and proceeded to hit Sandman with several low blows before getting the pin and storming out of the
arena. He didn’t even check on the incapacitated Kelly, who had to be taken away by paramedics on a stretcher, leaving
everyone to wonder what kind of a man he is.
Another famed Extremist, Sabu, showed everyone Tuesday night he could get the job done no matter what. He faced ECW
veteran Stevie Richards, but it was not an Extreme Rules Match. The men grappled for a while, but Sabu won the bout with a
Camel Clutch, a move made famous by his uncle The Original Sheik.
From extreme wrestlers to extreme lifestyles, Ariel the tarot card reader and her Vampire cohort made an appearance this
week. It looked like the Vampire had been feeding on Ariel again, and her tarot cards predicted death in the future of Big
Show and The Great Khali. This prediction did not come true Tuesday night; could it come true at The Great American Bash?
This week also gave us glimpse of several other ECW Extremists. The first was Balls Mahoney, who said he’s a little nuts
and he likes it that way. Next was the straight-edge wrestler CM Punk who believes it’s his extreme discipline that will
give him an edge in ECW. Finally, there was Mohawk sporting Shannon Moore. Little is known about the seen, but not heard
“Reject” who will be coming to ECW soon.

Sabu wants a chance at the ECW World Title and is willing to take matters into his own hands to get it. But according to
ECW’s messiah, Paul Heyman, it’s not going to happen. “I won’t make the match. Not tonight, not next week, not ever,” said
Heyman who proceeded to tell Sabu to take the rest of the night off because he was “too emotional.” Heyman would not give
in even at the request of ECW Champion Big Show, who was confident he could destroy Sabu just like he planned to destroy
Kane later in the night. “I know you trust my judgment,” said Heyman, who has become increasingly vague and controlling
over the last several weeks. “I have my reasons.” That might have been enough of an answer for Big Show, but the Suicidal,
Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac wouldn’t take no for an answer. In Tuesday night’s Extreme Rules Main Event,
the 7-footer Kane showed that he could go extreme, making good use of chairs, garbage cans and tables. Just as Kane was
about the get the three count on Big Show, Heyman came to his champion’s aid and pulled the referee out of the ring. The
enraged Big Red Monster pulled Heyman into the ring, but Big Show viciously hit his opponent with a chair and followed
with an extra-brutal chokeslam on a chair for the win. But that wasn’t enough for the extreme champion. Big Show was about
to further punish Kane with a chair, but he turned to catch a surprise chair kicked in his face by Sabu. Heyman looked on,
furious that Sabu would disobey him, but it was too late; Sabu had sent his message. Will Sabu get the answer he is
looking for or will Heyman retaliate for his insubordination?
Earlier in the night, Heyman made an example out of Little Guido for allegedly disagreeing with the “lifeblood” of ECW.
Much like he had his henchmen beat up Tommy Dreamer last week, Heyman had his private security guards pummel Guido before
dragging him to the ring, where his beating continued in a match against Ariel’s blood sucking, gothic friend. Not
surprisingly, Guido was no match for his opponent, who left him a defeated, battered mess.
Speaking of horrible beatings, the night began with Mike Knox protesting allegations that he abandoned girlfriend Kelly
Kelly last week after Sandman accidentally caned her in the head when Knox used her as a human shield. “I would never
abandon you,” Knox assured the skittish Kelly. Knox defiantly blamed Sandman for caning Kelly and called him out for a
match. Sandman came out and went to town on Knox., but just when he was about to hit Knox with the Singapore cane, the
petite Vixen dove in to protect her boyfriend. Sandman pulled up short, but was then blindsided by Test, who proceeded to
beat the hell out of Sandman with Knox’s help. The match ended in a disqualification, but Knox didn’t seem to mind as he
left the ring with his new friend. Once again, he left Kelly behind, even though she had selflessly protected him. Test
and Knox were congratulating each other in the locker room area when Dreamer came out of nowhere and bashed both men in
the head with a garbage can. Dreamer was obviously upset about Test attacking him for Heyman last week, and wanted
everyone to know that he wouldn’t fall in line that easily.
Two other ECW staples, Balls Mahoney and Justin Credible, exchanged blows in a non Extreme Rules Match Tuesday night.
After having no success with several submission holds, Credible knocked Balls into referee Mike Posey, sending him to the
ground in a daze. Credible took the opportunity to grab a chair to try to gain the advantage in the match, but Balls took
the chair and hit him over the head just as Posey was coming to. Posey called for the disqualification, and Balls, who is
used to competing in Extreme Rules Matches, furiously argued with him about it. Ultimately, Balls took out his frustration
by hitting Posey over the head with the chair. The Detroit crowd exploded with chants of “Balls” after getting to see the
Chair Swinging Freak do what he does best.
For several weeks now, fans have caught glimpses of some Extremist on their way to ECW. This week “The Reject” Shannon
Moore made another silent appearance. “The Reject” was sporting his signature Mohawk, makeup and nose ring, but again said
nothing. On the other hand, CM Punk explained he was just a kid from the streets that will get to live out his dream in
one week when he debuts on ECW.

For the second week in a row, Sabu made a statement without saying a word. Paul Heyman again denied Sabu's request for a
match against ECW Champion Big Show, so the Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac again answered by
attacking Big Show in front of the rabid audience at Hammerstein Ballroom. Earlier in the night, Sabu confronted Heyman
and again told him he wanted a match against Big Show, but Heyman said that would never happen. "Big Show is ECW Champion
now," said Heyman. "That's a long term investment for us. You're all scarred up because you'll do anything to win. I
can't subject Big Show to that." He went on to ask Sabu to leave the arena or he would be forced to have him escorted out.
When it came time for the main event, Batista looked like a formidable opponent for the extreme giant. The Animal
unleashed some of his pent up aggression, but Big Show responded with his own extreme strength. Both men traded huge blows
throughout the course of the match, but it seemed neither could get the advantage. Big Show became frustrated when Batista
kicked out of a pinfall attempt after a thunderous chokeslam, as it seemed nothing would take down The Animal; as a
result, Big Show grabbed his ECW Championship and clocked Batista over the head with it, drawing a disqualification. Big
Show didn't seem to mind, though, and he continued his assault by striking Batista out of the ring. While the giant was
celebrating his moral victory, Sabu ran to the ring and hit the champ with a chair. The crowd exploded with cheers as Sabu
ran to grab another chair, which he used to hit Big Show with an Atomic Arabian Facebuster, knocking him to the apron. As
Big Show tried to make it to his feet, he was hit with another chair to the face, sending him flying off the apron and
through a ringside table. The sold-out crowd reached a fever pitch, as they could not believe what they just saw. Even
though he has the support of the fans, Sabu should be careful; will Heyman look to do to him what he's done to other
Extremists that have gone against ECW's messiah?
Another target of Heyman's, Tommy Dreamer, teamed up with fellow ECW original Sandman to take on Test and Mike Knox in an
Extreme Rules Match. When Dreamer and Sandman started pulling weapons out from under the ring, the crowd loudly chanted
"we want tables." Not ones to disappoint the fans, Dreamer and Sandman did one better by pulling out barbed wire boards,
which the crowd appreciated. Just as Dreamer and Sandman were about to catapult Knox into the barbed wire, Test caned
Dreamer in the head, busting him wide open. Eventually Sandman chased Knox out of the arena, leaving Dreamer and Kelly
Kelly alone in the ring. The fans wanted to see a return of Kelly's Expose, but Dreamer put Kelly over his knee, pulled up
her skirt and proceeded to spank her to the delight of the raucous crowd. The fans' fun quickly ended though, as Heyman's
private security guards stormed the ring and beat the hell out of Dreamer. The angry crowd screamed "you sold out" at
Heyman, who responded with a martyr pose before ordering the guards to throw Dreamer into the barbed wire board. Dreamer
screamed in agony before Test came back to throw him into the twisted mess again and pin him for the win. Will this be
enough punishment to satisfy Heyman? Only time will tell.
CM Punk made his highly anticipated ECW debut, and he was greeted by many pro-Punk signs and raised crossed fists. Before
the match, the straight-edge Extremist said that he was disciplined enough to quell his passion for competition before the
battle and then release it in combat. Punk must have done a lot of quelling before the match, because he was able to
defeat former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Justin Credible. In the match, Punk showed off the Jujitsu and Muay Thai
style that he is famous for with several powerful kicks and an amazing flying knee. Punk then finished off Credible with a
Guillotine choke/Keylock combo submission hold, and the crowd cheered in approval for the new Extremist.
Showing his extreme intensity, Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle made light work of the Brooklyn Brawler as well. The
Brawler made a statement before the match claiming to be "too extreme for RAW and too hardcore for SmackDown," saying he
felt right at home in ECW. Angle came out and immediately slapped the Ankle Lock on him, but the Brawler was able to get
to the ropes and get out of it. The Brawler proceeded to get in Angle's face and even gave him a healthy shove; Angle
wasn't having it, so he struck him down with a fierce headbutt and applied the Ankle Lock again. This time, Brawler tapped
out almost immediately.
"The Reject" Shannon Moore was also seen again this week. This time Moore and his trademark Mohawk were hanging out on the
subway.
Ariel and her vampire friend Kevin Thorn were also seen hanging out in an alley, and Thorn passed along this message: "In
the dark, in the light, I am Kevin Thorn and the blood of ECW will be mine."
There certainly was plenty of blood shed at Hammerstein Ballroom, but with the chaos abounding in the land of extreme, one
can only wonder if there is more to come.

Rob Van Dam made a surprise return from his 30-day suspension Tuesday night to ruin the No. 1 Contender's Match between
Sabu and Kurt Angle. As ECW on Sci Fi went off the air, Angle and Sabu were left dazed from RVD's devastating attack and
the ECW crowd was left wondering whom Big Show will face at SummerSlam. The historic match was the first time that the
Wrestling Machine and the Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac had ever faced each other. Both men showed
just how badly they want a chance at the ECW World Title in the intense match, as they traded the advantage many times.
Sabu landed many high-flying moves off the ropes, but Angle showed off his Olympic mat work. In the end, Angle got Sabu in
his devastating Ankle Lock and it looked like it might be all over. But out of nowhere, Rob Van Dam sprang into the ring.
Armed with a chair in hand, RVD hit a Van Daminator on Angle before going over and kicking a chair into the face of Sabu.
RVD was clearly on fire and had a lot pent up aggression to let out. The last time RVD was in the ring, he was screwed out
of the ECW World Title by Paul Heyman. To make things worse, he was informed by Heyman that he was going on a 30-day
suspension "for the good of ECW." Now that the 30 days are up, it is obvious that RVD is on a mission to get back what he
has lost. Earlier in the night, Big Show made it clear that he didn't care who he faced at SummerSlam, saying that he would "crush
them like crackers for [his] soup." But is he as confident now that there are three very different, very accomplished
Extremists that have him in their sights? With no winner for the No. 1 Contender Match and the return of the former
champion, many wonder who Big Show will face at SummerSlam. Many also wonder why Heyman is screwing the guys who
originally built ECW - first suspending Van Dam and then denying Sabu's repeated requests for a match against Big Show.
What will Heyman do now in light of this latest indiscretion?
Speaking of ECW originals screwed by Heyman, Tommy Dreamer limped to the ring to face Mike Knox. Dreamer was obviously
still pretty banged up from last week's brutal beating at the hands of Test and Heyman's personal security guards. Despite
his injuries, Dreamer dominated Knox and looked like he was about to get the win when Heyman and his private security
force came out to the ring. Heyman distracted the referee while his private security force pulled Dreamer out of the ring
and beat him down. Knox was then able to hit the roughed up Dreamer with his signature Spinning Reverse STO and get the
win. But that was not enough for Heyman, who entered the ring with his guards and began stalking the battered Dreamer into
the corner. "How does it feel now, Tommy?" Heyman shouted as he and his henchmen inched closer. "Do you feel my pain?"
Just when it looked like Dreamer was done for, Sandman's music hit the air. The ECW fans erupted as The Extreme Icon made
his way through the crowd to protect his old friend, but Heyman wasn't through yet. "That man is a disciple of mine,"
ECW's self-proclaimed Messiah told Sandman, who was guarding Dreamer with his Singapore Cane. "I love him. I love that man
like he was my own son." Heyman ordered that Dreamer be taken away for medical attention, also informing Sandman that he
would be facing Knox and Test alone in a Handicap Match. But there was one other catch: the match not be held under
Extreme Rules, so Sandman would be without his signature Singapore Cane. Sandman, who was still furious, didn't look like
he cared that it wasn't an Extreme Rules Match as he immediately started swinging his cane at Knox. It was knocked out of
his hands before he could get a hit in though, and Knox and Test proceeded to take turns whooping him. When Sandman was
finally able to fight his way back to his trusty friend, he jumped up and bashed both men in the head twice. Sandman was
disqualified, but it did not look like he minded as let out a victorious scream in the middle of the ring.
Going from ECW old school to new school, Kevin Thorn made another impressive appearance in the ring this week, defeating
Al Snow. Several times during the match, Thorn went to Ariel to share a dark moment with her, who seemed to be feeding off
his performance. It has been rumored that the fanged duo frequent bite clubs all over the world, and after Thorn's win,
the two shared a moment before leaving the ring.
Straight-Edge Extremist C.M. Punk also made an appearance this week to thank the ECW fans for the support they showed at
his debut last week. "Last week I was welcomed into the ECW family far more than I ever was into my own family," said
Punk. He went on to say that he didn't want to dwell on the past, but would rather look to the future and promised to make
the most of his return to the ring next week.
Former World and WWE Tag Team Champion Rene Dupree made his first ECW appearance as well, announcing that he would be
making his way onto the extreme scene. "Hello, I'm Rene Dupree... soon to be the most extreme athlete in the history of ECW."
Balls Mahoney, who is no stranger to the ECW brand, also made an appearance to say why he liked ECW. "Everything here is a
little more extreme - balls to the wall you might say," crowed a gleeful Balls.
ECW is always full of extreme violence, extreme matches and extreme action, but this week it was also full of extreme
mayhem. With Heyman continuing to beat down the guys who made ECW, and with the shocking return of ECW original RVD, there
is no telling what the repercussions will be or what will be in store for SummerSlam.

ECW's Main Event on Tuesday was full of unexpected surprises. The Triple Threat Ladder Match became lost a participant and
after weeks of suffering Sabu's surprise attacks, Big Show inadvertently helped the Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal,
Death-Defying Maniac win a chance at him and his ECW World Title at SummerSlam. The main event became a Ladder Match
between Sabu and Rob Van Dam after Paul Heyman announced that Kurt Angle would not be able to compete due to a groin
injury he received last week. Although Angle had been trying to keep the injury a secret, Heyman said, "I have to protect
Kurt Angle from himself." Sabu and RVD showed that each would do anything to win the match for a chance at the ECW World
Title and put their bodies on the line. RVD took a breathtaking leap for the contract dangling above the ring from the top
of the turnbuckle, but came up short and Sabu almost broke his opponent's neck when he gave him an Arabian Face Buster on
the steel ladder. After several failed attempts to make it to the top of the ladder, RVD looked like he had the match won.
With the contract just inches away from his fingers, and Sabu nowhere to be seen, Big Show ran in, pulled him off the
adder, and slammed him through a ringside table. The ECW World Champion then ordered the contract to be lowered to him. It
became clear that Big Show and Heyman had a plan in place to get Big Show out of defending the ECW World Title at
SummerSlam. Heyman had already taken Angle out of the equation, and now Big Show looked primed to take out RVD and Sabu
and retrieve the SummerSlam contract for himself. But Sabu jumped on him from the top rope. Big Show caught him by the
legs and was poised to hit Sabu with a power bomb. Sabu was able to keep his focus, though, and grabbed the contract while
he was up in the air before Big Show brought him crashing to the ground, winning the match and an opportunity at Big Show
and the ECW World Title at SummerSlam. Big Show, furious that he was not able to stop Sabu, picked him and and gave him a
thunderous chokeslam. The champ then went over to RVD, dragged him into the ring and gave him a devastating chokeslam as
well. But through the pain, Sabu was still clutching the sacrificed his body for. Right before the match, Heyman was seen
talking with Big Show and his Private Security Force when out of nowhere, Kurt Angle attacked them and brutalized Heyman's
goons. Obviously beyond enraged about being put on medical suspension, Angle then attacked Big Show, but a mob of police
officers came running up and took the Olympic Gold Medalist down. Undeterred, Angle gave Big Show a headbutt to the chest
as he was taken away in handcuffs and Heyman yelled out, "I'm going to crucify you!"
Earlier in the evening, Tuesday night kicked off with Hardcore Legend Mick Foley in the ring saying that Ric Flair would
not be able to accept his invitation to the show because he was home recuperating from the beating Foley gave him Monday
on RAW. Foley took the opportunity to say that he has never quit because he would think less of himself if he did. Foley
went on to send a message to Flair to bring his "A" game to SummerSlam, but vowed that he would win because the letters "I
q u i t" are not in his vocabulary. Foley then told the ECW fans that he would live up to his promise and do something
extreme; something he had never done before, and he asked Kelly Kelly and RAW's Melina to join him. The gorgeous ladies
came out and Foley said that they were going to do an ECW original: a Three Way Dance. But instead of the bell ringing and
the three beating the hell out of each other as most ECW fans are accustom to with a Three Way Dance, the sound of music
hit the air and the three literally danced. Some of the dancing was sexy, some of it was awkward, and okay, some of it was
down right goofy, but before they could finish, the Nature Boy came running out. After hitting Foley with two low blows
and throwing him into the stairs, he took his belt and choked Foley who had blood spewing from his mouth. Flair grabbed
the microphone and told the Hardcore Legend that he would make him quit at SummerSlam before storming off.
Later that night, Mike Knox and partner Test made light work of Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke from the FBI when they
faced each other in a tag team match. After a hefty beating, Test won the match when he hit Mamaluke with a spinning neck
breaker for the pin. Knox and Test celebrated their victory, but not for long. Tommy Dreamer and Sandman - with his trusty
Singapore cane - crashed the party and ran them out of the ring. The ecstatic crowd cheered "ECW" when they saw the ECW
originals. Sandman took several swings with his cane, but could not reach them. Knox and Test retreated to the back, with
Knox holding his girlfriend Kelly Kelly in front of him the whole time as a human shield.
CM Punk defeated Justin Credible in their rematch after he claimed Punk's victory over him two weeks ago was a fluke. Punk
is not only drug and alcohol free, but his win Tuesday night keeps him loss free as well. Much like in his ECW debut,
Punk showed off his Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai skills as he hit Credible with several impressive punches and flying
kicks. In the end, Credible tapped out when Punk got him in an Anaconda Vice submission hold.
ECW fans caught another glimpse of Shannon Moore this week, who had this message: "Question Authority."
Rene Dupree also made an appearance, and took a moment from his photoshoot to share a message as well. "I'm the most
beautiful man in sports-entertainment," said Dupree. "But I'm going to prove to everyone that I'm the most hardcore
wrestler to step in the ring."

Sabu promised to take down Big Show, and he stayed true to his word. However, despite leaving Big Show bloody and
battered, Sabu was disqualified in his rematch against the ECW World Champion. Early in the night, Paul Heyman had told
Big Show he didn't think it was a good idea for the champ to face Sabu. But Big Show told Heyman not to worry and that he
would have no problem taking care of him, especially since Sabu would be out of his element with no chairs, tables or
weapons allowed in the match. During Tuesday night's main event, Big Show dominated Sabu through the beginning of the
match; but later in the match the referee was knocked out when Big Show accidentally speared him, and Sabu took the
opportunity to hit Big Show with a series of chair attacks. He threw the chair out of the ring and covered the giant as a
new referee ran to the ring, but the big man kicked out; at that point, it seemed that nothing Sabu threw at the
extreme giant was enough to get the job done. After weeks of struggling for even a chance at Big Show, Sabu snapped and
grabbed the ring bell. The referee tried to stop him, but ran off when it looked like Sabu would attack him. The out of
control Sabu then struck Big Show in the head, busting him open. The referee called for the disqualification, but Sabu
continued to beat the champ with the bell, sending him out of the ring and crashing through a table. Even though Sabu
stood tall, it was only a moral victory as it was the bloody and battered Big Show who left victorious with the ECW
World Title.
Big Show wasn't the only Extremist Heyman counseled that night. He also talked to Hardcore Holly, who made his ECW debut
this week. "Here you are having been held back all these years because of your reputation for volatility," Heyman told his
newest disciple. "I know you're angry; I'd be angry too. I'd be downright vengeful." But Heyman went on to warn Holly that
he had enemies in ECW, whispering into his ear the name of one Extremist in particular he needed to be aware of. "As soon
as he found out I was signing you to ECW he started rallying the locker room against you," Heyman told him. "For you to
make it in ECW you need to make an impact." Holly wasted no time heeding Heyman's words. Immediately following Rob Van
Dam's victory over Danny Doring, Holly came out to the ring and hit RVD from behind with a steel chair. He then cracked
Doring over the head with it before giving RVD a vicious Alabama Slam, letting everyone in the locker room know Hardcore
Holly was in the house. Could RVD be the name Heyman whispered to Holly?
Another Extremist that has had his share of dealings with Heyman, Tommy Dreamer, was in action as well. After Mike Knox
and Test stopped the Extreme Bikini Contest between ECW's Kelly Kelly and RAW's Torrie Wilson, Dreamer and fellow ECW
original, Sandman, stormed to the ring. Sandman challenged Knox, Test and Kelly to a Six Person Mixed Tag Team Match
against him, Dreamer and Torrie. The beautiful Diva got the action started when she dragged Kelly into the ring by her
hair, and she went on to yank up her sequined bikini bottoms and give Kelly a Facial. Knox & Test would soon take over,
but even though they tried to double-team their opponents, Sandman was able to pull off his signature Rolling Rock Senton
Bomb and White Russian Leg Sweep before Dreamer hit Knox with a powerful DDT for the pin and the win. Dreamer, Sandman and
Torrie celebrated the huge victory over Test and Knox in the ring, as the ECW originals have been facing off with the two
new Extremists in one of the most bitter rivalries currently in ECW.
From bitter to biters, Vampire Kevin Thorn took on ECW original Balls Mahoney in the night's Extreme Rules Match. Thorn
inflicted serious injury on Balls with his walking stick, but Balls retaliated by pounding Thorn's head into the announce
table and smashing a bottle of water into his face. Balls was about to take a chair in the ring to do some serious damage,
but Ariel bit him in the leg. Thorn took the opportunity to grab Balls and hit him with what looked like a modified
jawbreaker for the pin and the win. Ariel was so excited that she wrapped her legs around Thorn's waist and the two
shared an extreme moment in the ring.
Even though he only competed in his third match on Tuesday, CM Punk has quickly become an ECW favorite. The straight-edge
Extremist faced Christopher W. Anderson, who was making his ECW on Sci Fi debut. Anderson, an ECW original, is known for
pounding his opponents with his powerful left fist and his deadly Anderson Spinebuster. It was an exciting match as the
two men quickly exchanged a series of maneuvers. Anderson got in a few big left hands and the devastating Spinebuster, but
Punk responded with a huge running knee and a series of quick martial arts strikes and kicks. In the end, Anderson tapped
out to Punk's devastating Anaconda Vice submission hold. Even though Anderson did not get the win, he put up a good fight
against one of ECW's newest competitors.
Also making his debut this week was former RAW Superstar Matt Striker. In addition to trying to give a vocabulary lesson
to the "uneducated fans of ECW," as he put it, the teacher also offered a bit of knowledge. "Brawn only works some of
time," he said very slowly. "Brains work all of the time. I'm bringing my brains to ECW."
Newcomer Rene Dupree took a break from combing his hair in the mirror to share his thoughts as well."I look in the mirror
and I see the most extreme athlete in the history of ECW," said Dupree.
And finally, the Mohawked "Reject," Shannon Moore, made an appearance once again to pass along his message that "The
system is oppressive." Moore's words sum up the atmosphere in ECW, at least if you ask ECW originals Dreamer, RVD and
Sabu. But with Heyman working so hard to keep Sabu away from his champion, what will his reaction be now that he has left
the champ bloodied and beaten?

Paul Heyman's downward spiral into his own myth reached a new low this week when he enlisted the help of numerous
disciples and made good on his promise that he would defeat Sabu in an Extreme Rules Match. "I am the father of Extreme
Championship Wrestling," Heyman said earlier in the night. "Tonight I have been left with no other option but to fight on
worldwide live television in an Extreme Rules Match. Dr. Frankenstein must destroy his own monster... Tonight on ECW, I
will pin Sabu, 1-2-3." It seemed like an impossible claim that Heyman, who has never wrestled in ECW, could beat the
Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac, especially since it was Extreme Rules. But Heyman had a plan and a
lot of muscle. Since he could not be disqualified for interference in the Extreme Rules Match, Heyman came to the ring
with his Private Security Force, who proceeded to beat Sabu with their batons. Then ECW World Champion Big Show came out
and busted Sabu's head open with a chair. Big show even held him so Heyman could get in a few hits. "I made you!" Heyman
screamed in Sabu's face. After punching Sabu in his already bloodied head, Heyman gleefully danced around the ring,
excited to have the blood of Sabu on his hands. "I am your messiah," Heyman cried out in a martyr-like pose as Big Show
continued to beat on Sabu. But Sabu was not without back up. RVD came running to the ring and beat his way through the
Private Security Force into the ring to hit Big Show with a Van Daminator. Heyman tried to revive Big Show, but Sabu
grabbed him from behind and gave him an Arabian Facebuster. RVD grabbed Heyman and held him on a table outside the ring.
Sabu did a running leap off a chair in the ring to hit Heyman, but Big Show caught him in mid-air with cat-like reflexes
and slammed him on the mat. Hardcore Holly appeared out of nowhere and gave RVD an Alabama Slam through the table as all
hell broke loose. Big Show gave Sabu a devastating Showstopper Legdrop, then dragged a lifeless Heyman on top of Sabu.
With both men incapacitated, the referee counted 1-2-3 and Heyman was declared the winner. But that was not enough carnage
for Heyman's disciples. Holly brought a table in the ring and Big Show chokeslammed Sabu through it. Big Show did a mock
DX crotch chop while ECW's messiah crawled over and pressed his forehead against the bloodied Sabu's before making the
sign of the cross over him.
But that wasn't the only thing on Big Show's plate Tuesday night. In addition to helping Heyman vanquish Sabu, Big Show
issued a challenge earlier in the night to D-Generation X. Big Show said that he was the most dominant champion in WWE
history and that he had taken out DX at SummerSlam and Monday on RAW. Big Show claimed the duo's fate would be sealed at
Unforgiven, and challenged them to a Handicap Match next week on ECW on Sci Fi. "Somebody's heart is going to get broken,
and the King of Kings will kiss my feet," promised the ECW World Champion.
RVD and Holly were pulling double duty as well. Not only did they get involved with Sabu and Heyman's match, but they
opened the show in singles competition against each other. RVD has been trying to work his way back up the ECW ladder
since returning from his suspension. Heyman claimed he had suspended him for his own good, but it seems like Heyman has
done nothing but put roadblock after roadblock in the way of the former ECW Champion since then. Last week Heyman got into
the head of Holly, telling him that there were many who did not want him in ECW. Heyman even whispered the name of one
particularly anti-Holly Extremist in his ear. Since that time, Holly has been fixated on destroying Rob Van Dam. The two
men fought with everything they had in the intense match. Holly almost got the three count on his opponent several times,
but then RVD unloaded his arsenal; hitting Holly with a Windmill kick and Rolling Thunder, before attempting his signature
Five-Star Frog Splash. After RVD took to the air, Holly pulled together enough energy to roll out of the way and grab a
chair. Holly swung at RVD, but missed. RVD kicked the chair out of Holly's hands, picked it up and struck him with a
vicious shot to the back. The referee called for the disqualification as it was not an Extreme Rules Match, but RVD did
not seem to mind, as he went after Holly with the chair again as payback for blindsiding him with a chair last week.
Now pay attention, because Tuesday night, your teacher, Matt Striker, made an appearance to educate the ECW audience. "Why
don't you realize that I am here in ECW to help you?" pleaded Striker with the crowd who was less than excited to see
him. "I am a bonafide school teacher… You should be looking up to someone such as myself, but you don't cheer for me do
you? You ignorantly cheer for reprobates and pariahs." Striker chided the audience for cheering for Sandman who he claimed
was "ossified from drinking his giggle water." But then Sandman came out to the ring, much to the excitement of the crowd,
and the usually confident Striker looked scared. Before Sandman could strike first with his signature Singapore cane,
Striker attacked him, eventually targeting his forehead with his stapler before retreating from the ring. A bloody, angry
Sandman got up and snarled at the arrogant teacher. Will Sandman teach Striker a lesson in getting even?
From one fan favorite to another, CM Punk is building quite a following since debuting on ECW. This week he faced off with
ECW original Stevie Richards. Punk, who is known for his mixed martial arts style, showed off some new moves this week as
dove head-first out of the ring at his opponent and did a mid-air reversal to hit Richards with a drop kick. Richards put
up a good fight, but in the end, Punk's Anaconda Vice submission hold was too much for him. Richards tapped out,
continuing Punk's undefeated streak.
Speaking of streaks, The Reject Shannon Moore appeared again to deliver a message: fight the power.
Rene Dupree also appeared on ECW, but had a slightly longer message. "I think it's safe to say I'm in the peak of physical
condition, and it's time to make my mark as the most extreme athlete to ever step foot in the ring," boasted Dupree.
Balls Mahoney tried to deliver a message, but was interrupted by ECW Vixen (and exhibitionist) Kelly Kelly. With her
jealous boyfriend Mike Knox nowhere in site, Kelly flashed Balls who laughed giddily for joy.
Balls may have gotten a surprise, but Heyman got exactly what he said he would. Has Dr. Frankenstein truly killed his
monster, or has he just fueled his fire even more?

Even with Paul Heyman's best attempts to protect his ECW World Champion Big Show, D-Generation X stood tall as the victors
in their first appearance in an ECW ring. Moments before Triple H and Shawn Michaels came to the ring, Heyman announced
that the match would no longer be under Extreme Rules despite what X and ECW fan had been led to believe. "I, Paul Heyman,
have had an attack of conscience," declared ECW's self-proclaimed Messiah. "A Handicap Match contested under Extreme
Rules? Where everything is legal?… How can I encourage Big Show to decimate DX with a weapon? I was wrong and for that, I
apologize. Therefore, in the interest of fairness, this Handicap Match will not be contested under Extreme Rules." Big
Show took the advantage early in the match against DX. At one point, both Michaels and Triple found themselves outside the
ring getting pummeled by Heyman's Private Security Force. The Cerebral Assassin suffered a double headbutt from the
helmeted duo and HBK was pulled into the ring for more punishment. But Triple H was able to pull himself together and turn
the tide when he hit the champ with a series of big punches, a knee and a spinebuster. Just as The Game was setting up for
his signature Pedigree, Heyman's newest disciple, Hardcore Holly, stormed the ring and attacked Triple H, knocking him out
of the ring and giving DX the win by disqualification. HBK went after Holly with a flying elbow, but he was quickly
knocked to the ground by Big Show. The Private Security Force proceeded to choke Michaels with their batons while Holly
and the champ attacked him, but Triple H came back with his Equalizer - the sledgehammer and quickly cleared the ring
after cracking the Private Security Force goons in the head. Not only did DX win the match, but they beat Big Show and
Heyman's goons. The McMahons and Big Show better hope Michaels and The Game can't get their hands on the Equalizer when
they face in a Hell in a Cell Match at Unforgiven in less than two weeks.
That Extreme Rules Match may have been botched, but the evening began with an awesome match that fired up even the most
old school ECW fan. ECW originals Rob Van Dam and Sabu teamed up against Test and Mike Knox in an Extreme Tag Match. After
tagging in RVD, Sabu set up a table outside the ring and grabbed his favorite extreme object: the steel folding chair.
While RVD, Test and Knox fought on the apron, Sabu did a flying leap off a chair onto them and all four men went crashing
through the table outside the ring. Sabu and RVD used to train together and it showed. The cohesive pair worked together
to get the win through some well executed teamwork. Earlier in the match, they gave double leg lariats to Knox. Then while
giving Knox the camel clutch, Sabu held a chair in front of his opponent's face for RVD to kick. Finally, the ECW
originals performed the unthinkable when they leapt from opposite corners to hit Knox with two legdrops through a table in
the middle of the ring. A devastated Sabu rolled over and pinned Knox for the 1-2-3 and the win. All four Extremists were
left motionless after the exhausting match, and the fans showed their appreciation for the hard fought match.
Fellow ECW Originals Balls Mahoney and Stevie Richards had a match Tuesday as well, but before they could even take to the
ring, Ariel, accompanied by boyfriend Kevin Thorn, came out and jumped on ECW announcer Joey Styles' lap. Styles called
for help from fellow announcer Tazz, but got none. Earlier in the night, Ariel was reading her Tarot cards to Thorn.
Apparently, the cards held something very sexual for the night. Eventually, Ariel and Thorn retreated to their ringside
seats to watch the match. Balls and Richards exchanged many blows and holds, and the rabid crowd rallied behind Mahoney,
who went into a series of punches on Richards while the ECW fans shouted "Balls." As he was winding up for the very last
punch, Thorn jumped up on the apron and looked like he was going to jump in on the action. Balls went over and hit him
with the last punch, but Ariel distracted the referee allowing her boyfriend to hit Balls in the head with his cane,
knocking him out. Richards covered Balls for the pin and the win and Mahoney was left motionless, face down in the mat.
One more ECW Original made an impact Tuesday night as Sandman ran off your teacher, Matt Striker, who was in the middle of
teaching the ECW fans another lesson. Striker told the Columbus, Ga. fans that as the home to the Little League World
Champions, they were part of the problem. "Little dumb jocks will ultimately grow up to be big dumb jocks," warned
Striker. "Your obsession with sports and games and taking things to the extreme is causing divots in the cultural
landscape." Striker proceeded to put down Sandman and bragged about his superior intellect until Sandman came out swinging
with his Singapore cane. Striker ran out of the ring and Sandman wrote "SUX" under Striker's name on his chalkboard before
knocking over his desk. "You see, a big dumb jock taking things to the extreme," called out Striker from the entrance to
the arena. "You, Sandman, just proved my point. Thank you very much."
From jocks to punks, ECW fans caught another glimpse of "The Reject" Shannon Moore Tuesday who had another installment in
his series of messages: "I'm the Prince of Punk and I'm bringing sexy back." Upon hearing this, CM Punk approached "The
Reject," checked out his makeup, Mohawk and duds before telling him he was a poser and nailing him with a loud smack
across the face. Punk smirked at the stunned Moore before walking away.
With the all the rivalries heating up on ECW, it might be too much for one show to handle. Will Big Show and Heyman's
goons make a surprise visit to DX this Monday on RAW or will the extreme giant wait until they meet at Unforgiven in Hell
in a Cell?

It was a memorable night on Tuesday as ECW made its long awaited debut at Madison Square Garden. Paul Heyman thanked
himself for making the night possible before making an Extreme Rules World Championship Match between Big Show and Sabu.
Also, the ECW originals made a statement during Rob Van Dam’s match with Hardcore Holly, and C.M. Punk created a buzz
during his first MSG match.
This segment is missing due to human error.
Paul Heyman opened the hardcore debut by addressing the ECW fans. “You are part of history,” said the extreme
representative. “This is the ultimate temple, the great church and the grand cathedral…there’s one person I’d like to
thank for getting us here…me!” Heyman continued with his eccentric rant. The former Extreme Championship Wrestling owner
went on to blame the fans for putting ECW out of business five years ago, and even gave himself credit for working with
Vince McMahon to bring ECW to a global platform. But, his rant didn’t last long because hardcore legend Sabu came out to
interrupt the self-proclaimed “Messiah.” Heyman warned Sabu that if he took another step closer, he’d “pin him like he did
last week.” The suicidal, homicidal, death-defying maniac immediately ignored the warnings, instead opting to take out
Heyman’s personal security force. His actions prompted the ECW spokesman to make a match for the main event: Big Show vs.
Sabu, Extreme Rules for the ECW World Championship. For the first time ever, the ECW World Championship was to be defended
in the hallowed halls of the Garden.
When the main event arrived, Sabu made the most of his huge opportunity in his MSG debut. Unfortunately, on this night it
wasn’t meant to be as Big Show sent an extreme message to the ECW fans and D-Generation X. With the ECW World Championship
on the line, both men took advantage of the Extreme Rules stipulation. Sabu made use of his favorite friends, the steel
chair and the table in an attempt to claim the gold in the World’s Most Famous Arena. At one point, Sabu reversed a Big
Show chokeslam attempt into a spinning spike tornado through a table, but was only able to record a near fall. However,
the suicidal extremist made the cardinal sin of “going to the well one too many times,” as Big Show caught him in mid-air
during an Arabian Facebuster attempt and chokeslammed him through a table. A cobra-clutch backbreaker and a Showstopper
later, Big Show had successfully retained his ECW gold. Can DX stop the extreme giant when they are locked together inside
Hell in a Cell? Find out this Sunday at Unforgiven.
Rob Van Dam faced extremist newcomer Hardcore Holly in one-on-one action. The rivalry between the two has gotten more and
more intense over the last few weeks, ever since Hardcore Holly’s ECW debut when he took a steel chair to RVD’s skull.
Van Dam immediately took the battle to the air, launching an aerial assault against the hardcore extremist. Not long
after, the match was interrupted when Test, Mike Knox and Stevie Richards interfered to attack the former ECW Champion.
The beating didn’t last for long, because ECW originals Sandman and Tommy Dreamer stormed the ring and saved their fellow
extreme veteran. It was a surreal scene at the Garden as the ECW originals held the fort down. At the end of the night,
one thing was clear: the war between Van Dam and Holly was far from over.
One of the biggest stories of the evening was the Madison Square Garden debut of ECW newcomer C.M. Punk. Last week, Punk
approached “The Reject” Shannon Moore backstage and called him a poser before slapping the bizarre anti-authority
expressionist to drive his point home. This week, The Reject had his chance for revenge, but he met C.M. Punk on the wrong
night as nothing was going to stop the straight-edge extremist from coming out victorious in his hugely anticipated debut.
The Reject got revenge for last week’s slap, returning the favor in the beginning of the match, but that was all the
offense he would land as Punk used the Anaconda Vice to make Moore tap out. Afterwards, exhibitionist Kelly Kelly
congratulated Punk backstage. The youthful Vixen told Punk she would love to go out and celebrate, but she was only 19 so
she can’t get in to any clubs. Kelly’s boyfriend Mike Knox, realizing that his girlfriend was again chatting with other
extremists, quickly grabbed her and escorted her away from the scene.
Balls Mahoney was back on ECW on Sci Fi this week, this time taking on Rene Dupree in the Frenchman’s extreme in-ring
debut. Last week, Kevin Thorn and Ariel cost Balls his match, and this week was no different. As always, Balls went for
his signature chair, but because the match was not Extreme Rules, the referee confiscated it immediately. During the
distraction, Thorn pushed Balls off the apron and into the ring steps. Dupree took advantage of the situation, rolling
Mahoney into the ring and scoring the victory. For the second straight week, Thorn screwed Balls, and more importantly,
Dupree was victorious in ECW in-ring debut.
Matt Striker was back as New York City headed into “back-to-school” season. The extremist educator told the Madison Square
Garden fans that they could either “drink beer with Sandman”, or they could come to class with, “your teacher, Matt Striker.”

Paul Heyman’s attempt to bring grandeur and elegance to the Land of the Extreme took an unexpected turn when Heyman’s
invited guest, SmackDown’s King Booker, was confronted and challenged to an Extreme Rules Match by ECW Original Rob Van
Dam. Though RVD dampened the King’s ECW parade, with some help from Hardcore Holly, King Booker was able leave Extremist
territory with a victory over Van Dam in his first ECW appearance.
Early in the night, King Booker and his Queen arrived at the arena in a sleek limo and were greeted by ECW’s self-proclaimed
“Messiah,” Paul Heyman. A respectful Heyman humbly kissed his majesty’s hand and informed King Booker that Heyman and his
private security force would escort the royal couple during their ECW on Sci Fi visit. Throughout the evening, King Booker
met a slew of Extremists and Vixens including Balls Mahoney, the F.B.I., CM Punk and others – but perhaps the most
critical encounter was with none other than R…V…D. Despite Heyman’s efforts to keep the two apart, the imperial World
Heavyweight Champion was met by RVD who was both unaffected by and heedless of the King’s crown. Van Dam told King Booker
that he was looking for some competition in Worcester, Mass. and the King – incensed by RVD’s audacity – obliged the
Extremist’s request. Moments later, both competitors battled on RVD’s own turf in King Booker’s first-ever Extreme Rules
Match. RVD brought the fight to King Booker, landing several high impact aerial moves on SmackDown’s royalty. His
majesty – who was visibly disgusted by the vocal, unruly ECW fans – returned the attack by slingshotting RVD into a steel
chair nestled in the corner. After delivering an unprecedented royal Spinaroonie, King Booker proved to be out his element
as he lost control of the hardcore match and Van Dam was able to drop the King with a Five-Star Frog Splash. Suddenly, as
RVD went for the pin, he was attacked by Hardcore Holly who blasted Van Dam with a chair and vicious Alabama Slam. A
grinning Holly exited the ring as King Booker finished his opponent with a Scissor Kick that forced RVD’s head directly
into the chair that lay on the mat. After getting the win, the triumphant King celebrated as Holly returned and stood over
RVD’s fallen and beaten body. Why did Holly assault a fellow Extremist in battle with an outsider? Will RVD respond to
Holly’s grueling attack?
In other action, three ECW Originals met a trio of newly bred Extremists as Sabu, Sandman and Tommy Dreamer faced Mike
Knox, Matt Striker and Test in a Six-Man Tag Match. Following weeks of listening to Striker in his classroom, Sandman
looked to finally get his hands on Striker in the argyle Extremist's first ECW match. In a rugged, truly physical contest,
the size and strength advantage of Test and Knox – paired with the craftiness of the former school teacher – proved to be
a formidable alliance against the Originals. Moments into the match, Test and Knox double-teamed Dreamer on the outside
and as Sandman came to his aid, Striker charged at his adversary and knocked Sandman off the apron to floor. Due to the
hard fall, Sandman was helped up and escorted out of the arena by officials – making it a handicap situation with the ECW
Originals at the disadvantage. Sabu and Dreamer withstood the illegal double- and triple-team tactics of their opponents,
ultimately fighting back until Test shoved the referee into the ropes to cause Sabu to slip. The referee disqualified Test
and his teammates and an irate Test exploded toward Sabu with a big boot, continuing the attack. The two Originals were on
the receiving end of a post-match attack until an injured Sandman fought through the pain in his body and limped his way
back to the ring, wildly swinging his cane and battering Knox and Test with it. Striker – who injured Sandman earlier –
was able to escape Sandman’s attack and though the ECW Originals stood together, an anguished and frustrated Sandman once
again did not get his hands on the former school teacher. How long can Striker avoid Sandman?
The Six-Man Tag Match wouldn’t be the last time Knox appeared on ECW on Sci Fi. Later in the night, CM Punk battled
defeated “The Reject” Shannon Moore by submission for the second week in a row. During the match, Knox’s girlfriend, Kelly
Kelly stood in the entranceway to watch the straightedge Extremist in action. Knox wasn’t happy the week before to find
out that Kelly is a fan of Punk and wasn’t any more pleased this week when he came out to escort Kelly to the locker room
area. Will Kelly be forced to abandon her adoration for another Extremist? Will this be the last time Kelly gets to watch
CM Punk in action?
Balls Mahoney had an opportunity to clash with the bizarre Kevin Thorn after weeks of stalking from both Thorn and his
seductive succubus, Ariel. This time, Mahoney came prepared with ECW Original Francine in her first ECW on Sci Fi
appearance to counteract Thorn’s vampiress. After several minutes of fierce competition, Ariel tripped Mahoney as he ran
into the ropes. This interference caused Francine to confront Ariel and the two engaged in an Extreme catfight outside the
ring. As the Vixens tussled, Mahoney looked on, perched from the second rope; Thorn snuck up behind Balls and dropped him
with the Crucifix for the win.

After dominating in an abominable Hell in a Cell encounter at Unforgiven, Big Show successfully defended his ECW World
Title against Sandman on ECW on Sci Fi. Contending with his intrusive adversary, Matt Striker, who stole Sandman’s
equalizer – the Singapore cane – Sandman was unable to overcome the Extreme Giant on Tuesday night.
Before Sandman collided with Big Show, the lethal ECW Original got his hands dirty early on in the night. As the show
kicked off in Tulsa, Okla., RAW’s Oklahoma native Jim Ross made a surprising appearance in extreme territory and told the
ECW fans that he himself was an ECW fan. Good Ol’ J.R. was then rudely interrupted by the pompous Matt Striker who claimed
to be in the ring at the behest of the benevolent Paul Heyman to educate Ross. Striker continued by mocking Ross and his
cowboy hat until Sandman appeared in the ring behind the smug teacher. As Striker turned around to see Sandman, he
futilely sought help from J.R. and met a Singapore Cane blast to the midsection. After Striker attempted to bully and
humiliate J.R., the RAW commentator was given the cane and laid into the teacher who slithered off towards the locker room
area. Ross then shared a cold brew with Sandman and toasted to the man he believed would be the new ECW World Champion
later in the night.
Though Paul Heyman attempted to warn Big Show of Sandman’s Singapore cane, the champion affirmed that Sandman’s weapon
would be legal in the match. Not only that, but Big Show promised to turn the challenger into a popsicle. Moments later,
the giant Extremist went to war with Sandman with the ECW World Title at stake. In a match where the Singapore cane was
legal, Sandman repeatedly chopped away at the champion, drawing blood from the 7-foot monster. The mangled Big Show fought
back using his girth and giant paws to overwhelm his opponent. The ECW Champion then gripped Sandman’s throat and looked
for the chokeslam until the challenger reversed it into a thunderous DDT. The ECW Original continued his assault, striking
Big Show several times, then scaling the ropes and dropping one colossal shot to the head of the Extreme Giant. It looked
as if Sandman might become champion on Sci Fi until the conniving Striker reappeared and took the Singapore cane. With
Sandman distracted by ECW’s teacher, the 500-pound champion was able to get the advantage, lock in his agonizing
submission hold and finish the job with a Showstopper legdrop to Sandman for the pin. Though Sandman was arguably cheated
by his foe, Striker, Big Show’s victory over yet another ECW Original proved that the World’s Largest Athelete is the
supreme force in the land of hardcore.
Rob Van Dam faced Hardcore Holly in a grueling Extreme Rules Match on Tuesday night. For weeks, RVD was targeted by
Holly – most notably, last week when Holly battered Van Dam, costing RVD his match against the visiting King Booker. In a
contest that was nothing short of vile, Van Dam gained a bit of redemption against Holly. RVD assailed Holly with numerous
kicks and high-flying tactics, suppressing his opponent for much of the match. The momentum shifted as Holly suplexed Van
Dam from the ring to the outside, driving both men through a table to the unforgiving arena floor. Seemingly motivated by
the sight of his own blood, Hardcore Holly continued his aggression by dropping RVD across the throat atop a steel chair
and legdropping RVD from the second rope, slamming a chair to Van Dam’s face. The resilient RVD would fight back,
utilizing the same chair to skateboard into Holly’s skull. Holly gained the advantage by reversing a huge monkey flip from
RVD into a massive powerbomb onto the cold steel of the dented chair. RVD would ultimately muster the strength to hit his
Van Daminator, sending the chair into Holly’s cranium; RVD then ascended the turnbuckle and delivered a Five-Star Frog
Splash to Holly. As the wounded Holly riled in agony from the impact of the splash onto his lacerated, bloody back, Van
Dam covered his opponent for the unbelievable victory.
ECW on Sci Fi this week was also host to an Extreme Cat Fight between the sultry Vixens, Francine and Ariel. Following
their altercation the week before, both fiery women were ready for extreme action on Tuesday night, but before they
battled, Ariel gave Francine an impromptu tarot card reading. “You’ll be fat, ugly, pregnant and dreaming of being with
someone as masculine as Kevin Thorn,” the seductive succubus told Francine, causing the ECW Original to lunge at her Cat
Fight opponent. In a preview of Extreme Strip Poker on Oct. 10, Francine disrobed Ariel and mounted the vampiress until
Thorn entered the ring to end the melee. Storming the ring to help his fellow ECW Original, Balls Mahoney came in to break
up the double-team and rescue Francine. Before the bloodlusting couple could retreat, Balls blasted Thorn with a chair,
full-swing and ECW Originals stood tall.
Though not in action on Tuesday night, CM Punk also made his presence felt on ECW on Sci Fi as he explained his addiction
to competition and stated that he wanted to “compete with the biggest and the best” in ECW – naming RVD, Sandman and ECW
World Champion Big Show. Punk’s monologue was unexpectedly interrupted by one of Punk’s biggest fans, Kelly Kelly. The
gorgeous exhibitionist adored Punk’s tattoos and mildly flirted with the straightedge Extremist, then asked Punk if he
could help her prepare for Extreme Strip Poker in less than two weeks. Before CM Punk could respond, Mike Knox stepped in
and grabbed his girlfriend to end their conversation. The overprotective Knox then questioned Punk and his motives with
Kelly. “That fence you seem to build around [Kelly] isn’t high enough…she’s trying to get into my yard,” Punk told Knox,
resulting in an intense staredown between the two. Knox then said after he was done straightening out Kelly, he’ll be
looking for Punk, who welcomed Knox’s challenge. This unique issue between these three is clearly far from over; will this
explode next week on ECW on Sci Fi?
The self-proclaimed “most Extreme athlete” in ECW, Rene Dupree, addressed the ECW audience. In a most provocative
fashion, the brash Extremist then gestured towards his lower extremity.

Standing tall at the very beginning and extreme end of this week’s ECW on Sci Fi, both Test and the dominant ECW World
Champion Big Show had a huge night at the expense of several ECW Originals. Following a successful ECW World Title defense

gaining a tag team victory over two ECW Originals but also shifting the outcome of the grueling main event match between
Rob Van Dam and Test. Despite Van Dam sustaining one of the most arduous encounters of his career – fending off not just
his opponent, but also Paul Heyman and the Private Security Force – RVD’s near victory was squashed by the Extreme Giant
who cost RVD the contest. This night marked the mauling of the very roots of the extreme, culminating with Paul Heyman
raising the hands of the new blood Extremists.
In a match that revisited the damage and wreckage of the week before, Test battled RVD in an exhausting, fierce Extreme
Rules Match on Tuesday night. A hardcore veteran, RVD used his agility and high risk arsenal in an attempt to nullify
Test’s size and strength advantage. Test countered a lot of RVD’s assault, even moving out of the way of RVD’s corkscrew
legdrop from the ring apron. Moments into the match, RVD took the extreme game to Test by hitting an unbelievable Rolling
Thunder onto his opponent as his body lay atop the steps. The new blood Extremist fought back and prepared to suplex RVD
into a table on the outside – the same fate that befell Hardcore Holly one week before. Van Dam blocked the suplex and
sunset flipped over Test, sending both men tumbling through the table to the outside. To add to the chaos, the tide truly
turned for RVD as Paul Heyman made his way to the ring with his Private Security Force to further interfere in Van Dam’s
matters. It took only a few moments for the black-clad security force to physically pick RVD apart with their nightsticks
– all perfectly legal under Extreme Rules. Nonetheless, Van Dam still continued to fight back after this attack and even
endured flying elbow drop with a chair from Test. Van Dam somehow regained the advantage on Test then eliminated the
security force with a flying dropkick to the pair on the outside. In control, RVD prepared to deliver his Five-Star Frog
Splash to Test’s exhausted body as his body lay strewn across a table inside the ring. Suddenly, the Extreme Giant
appeared to curb RVD’s momentum, launching him off the top rope and through the table. Test capitalized by hitting his
signature fireman’s carry into a swinging neckbreaker for the pinfall and as Test stood triumphant over his opponent’s
fallen body alongside the ECW World Champion, it was clear that Heyman’s quest to ruin Van Dam’s life took a giant step
forward. What is the relationship between Test and Big Show? How are both men and Paul Heyman aligned? What could this
collusion mean for the ECW roster?
Earlier in the evening, the messianic Heyman stood backstage with a wounded and stitched Hardcore Holly. Following an
inhumanly brutal Extreme Rules Match with RVD last week, Holly received 24 stitches and was ordered out of action for 10
days by doctors. This week, the resilient Holly was rabid for competition despite his injury, but Heyman refused to allow
him to compete against RVD. As a result, Holly got physical with the man who brought him to ECW and shoved Heyman into the
wall. Suddenly, Holly was thwarted by a steel chair blast to the back from Test who stepped in to protect Heyman. This
shot from Test not only rocked Holly but also opened up his wound, causing it to bleed and Hardcore to writhe in pain.
Will Holly return the favor to Test and Heyman? Will this prolong Holly's recovery time?
Like Test, Big Show also saw his share of action before the main event in an Extremist tag team encounter. Just one week
after Matt Striker stole Sandman’s equalizer – the Singapore cane – to cost the ECW Original his match with Big Show, the
insufferable teacher teamed with the Extreme Giant to battle Sandman and Sabu. The brash, cocky Striker came to the ring
confident as he stood flanked by the massive ECW World Champion and from the start of the match, the unlikely tandem
mounted a strong offense on Sabu within the ring, keeping Sandman uninvolved. The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal,
Death-Defying Maniac would drop his argyle-fashioned opponent and make the tag to Sandman who finally got some retribution
on Striker with a torrent of haymakers and a Heineken-rana from the top rope. Ultimately, the dominating ECW World
Champion joined the action and used his uncanny girth and might to overpower the ECW Original pair. Utilizing their
advantage, Striker and Show double-teamed Sandman and the former school teacher was able to pin the Singapore cane
swinger. Thus, with the support of the Extreme Giant on ECW on Sci Fi, Striker succeeded in trumping Sandman for the
second week in a row.
In other action, the peculiar Kevin Thorn faced Tommy Dreamer in a highly physical blow-for-blow contest. Overcoming a
ghastly gutbuster, Dreamer was able to synch Thorn and deliver a DDT. Ariel again interfered and slipped Thorn’s foot on
the rope to break Dreamer’s pinfall attempt. An instance later, with the referee distracted, Thorn used his walking stick
to bash Dreamer’s skull and earn another substantial victory.
Another new blood Extremist who gained another victory on ECW on Sci Fi was CM Punk who maintained his extreme undefeated
streak with a win over Danny Doring. Punk upheld his streak and afterwards, was called to from the stage by the stunning
Kelly Kelly who applauded Punk on his victory. As the CM Punk fan prepared for a very special exposé, Kelly’s boyfriend
Mike Knox rushed to the stage and quickly curtailed the corporeal exhibition. Still in the ring, the straightedge
Extremist addressed Knox, saying that the problem isn’t Punk staying away from Knox’s girlfriend, but the problem is
Knox’s girl staying away from Punk. Instantly, Knox headed to the ring to confront Punk, but just as he made his way up
the steps, Knox had a change of heart and backed away. Will this issue ever explode between these competitors? Where will
Kelly Kelly stand if it comes to blows between these men?
Knox may have been able to cover up his girlfriend on ECW on Sci Fi this week, but he may not be able to step in on
Oct. 10 when Kelly competes in the first-ever Extreme Strip Poker on Sci Fi. In preparation for the sexiest card game
ever, Vixens Kelly and Trinity talked about their upcoming competition. Adorned only in two Ace cards, the revealing Kelly
stood by as Trinity pumped and perked two of her most extreme assets. Several SmackDown and RAW Divas were also in
attendance on ECW on Sci Fi, possibly scouting the terrain for the ultimate game of chance on Oct. 10.

This week's edition of ECW on Sci laid it all out on the table. From Extreme Strip Poker turned cat fight to Six-Man Tag
action, by the night's end, the Extremists and Divas dealt ECW fans a full house of pain.
In the quintessential confrontation between ECW Originals and new blood Extremists, the Extreme team of Sandman, Sabu and
Rob Van Dam defeated the collected trio of Matt Striker, Test and ECW World Champion Big Show. Just one week after the
Originals experienced one of the worst nights since ECW’s rebirth, the combination of Sandman, Sabu and RVD stood together
and stood tall following a Six-Man Tag Match this week on Sci Fi. Last week, Matt Striker, Big Show and Test especially
all had a huge night of dominance on ECW on Sci Fi, culminating in the destruction of RVD in an Extreme Rules Match. After
the Extreme Giant tossed Van Dam through a table, Test earned his biggest victory in ECW, but even with ECW World Champion
and the pompous, calculating former social studies teacher as his partners, the true grit and sheer fighting spirit of
ECW’s founding members prevailed. For a majority of the contest, however, the monstrous Big Show dominated by brutalizing
his opponents with his massive hands. Reliving the action of the previous week, Test too used his size and strength to
keep the advantage in his team’s corner. The ECW Originals would show no fear, inviting the punishment and enduring the
assault. The original Extremists fought back utilizing double-team tactics including a Rolling Thunder/Arabian legdrop
from the apron combo from Van Dam and the Homicidal, Suicidal, Death-defying Maniac. RVD, Sabu and Sandman ultimately
achieved the advantage, double-dropkicking Big Show’s kneecaps to incapacitate the immense Extremist and taking out Test
as well. With a vulnerable Striker left alone, RVD ascended the turnbuckle a delivered a giant Five Star Frog Splash to
the educator. For a final touch, RVD tagged in a hyped and extremely eager Sandman who was pinned by Striker in the same
ring one week before. Sandman entered the ring and continued the attack on his rival with a barrage of haymakers and a
Senton Bomb from the top rope for the emphatic win.
ECW on Sci Fi hosted arguably the most highly anticipated and sexiest game of chance on television as Divas from ECW,
SmackDown and RAW participated in Extreme Strip Poker.
Tuesday night saw six of the Sexiest Women on Television face off in a bout of Extreme Strip Poker on ECW on Sci Fi.
Hosted by the loveable albeit hygienically questionable Extremist Balls Mahoney, the Divas fought tooth and nail down
through their layers of sexy lingerie. While Extreme Strip Poker may have ended in a catfight, the clear winner in this
contest was the ECW on Sc Fi audience. The evening of thigh highs and high stakes began with an introduction of each Diva
and an explication of the rules of one card stud poker: the Diva with the lowest card tosses an article of clothing. The
lovely ladies proceeded to play and dutifully removed their clothes when they lost the hand. But as they were getting down
to their final threads, a skeptical Candice accused Maria of cheating, launching the ladies into a catfight and leaving
Balls with a big smile on his face chanting, "ECW, ECW, ECW!"
The undefeated CM Punk faced the self-touted “most extreme athlete” in ECW, Rene Dupree. Given the recent issues he’s had
with Mike Knox – Punk fan Kelly Kelly’s overprotective boyfriend, Punk didn’t seem to be at all distracted in his highly
competitive contest with Dupree. The fierce straightedge Extremist maintained his winning streak by picking up another
victory with his Anaconda Vice.
Like Knox, Tommy Dreamer sought retribution on ECW on Sci Fi, the difference being that the ECW Original succeeded this
week. After the unusual Kevin Thorn cheated a victory out of Dreamer one week before, Dreamer was prepared for Thorn and
his skull-adorned walking stick. By the end of this rematch, Thorn had several near falls on the ECW Original, but Dreamer
displayed his tough-as-nails resiliency. After dropping Thorn with a kick to the very low midsection, Dreamer landed a big
DDT for the pin in the center of the ring, further igniting the evening for ECW Originals and also ending the undefeated
streak of Thorn.

The immense monster was finally slain on ECW on Sci Fi as Rob Van Dam became the first man to pin ECW World Champion Big
Show since the Extreme Giant’s arrival in the realm of hardcore. Part of an ECW double-header, Van Dam picked up a
gigantic win over Big Show after the attempted interference of Test was befouled by some unlikely assistance of Hardcore
Holly. Triumphant in his first singles match against the ECW Champion since the South Philly Screwjob on July 4, RVD’s
victory launches him to the apex of ECW. And now, as promised by Paul Heyman, Van Dam will now receive an ECW World Title
opportunity against the Extreme Giant.
Earlier in the night, ECW’s newest Diva addition, Rebecca DiPietro spoke with both Van Dam and ECW World Champion Big
Show. Van Dam said that his match with Big Show would be his “one and only chance for a rematch he has been waiting…and
waiting…and waiting for.” Supported by the hordes of ECW fans, RVD admitted that this would be the last chance to slay the
dragon. The Extreme Giant himself was primarily focused on the epic Champion of Champions Match at Cyber Sunday. During
his interview, Show claimed that he intended on making an example out of RVD and that “the champion of champions, the
giant of giants” will officially “cut off” Van Dam and then be “movin’ on.”
The match itself was the classic confrontation of David facing Goliath as Van Dam used his agility, dexterity and
quickness to outpace his enormous opponent. Perhaps looking past the immediate challenge in RVD ahead to Cyber Sunday, Big
Show seemed very nonchalant in his approach. Still, the Extreme Giant walked over RVD – literally – for a large portion of
the match, using his immensity to maintain the advantage. The turning point of the contest occurred as the massive
Extremist attempted to avalanche Van Dam in the corner – a move that inadvertently afflicted the referee rather than RVD.
Exhibiting the very passion that is the credo of Extreme Championship Wrestling, RVD continued to bring the fight to Big
Show, reversing the champion’s dreaded chokeslam into an offensive takedown that left him stunned. RVD then ascended the
turnbuckle to seal the deal on the Extreme Giant with a Five Star Frog Splash, until Test emerged at ringside and attacked
Van Dam. Test showed an aggressive ruthless streak by blasting RVD with a steel chair and perhaps would have done more
damage had Hardcore Holly not made his way to the ring as well. Just one week after being wrecked and laid out by Test
himself in the locker room area, a hostile Holly came to ECW on Sci Fi despite being medically suspended due to
lacerations he received in a grisly Extreme Rules Match with Van Dam. Seemingly on the hunt for retribution and physical
confrontation, Holly got just that by dropping Test with the chair, then smashed Big Show as well as the Extreme Giant
reached over the top rope to get his hands on Holly from inside the ring. With Big Show down on his thick back and
vulnerable, RVD took the opportunity to deliver his Frog Splash just in time for the referee to come around and count the
pinfall. It seems that the alliance forged between Big Show, Test and Heyman may have been unsuccessful this week on ECW
on Sci Fi. The unexpected factor was clearly Holly who certainly evened up the odds in this contest. Ultimately, with or
without Holly, RVD’s resiliency earned him the right to battle Big Show for the ECW World Title and when that time comes,
ECW fans are guaranteed an encounter like no other.
Prior to intruding in the main event, Test addressed the ECW fans earlier in the night and made yet another enemy in the
ECW locker room in Balls Mahoney. Making his way to the ring with a cold steel façade, Test touted himself “the impact
player of ECW” and “the most ruthless competitor ECW has ever seen.” He then explained that when he attacked Hardcore
Holly last week, it was because Holly put his hands on the man that hired Test, Paul Heyman. Furthermore, Test stated that
when Holly makes his return to ECW, he intended on making an example out of the fierce Alabaman. Having heard enough,
Balls interrupted the icy, boastful Extremist and challenged him to a fight which Test attempted to back out of until
Balls brought the action to Test with a torrent of blows. The bell sounded and the impromptu match was underway but ended
quickly as an overzealous Mahoney made a crucial mistake that Test capitalized on. In the end, Balls was nearly
decapitated with a big boot from Test and then dropped with Test’s fireman’s carry swinging neckbreaker for the pin.
Gaining a pretty substantial win over a tough, hardened ECW Original, Test is certainly not the same man who once competed
in WWE; this Test looks to be more intense than ever. Will the self-proclaimed impact player’s path cross with Holly’s
once the man whose name is Hardcore is medically cleared? Which man’s intensity and mercilessness will be more dominant?
Sandman faced Matt Striker in the most potentially hazardous match of Striker’s career thus far: a Singapore Cane-on-a-Pole
Match. For the first time ever, Sandman’s weapon of choice was suspended above the ring for either man to retrieve;
whoever reached the cane first got to use it on his opponent. The issue between these competitors has only grown as of
late since its initial stages months back. Just weeks ago, Striker cost Sandman his championship match with ECW World
Champion Big Show and then last week, Sandman got some minor retribution on his didactic rival by pinning Striker in a
huge Six-Man Tag Match. Given his history with Striker, the ECW Original was practically salivating for the opportunity to
crack his cane over the more tender portions of Striker’s body. Clearly out of his element, Striker did not seem to want
to exchange blows with Sandman and as the bell rang for this contest, the crafty Striker immediately ran for pole and for
the weapon – not an unwise move. The ECW Original instantly curtailed Striker’s attempt to obtain the cane, pulling him
off the turnbuckle and down to the mat for a brawl. Moments later, Striker managed to gain the advantage by focusing a
methodical attack on the leg of his opponent. With Sandman grounded, Striker was able to reach the Singapore cane and
prepare to assault his foe with his own weapon. Striker swung with all of his force, but Sandman avoids the unforgiving
bamboo and strips Striker of it. The alcohol fueled Extremist then dropped the teacher with multiple ghastly blows to his
body and skull, drawing blood from Striker’s pompous brow and sending him packing to the outside. Seeing his own blood, a
horrified Striker instantly distanced himself from the ring and fled to the locker room area, giving Sandman the victory
by count-out. Though his nemesis retreated and he could not get all he wanted of Striker, Sandman did get a good piece of
the action he craved, not to mention a taste of the educator’s blood.
Debunking Rene Dupree’s claim that CM Punk’s victory was a fluke the week before, the straightedge Extremist met Dupree in
an ECW on Sci Fi rematch this week. Outlasting Dupree’s show of strength, Punk used his quickness, multi-strike combos and
his submission hold, the Anaconda Vice to force Dupree to tap out for the second week in a row. Before Punk could
celebrate, Kelly Kelly’s overprotective boyfriend Mike Knox charged towards the ring to relieve some of his brooding
jealousy. Punk saw Knox coming, however, and was ready for a fight. Punk blasted Knox on his way into the ring and though
Punk shouted at him and called him out, Knox backed away from a face-to-face encounter.
“The Reject” Shannon Moore met Sabu one-on-one on ECW on Sci Fi. It would again prove to be an unlucky day for Moore as
the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal Death-defying Maniac made short work of “The Reject” and picked up yet another check
mark in the win column against a member of the new ECW breed.

ECW World Champion Big Show and the Messianic Paul Heyman came face-to-face with reality on ECW on Sci Fi, as Rob Van Dam
was successful against the dominant giant yet again, this time in a Ladder Match. Less than two weeks before the Champion
of Champions Match at Cyber Sunday, the Extreme Giant experienced defeat for the second consecutive week on ECW on Sci Fi.
Though Van Dam pinned Big Show one week earlier to earn a chance at the ECW World Title, Heyman and the champion attempted
to renege on their promise by throwing one last obstacle in the path of everyone’s favorite Extremist, RVD. Van Dam would
be granted his title opportunity whenever and wherever he wanted…but first, he’d have to scale a 16-foot tall ladder to
reach the championship match contract. In his career, RVD has participated in and won a number of crucial Ladder Matches
but never against anyone as monstrous as Big Show who barely even needed the ladder to reach the contract. Hungry for the
gold, Van Dam demonstrated his extreme tenacity and athleticism and endured a punishing war with the massive Extremist.
Using his Ladder Match experience to his advantage, Van Dam masterfully and creatively assaulted Big Show with the ladder
itself, causing the ECW World Champion to bleed. To the disbelief of Heyman and the World’s Largest Athlete himself, RVD
again conquered the giant and will unquestionably receive the opportunity he has now earned two times over.
Test, the self-touted Impact Player of ECW, met the medically cleared Hardcore Holly one-on-one. During last week’s main
event, Holly returned the steel chair shot Test landed weeks earlier, gaining a measure of Alabaman revenge on his
nemesis. This week, these Extremists tore into each other with harsh, stiff hits and even a tumultuous suplex from the
apron to the floor, leaving both men incapacitated on the outside. After a hard-hitting and all-out rugged encounter, the
most ruthless competitor in ECW used an illegal advantage to earn a key victory over Holly, then tried to maim him
afterwards with multiple steel chair blasts to his weakened (and possibly reinjured) back.
The undefeated CM Punk managed to uphold his remarkable 12-week winning streak against the cunning Matt Striker. The
straightedge Extremist was also able to keep his jealous rival Mike Knox at bay for yet another week. At the conclusion of
Punk's match, Knox came to the ring and got in some strong blows on his foe to cause a disqualification. Despite already
competing in an exhausting match, Punk retaliated and thrashed Knox, sending him to the locker room area.
ECW’s newest Diva Rebecca was on hand as well on Tuesday night as she spoke with ECW Original Sandman about his potential
Cyber Sunday confrontation with RAW’s Samoan Bulldozer Umaga. Having fought his share of Samoans in bar rooms and taverns
before, the beer-fueled Sandman claimed that he would be more than happy to come head-to-head with the undefeated savage
in less than two weeks at the most interactive event of the year.

On an extreme Halloween night full of both tricks and treats, Paul Heyman utilized his authority to assist ECW World
Champion Big Show in seizing a crucial advantage over Rob Van Dam. By the end of the night, Heyman demonstrated his power
in the Land of the Extreme and, days before the Champion of Champions Match at Cyber Sunday, he proved that when it comes
to the Extreme Giant’s ECW World Title, he isn’t monkeying around. To kick off the evening, the self-proclaimed Messiah
announced that he would, in fact, honor Van Dam’s title opportunity at December to Dismember but under Heyman’s terms. By
Heyman’s command, RVD would vie for the ECW World Title on Dec. 3 in the first-ever Extreme Elimination Chamber Match.
With RVD now being one of six men in an unspeakably hostile match of this kind, the odds have been amply stacked against
Van Dam. This torment would continue on ECW on Sci Fi as RVD was aligned with the explosive Hardcore Holly to battle the
team of the Extreme Giant and Test. Given the recent rivalry between RVD and Holly, it seemed that Heyman had yet again
found a way to unhinge the ECW Original’s momentum. The two teams met in the main event on Sci Fi as RVD and Holly proved
to be able to set aside their differences to forge a formidable unit against the World’s Largest Athlete and the Impact
Player. Just as it seemed that the two unlikely partners might pull together and earn a victory in front of a crowd of
costumed ECW fans, one fan in a gorilla suit came out of the crowd towards the ring. With RVD on the outside of the ring,
the ape crept up and struck Van Dam across the back of his skull with a lead pipe, enabling Big Show to deliver a
chokeslam inside the ring moments later for the victory. The ECW World Champion, Test and the gorilla stood over the
fallen ECW Original and Holly as the monkey-suited intruder revealed himself to be none other than Paul Heyman himself.
It’s clear Heyman will go to any length to not only obstruct Van Dam’s quest towards the gold but also ruin his career at
every step. As Heyman explained earlier in the night, a series of Extreme Elimination Chamber qualifying matches would
take place to determine which four men would compete alongside RVD for Big Show’s ECW World Title at December to
Dismember. The next man to qualify was Sabu who defeated the bizarre Kevin Thorn in an intense, highly physical
encounter on ECW on Sci Fi.
In addition to the shocking announcement made by Heyman, ECW fans were stunned by the surprise debut of The Great Khali
and Daivari in the Realm of Hardcore on ECW on Sci Fi. After Daivari earned a decisive victory over “The Reject” Shannon
Moore, the colossal Punjabi Giant decimated Moore with a monstrous two-handed chokeslam, sending a resounding and ominous
message to the entire ECW locker room.
Yet another treat for ECW fans on the All Hallow’s Eve edition of ECW
on Sci Fi was the Diva Halloween Costume Contest between Kelly Kelly, Trinity and Ariel. Though Kelly’s CM Punk costume
was popular with ECW fans in attendance, the Wisconsin crowd gave the win to a “caution” tape clad Trinity. Disgusted by
his girlfriend’s costume, Mike Knox marched to the ring and belligerently berated Kelly until CM Punk exploded toward the
ring in her defense. Punk blasted Knox and forced him to retreat to the locker room area. Following this embarrassment, an
irate Knox laid down a challenge to CM Punk for a match next week on ECW on Sci Fi – a challenge eagerly welcomed and
accepted by CM Punk in his weekly Punk Blog.
ECW Original The Sandman made his presence felt on the backside of a passerby dressed as a clown in the locker room

The puppeteer of ECW Paul Heyman pulled very crucial strings on ECW on Sci Fi to bring Rob Van Dam to his knees for the
second week in a row and fully alter the landscape of the Extreme Elimination Chamber Match at December to Dismember. Not
only did Heyman announce that the Chamber would be weapon-filled, but he also extended an open invitation to any ECW, RAW
or SmackDown competitor to fill the sixth and final spot in the contest. The Father of ECW said that any Superstar or
Extremist who “craves success like an insatiable prostitute” can come to ECW on Sci Fi next week to claim their ECW World
Title opportunity on Dec. 3.
Per the "Messiah's" announcement, ECW World Champion Big Show and Heyman himself met RVD and Hardcore Holly in the main
event later that night. To make things worse for Rob Van Dam just weeks before December to Dismember, Hardcore Holly
unexpectedly betrayed and assaulted RVD at the conclusion of ECW on Sci Fi, aligning himself with Heyman. Van Dam went
blow-for-blow with the Extreme Giant for much of the contest until both men were taken off their feet. RVD crawled to a
fresh Holly for the tag and the energized Alabaman exploded into the ring. Just as it seemed like Holly and RVD were in
sync, Holly immediately turned to his already beaten tag partner and laid into him with a series of hard kicks. Then,
Holly retrieved a steel chair from the outside and blasted Van Dam multiple times as a pleased Heyman and Big Show looked
on. An exchange of handshakes between Holly and both Heyman and the ECW Champion told the tale of yet another ruse
orchestrated by ECW’s “Messiah.”
Also on ECW on Sci Fi, CM Punk defeated Mike Knox, and Test pinned Tommy Dreamer in the Extreme Elimination Chamber
qualifying matches. Earning entry into the hardcore structure, the two young, talented and hungry Extremists have an
opportunity to become ECW World Champion as they join Big Show, RVD and Sabu at December to Dismember. With only one spot
remaining in the dreaded Chamber, one can only expect a host of bloodthirsty competitors – Extremists and WWE alike – to
be knocking on Paul Heyman’s office door next Tuesday night.
Speaking of dismemberment, The Great Khali annihilated Little Guido after Daivari pinned the Full-Blooded Italian in the
middle of the ring. For the second week in a row, these newcomers obliterated an Extremist and sent another threatening
message to the entire ECW roster.
Khali and Daivari were not the only two new Extremists to appear on ECW on Sci Fi, as former SmackDown Superstars Elijah
Burke and Sylvester Terkay came to the Land of the Extreme. As the ominous Terkay looked on, Burke addressed the ECW fans
and promised nothing but greatness from “Elijah Burke Productions.” Based on Burke’s words, it seems these hybrid athletes
have arrived on ECW and plan on becoming one of the most formidable pairings in the history of the brand.

ECW was shaken at its hardened core this week with the surprising arrival and impact of SmackDown’s powerhouse Lashley.
By the end of the night, not only would Lashley spear through the ECW World Champion to seize his spot in the Extreme
Elimination Chamber, but he would also claim his position as ECW’s newest Extremist.
At the start of the evening, Paul Heyman prepared to appoint the final Chamber participant as Hardcore Holly made his way
to the ring from the locker room area. It looked as if Heyman would handpick one of his own mercenaries to take the sixth
spot in the Chamber until Lashley interrupted Holly’s march by crashing into him and leaving the Alabaman down and out
backstage. After the attack, the former United States Champion made his way to the ring and was met by the Extreme Giant
in the aisle. Spearing Big Show and driving him to the floor, Lashley demonstrated incredible force and strength, and then
entered the ring. He then signed the contract to be in the most controversial main event in ECW history. With the
World’s Largest Athlete staring directly at the newcomer, Lashley gazed back and ceremoniously held up the ECW World Title
to send a resounding message to Big Show and all other Extremists.
Heyman would not, however, allow Lashley to trump him on ECW’s first time in England. The self-proclaimed Messiah thus
called for Hardcore Holly to meet Lashley one-on-one later in the night – a move that would prove to be yet another
pitfall for Heyman and his associates. Holly came to the ring flanked by Big Show, Test, Heyman and the Private Security
Force, heavily stacking the odds against Lashley. The hard-hitting Lashley exploded through Holly until a massive mugging
ensued that drew Chamber entrants CM Punk, Sabu and Rob Van Dam to the ring to even the odds. Fighting off Heyman’s
henchmen, RVD and Lashley were the last two standing tall in the center of the ring. The final image of ECW on Sci Fi was
one of both competitors staring their December to Dismember rivals directly in the eye.

In his first week on ECW, Lashley wasted no time letting everyone know he had arrived. Not only did he teach Matt Striker
a lesson in brutality, but also made it clear to Big Show that he was coming for the ECW World Title.
Boasting that no one could beat him, especially in an Extreme Elimination Chamber, the Extreme Giant found himself being
interrupted by Lashley. Unable to control his anger after some heated words between the two, Big Show went after the young
challenger. Lashley, however, responded explosively, attacking right back. Will Big Show’s lack of composure
compromise his role as team captain this Sunday at Survivor Series? Can it lead to his team’s demise?
The main event for ECW on Sci Fi saw Rob Van Dam face Hardcore Holly in an Extreme Rules Match. Van Dam has faced
continuous roadblocks from Paul Heyman in his quest to recapture the ECW World Title. At the last minute, Heyman added a
stipulation to the match: if RVD lost, Holly would get his spot in the Extreme Elimination Chamber at December to
Dismember. Without that spot, RVD would have no way of capturing the gold. The men took turns brutalizing each other with
both their fists and a steel chair. After massive carnage on both sides, Rob Van Dam fought back. The embattled Extremist
amazed everyone when he was able to finish off Holly with a devastating Five-Star Frog Splash, securing his shot at the
ECW World Title at December to Dismember.
Making their first tag team appearance in four years, the Hardy Boyz took on the FBI. Looking agile as ever, the
highflying brothers from North Carolina electrified the crowd. The victory over Tony Mamaluke and Little Guido will give
the Hardys some valuable momentum as they head into Survivor Series with DX and ECW’s own, CM Punk.
However, the straightedge Extremist had to deal with his own battles before Sunday. The beautiful Kelly Kelly unexpectedly
cheered CM Punk on to victory over Kevin Thorn. After the match, a scuffle ensued and Kelly wound up in a catfight with
the sultry Ariel. In the end, Kelly and Punk stood tall and shared a hug, much to the dismay of Mike Knox who looked on
from the entranceway.

Just days before December to Dismember this Sunday, all hell is breaking loose in the Land of Extreme. Paul Heyman kicked
off ECW on Sci Fi by explaining that the four pods in the Extreme Elimination Chamber will each contain one Extremist and
one weapon: a steel chair, crowbar, table or a barbwire baseball bat. While it will be every man for himself this Sunday
in the Chamber, the six men would face each other tonight in singles competition, with the main event pitting Lashley
against Big Show.
Using his unbelievable strength, ECW's newest Extremist looked like he would again defeat the champ like he did at
Survivor Series with the help of John Cena. However, Paul Heyman's Security Force and Test ran in and beat Lashley
senseless, resulting in a disqualification. Also, Rob Van Dam defeated fellow ECW Original Sabu, while CM Punk and Test
squared off, but both were counted out.
Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay had a strong showing in their ECW in-ring debut, but it wasn't enough to defeat the high
flying maneuvers of The Hardys. After the bell however, MNM made a surprise visit and attacked Jeff and Matt from behind,
leaving the brothers laid out while the Hollywood darlings mocked them. Monday night on Raw, MNM answered The Hardys' open
challenge to any tag team in the world for a match at this Sunday's December to Dismember.

On ECW on Sci Fi, Lashley proved that he is worthy of the ECW World Championship. Early in the night, Big Show said
Lashley couldn't beat him one-on-one. He claimed the only reason Lashley won at December to Dismember was that the former
champ had to fight off five extremists with weapons. Although Big Show was dominant for most of the match, Lashley proved
the Extreme Giant's sentiment wrong when he kicked out of the Chokeslam then hoisted Big Show over his head in a
demonstration of brute strength. Lashley pinned him to retain the ECW World Title.
The four other competitors from Sunday's Extreme Elimination Chamber Match faced off in tag team action. Still visibly
banged up from the Chamber's brutalities, Rob Van Dam and CM Punk teamed together against Test and Hardcore Holly. RVD and
Punk dedicated their match to Sabu, who was unable to compete Sunday after being attacked in the locker room area. Holly
was about to tap out to CM Punk's Anaconda Vice when the Security Force stormed the ring. The henchmen attacked the
straight-edge Extremist until Sabu unexpectedly rushed in with a chair. With one arm in a sling from Sunday's attack, Sabu
flung the chair wildly. CM Punk joined in and retaliated against one of the Security Force members, giving him the
Anaconda Vice. RVD followed up with a Five-Star Frogsplash, and Sabu finished him off with an Atomic Arabian Facebuster.
Kelly Kelly and Ariel continued their rivalry. Although Ariel took the early advantage, Kelly rolled up the sultry
succubus for the win. After the match, Kelly's boyfriend Mike Knox came to the ring with red roses and apologized on
bended knee. At December to Dismember, he left her to fend for herself against Kevin Thorn and Ariel. Knox explained that
it was a mistake and begged for forgiveness. Kelly accepted his outstretched hand, but Knox changed his tune and said he
was sorry he had waited so long to dump her. Then he pelted her in the face with the roses and laid her out with a
Spinning Reverse STO.
Tommy Dreamer came to the ring for his match with Daivari with a taped shoulder. Sunday, The Great Khali Chokeslammed the
ECW Original on the unforgiving steel stage. In the match, Daivari worked on Dreamer's injured shoulder, but Dreamer was
able to rally back with the support of ECW fans who were cheering him on. After the match, Khali came out and Chokeslammed
Dreamer on a steel chair.

Lashley’s one-man mission continued this week on ECW on Sci Fi against two men of another mission, as the fighting ECW
World Champion faced Paul Heyman’s Private Security Force in a Handicap Match. Even in a 2-on-1 situation, the new
champion used his incredible strength and raw force to overcome his masked opponents and avoid a post-match attack by the
Security Force. Lashley used one of his opponents’ own batons against them and left the black clad guards dismantled –
proving that nothing can stand in this Extremist’s way. Dominating the last few remnants of the “Messiah’s”
administration, Lashley may have finally closed the lid on Heyman’s regime.
In other action, the Extreme Elimination Chamber fallout continued as Rob Van Dam met ECW’s Impact Player Test. This
blow-for-blow encounter culminated as Test used the ring ropes as leverage in a pinfall situation, stealing a victory from
RVD.
Also on ECW on Sci Fi, CM Punk faced Hardcore Holly in a gritty, smash-mouth confrontation. Holly lost the match by
disqualification for using a closed fist and ignoring the referee’s count. The battle continued after the bell rang as
Punk retaliated and forced Holly to tap to the Anaconda Vise.
Other Extremists made their presence felt on this week’s edition of ECW on Sci Fi as well. Matt Striker shared a very
special lesson with ECW fans by inviting Balls Mahoney to the head of the class. The result of the Extreme Educator’s
insults led to Balls taking exception – and Striker landing a low-blow to take the ECW Original down.
Finally, Tommy Dreamer called out The Great Khali and laid out a challenge that was answered by Daivari. Dreamer picked up
a victory but received yet another chokeslam on the hard arena floor from Khali in the aftermath. In addition, the
“knockout/tap-out connection” Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay had a special message for Extremists.

It was a bittersweet night on ECW on Sci Fi for Rob Van Dam who came up short in a Triple Threat Match against Test and
Sabu, but was selected by ECW fans to battle Lashley for the ECW World Title on January 2nd. Van Dam met his fellow ECW.com
poll candidates in a Triple Threat Match in the main event of ECW on Sci Fi. In a classic ECW confrontation between three
of the brand’s top performers, RVD looked to be on his way to victory with a Five-Star Frog Splash until the
self-proclaimed Impact Player managed to steal RVD's pin on Sabu and outshine the two ECW Originals. To Test’s dismay,
just moments after his victory, the revelation was made that Van Dam received the most votes on ECW.com. An outraged Test
charged at RVD and bludgeoned him with a big boot to the head, knocking him cold. Test may have won the contest and left
RVD down, but the ECW fans have spoken and Van Dam will challenge Lashley for his title.
As Lashley explained at the very start of the show, the ECW World Champion has a target on his chest and he is more than
committed to defending his gold. He also talked about his pride in participating in this year's WWE Tribute to the Troops
until Rene Dupree came to the ring and insulted the U.S. Armed Forces. A fighting champion, Lashley proved that he
lives for challenge by dominating Rene Dupree this week, but he will need to be prepared for absolutely anything when
he steps into the ring with RVD in two weeks with the ECW World Title at stake.
The action on ECW on Sci Fi was greater – and larger – than ever this week as The Great Khali made his in-ring debut in
the Land of the Extreme. After Daivari coaxed “The Reject” Shannon Moore into a singles match earlier in the night, the
loudmouthed Extremist later stepped aside for Khali to decimate Moore. Suddenly, Tommy Dreamer came to ringside toting a
steel chair and blasted Daivari. Khali immediately came to his associate's defense and leveled Dreamer, dropping the
fearless ECW Original with a two-handed chokeslam atop the steel ring steps. As the audience stood in awe of
Khali's savagery, EMTs flooded the ringside area and carted Dreamer out on a stretcher.
The war between CM Punk and Hardcore Holly escalated this week as the Alabaman challenged Punk to try to force Holly to
tap out within just three minutes. With just seconds left on the clock, Punk locked in the Anaconda Vise but Holly
resisted the urge to tap – unlike the week before. As Punk released the hold at the referee’s plea, Holly recovered and
attacked the straightedge competitor from behind, leaving Punk down and out.
ECW on Sci Fi was paid a visit by a very special guest in Brad Armstrong of the legendary Armstrong family. Sitting beside
Tazz and Joey Styles during a match between Balls Mahoney and Matt Striker, Armstrong's unique insight brought a different
color to the ECW announce team. During that contest, Striker’s lesson plan continued as he scored a controversial win over
Balls.
Much like the obnoxious Extreme Educator, the bully Mike Knox was ill-received by ECW fans this week as well. For the
first time since his reprehensible physical attack on Kelly Kelly, Knox expressed his feelings on what many consider one
of the ugliest break-ups in television history.
