The first edition of ECW on Sci Fi in 2007 ended with an unbelievable crash that rocked the Land of the Extreme as the
bodies of both the ECW World Champion Lashley and Rob Van Dam were taken to the absolute limit. A valiant champion,
Lashley retained the gold against Van Dam, who proved yet again that he is willing to put his body on the line for the ECW
World Title. Though Lashley emerged with the championship, no man’s hand was raised at the close of this contest. In Van
Dam’s first one-on-one championship opportunity since being screwed out of the gold six months ago, the challenger
countered the champion’s size and strength advantage with speed and agility. After several minutes of punishing and
exhaustive combat, the two fought to the outside where Van Dam prepared to land an aerial attack on Lashley’s body as it
lay strewn across the announce table. Lashley stood up in time, leaving RVD with just enough time to recalculate his
strategy and deliver a high-risk maneuver to the champion from the apron. This proved to be the final blow that would
incapacitate the Extremists. Seeing the unbelievable wreckage at ringside, the referee was compelled to end the dream
match that so many ECW fans voted for on ECW.com just weeks ago. Thus, the clash between these two extreme titans, Lashley
and the man selected by ECW fans to battle for the gold, RVD, came to a tumultuous close.
One man who was certainly watching the collision for the ECW World Title was ECW’s Impact Player Test. One of the three
candidates in the ECW.com poll to determine Lashley’s opponent, Test lost the vote but defeated Sabu and RVD in a Triple
Threat Match weeks ago. This week, the embittered, ruthless Extremist told the ECW fans that he did not need their support
and promised to make impact – which he did by defeating Sabu one-on-one.
Another man hand for this unbelievable battle for the ECW World Title was Vladimir Kozlov who has been seen on Raw and
SmackDown over the last several weeks. Interviewed by Tazz, Kozlov expressed his appreciation for the extreme style of
ECW, yet confidently claimed that he – a Russian Mixed Martial Arts champion – could beat both Lashley and Van Dam.
It was a rocky start to the New Year for Sabu, but another ECW Original Tommy Dreamer made a pledge via satellite to
retaliate against The Great Khali in 2007. After Khali laid Dreamer out weeks ago, the recuperating Extremist vowed to
come back from this beating and chop down the Punjabi giant once and for all.
ECW fans learned that after weeks of amassed animosity, Hardcore Holly and CM Punk will meet in singles competition live
next Tuesday night. With Holly standing by, Matt Striker provided an informative lesson about next week’s edition of ECW
on Sci Fi as he declared that the rugged Alabaman would teach a lesson of his own to Punk.
The “Knock-Out/Tap-Out Connection” Elijah Burke and Sylvester Terkay brutalized the F.B.I. in tag team action. Assaulting
the two Paesans with a barrage of hard blows from Burke and mauling holds from Terkay, the duo won as the man-bear forced
Tony Mamaluke to tap out.
Former rivals came face-to-face as Kevin Thorn defeated Balls Mahoney with a fiendish charging elbow to the
jaw, while ring veteran Brad Armstrong again sat alongside Joey Styles and Tazz on commentary.

For the second week in a row, the ECW World Title Match between Lashley and Rob Van Dam came to a controversial close –
this week, thanks to the wrath of the embittered Impact Player, Test. Both men sharing equal respect for one another,
Lashley and RVD picked up right where they left off last week, waging an arduous in-ring war on ECW on Sci Fi. RVD used a
fast-paced aerial assault in an attempt to weaken the powerhouse champion. The tenacious and resilient Lashley, however,
endured Van Dam’s offense and exploded with his own. After the battle spilled to the outside and Lashley evaded a
high-risk maneuver from RVD, the champion speared his way through the challenger. But, before Lashley could seize the win,
Test stormed the ring and assailed both men with a steel chair. As the referee ended the match to the disapproval of the
ECW fans, the self-proclaimed “Most Ruthless Competitor in ECW” stood over the fallen bodies of both RVD and Lashley,
pleased with his impact.
Earlier in the night, Test expressed his disgust in Van Dam receiving yet another championship opportunity against
Lashley. In protest of being overlooked as the deserving No. 1 contender, Test refused to be in action and appeared to
leave the building. As ECW fans would see at the close of ECW on Sci Fi, “God’s Gift to ECW” had other plans in store for
Tuesday night.
ECW fans witnessed the culmination of the venomous rivalry between the tough, fearless Tommy Dreamer and The Great Khali
in an Extreme Rules Match. In his final commitment on ECW, Raw’s Punjabi warrior battled the man he nearly crippled weeks
ago. Death wish or not, Dreamer made a promise to come back and confront Khali man-to-monster, and he did just that.
Still, extreme weaponry and all, Dreamer could not manage to stop his gigantic foe. Deflecting Dreamer’s swing of a baking
sheet with his bare hand, Khali lowered his opponent with a chokebomb and pinned Dreamer. Khali may have left Peoria, Ill.
as the victor, but as Dreamer lifted himself back to his feet after the match, he proved that though he may be knocked
down, absolutely nothing will keep him from getting back up.
The much anticipated confrontation between CM Punk and Hardcore Holly resulted in Punk’s first loss on ECW on Sci Fi. Not
intimidated by the smash-mouth veteran, Punk brought the fight to Holly and nearly trapped him within the inescapable
clutch of the Anaconda Vise. The Alabaman avoided the submission hold and after the straightedge Extremist crashed into
the steel ring post, Holly landed the Alabama Slam for the win.
Elijah Burke of the “Knock-Out/Tap-Out Connection” came to the ECW arena to boast of his unique fighting talents, but this
time, a single ECW Original came to test Burke’s claims. With Singapore cane in hand, Sandman gave Elijah Burke an
“experience” of his own, and sent the brash Extremist packing.
ECW on Sci Fi viewers learned Tuesday night that the exhibitionist Kelly Kelly would make her ECW return next week. The
irresistible Diva has not been seen since Mike Knox publicly dumped – and assaulted – her on Dec. 5. Could we be in store
for an uncensored exposé with Knox out of the picture?

ECW World Champion Lashley may have retained the gold on ECW on Sci Fi, but perhaps the greatest impact of the night was
made by Test who not only leveled Lashley with his own title, but stood over the champion’s debilitated body for the
second week in a row. Just seven days after Test blatantly interfered in the dream match between Lashley and RVD, ECW’s
Impact Player was legal in a Triple Threat Match – where the odds are never in the champion’s favor. From bell to bell,
the match was a sheer volatile confrontation. Ultimately, the back-and-forth exposition of ECW’s finest drew to a close as
the “Most Ruthless Competitor in ECW” felt the full weight of RVD’s propelled body – in the form of a Five-Star Frog
Splash. Almost instinctively, after the blow, Test’s aching body rolled to the outside where he recovered. As RVD turned
his attention from the ailing Test, Lashley capitalized with a spear to Van Dam and gained the pinfall after a subsequent
powerslam that nearly drove RVD through the mat. While Lashley celebrated, Test seized the ECW World Title and lured the
champion outside the ring to reclaim it. As Lashley approached the Impact Player, Test blasted him over the head, knocking
him out cold and sending him to the arena floor. To add further insult, Test then gripped the championship in his covetous
hands and screamed violently in Lashley’s face, telling him that his gold would soon belong to the Impact Player.
ECW on Sci Fi became a realm of hunter and prey as “The Alpha Male” Marquis Cor Von left the Animal Kingdom and arrived in
the Land of the Extreme. Dismantling his opponent in his debut match this week, the beastly specimen known as “The Alpha
Male” made ECW his jungle and bellowed a fierce warning to all Extremists.
The luscious bombshell Kelly Kelly certainly got an “A” for her efforts on ECW on Sci Fi. Back in an ECW arena, Kelly
promised the return of her highly popular exposé next week. Now single, the Diva began to preview next Tuesday’s
titillating exhibition until Matt Striker interrupted and scolded the sexy student. Following Striker’s patronizing
lecture, Kelly’s favorite Extremist – and rumored crush – CM Punk came to ring for his match with the Extreme Educator
while the Diva cheered on from ringside. At the conclusion of the contest, Kelly stood on the apron and flashed a gawking
Striker who seemed to take some extensive mental notes on physical education. With a little help from Kelly, Punk was able
to pass the Tuesday night exam while the flabbergasted teacher was forced to flunk.
Sandman picked up where he – and his Singapore cane – left off last Tuesday as the Extremist faced Elijah Burke. At the
start of the match, the man-bear ate a piece of bamboo as Sandman used his weapon to whack Sylvester Terkay over his
massive skull. Still, Burke endured his extreme experience with Sandman as he used a handful of denim to pin his opponent
and emerge with a confident smirk.
ECW on Sci Fi viewers learned that the ECW Original Tommy Dreamer and Kevin Thorn have been added as participants in this
year’s Royal Rumble Match. Thorn described his lust as extending beyond blood and to WrestleMania – but first, the macabre
marauder meets 29 other men at the Rumble.

In what could very well be a preview to Sunday`s ECW World Title Match at the Royal Rumble, Lashley got the best of Test
live on ECW on Sci Fi. A fiery ECW World Champion sent a brutal message to the Impact Player just days before their
championship encounter at the Rumble. Following the Impact Player`s ruthless and brain-rattling assault on Lashley with
the champion`s own title, Lashley was intent on retaliation. The "Most Ruthless Competitor in ECW" attempted to use the
exposed steel beneath the turnbuckle pad, as well as a steel chair to floor the champion. Lashley, however, avoided these
tactics and ultimately speared Test down, creasing the ring mat. The ECW World Champion`s relentless barrage continued on
the outside where he slung Test`s body into the steel steps, then followed up with a running powerslam in the ring for the
pin. The ECW World Champion demonstrated why he bears the gold on ECW on Sci Fi and if Test has any hopes of seizing the
title, the Impact Player will need to regroup and recalculate before this Sunday.
Another man who needed to recalculate tonight was Hardcore Holly. After having his opportunity to battle Lashley usurped
by Test, an unhappy Holly confronted the Impact Player before the main event and the "Alabama Slamma" promised to get what
he deserves - the ECW World Title- one way or another.
In preparation for the most star-studded - and extreme- Royal Rumble Match in history, five of the 30 combatants in
Sunday`s battle met in an Over-the-Top-Rope Challenge. Mere days before they represent the ECW brand at the Rumble, Rob
Van Dam, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Kevin Thorn all honed their survival skills on Sci Fi. The high-flier, Sabu, did
just that as he flew over the top rope and to the floor, taking Dreamer out with him. After Thorn tossed Sandman, it came
down to the vampiric Extremist and RVD - who succeeded in besting Thorn for the victory.
Away from the more grueling face of ECW, the more sultry side of the realm of hardcore came out in the form of Kelly
Kelly`s "Extreme Expose." Flanked by Layla and new Diva Brooke, the blonde bombshell Kelly has corralled some of the
Sexiest Women on TV to forge the sexiest dance group ever.
Class was in session on Tuesday night as well as the Extreme Educator instructed his pupils from a unique forum in the
commentary booth beside Tazz and Joey Styles. As Striker looked on from ringside, CM Punk had a positive "experience" with
Elijah Burke by pinning the brazen Extremist in the middle of the ring.
Marcus Cor Von punished his opponent for the second week in a row on ECW on Sci Fi with a charging body tackle and then a
lethal submission hold. Before vanquishing his opposition, Cor Von exclaimed that everyone in ECW will learn that they
will either step aside or get run over by "The Alpha Male."

On the first extreme stop of the Road to WrestleMania, ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley was victorious over Test for the
third time in two weeks, but the champion`s celebration was curtailed by the menacing gong that signaled the grim
appearance of The Phenom. Moments after Lashley exploded through Test, Undertaker arrived and buried the Impact Player`s
bruised body into the ECW mat with a chokeslam. The 2007 Royal Rumble winner then stood eye-to-eye with ECW`s
fighting champion, who stood unwavering in the haunting face of the Deadman. The final image ECW fans were left with on
Tuesday night was Lashley peering deep into the ominous eyes of the individual who might be the next challenger for his
ECW World Title. Monday night on Raw, Undertaker appeared to have possibly targeted WWE Champion John Cena as his opponent
at WrestleMania 23. Could Undertaker have the intentions of facing Lashley for ECW gold on April 1? Or could it even be
SmackDown`s own World Heavyweight Champion Batista?
If the live sold-out crowd in Houston couldn`t appreciate the unexpected arrival of The Phenom, they may have enjoyed Mr.
McMahon`s heralded first-ever appearance on ECW on Sci Fi. The WWE Chairman made his way to the Land of the Extreme to
continue his brand of fan appreciation, but he certainly didn`t seem to appreciate the backbone of ECW: its Originals. In
fact, he said they - and anything having to do with the original ECW - "suck." As he prepared to make a few changes in
ECW, Mr. McMahon`s disparaging interaction with Sandman, Sabu and others didn`t seem to leave a delightful taste in the
mouth of the Extremists. Later, when the Chairman exposed ECW fans to the man he called "the future of ECW" - Elijah
Burke - a slighted throng of Originals took extreme exception. After Burke and McMahon posed for a photo opportunity,
Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Balls Mahoney and Sandman all swarmed the ring and leveled the McMahon-endorsed, brash Burke. Though
it was arguably the biggest night in Burke`s young career thus far, ultimately, Burke learned a very valuable (and
painful) lesson in the roots of ECW.
Coming off an arduous fight in the 30-man Royal Rumble Match, Rob Van Dam collided with Hardcore Holly. The Alabaman
Extremist endured every kick RVD could muster and after slamming Van Dam shoulder first into the steel ring post, Holly
executed the Alabama Slam for the victory - just as he did weeks ago against CM Punk.
Speaking of the straightedge Extremist, Punk suffered the ill fate of injustice on ECW on Sci Fi as Matt Striker used the
ring ropes to earn a tainted victory over Punk.
The Sexiest Women on TV heated things up on Tuesday night as ECW Die Hards were teased by the hot steps of Kelly Kelly,

MAKING TROUBLE
Mr. McMahon promised that the ECW Originals would be in trouble, but even after their suffering on ECW on Sci Fi, it
seems as if the rebellious ECW mainstays won’t be going to the proverbial Principal’s office without a fight. One night
after Mr. McMahon had Umaga make an example of Balls Mahoney on Raw, the Chairman assembled the quintet of Mahoney, Rob
Van Dam, Sabu, Sandman and Tommy Dreamer in the ring. He reiterated that they “suck” and told them that some of them would
be in action, but if any Original touched an official or got involved in another’s match, they would be fired.
The first match for the Originals saw Tommy Dreamer take on Kevin Thorn. Matt Striker began a busy night as the match’s
guest referee, and his officiating cost Dreamer the match. Dreamer looked to have Thorn beat after a modified powerbomb,
but an apparent knee injury kept Striker from counting. However, when Thorn used him as a prop to take Dreamer down
moments later, Striker was somehow able to make the three-count. Mr. McMahon was shown watching in his office, seemingly
pleased with the result.
Later, Striker was the guest timekeeper as a still-injured Mahoney took on Marcus Cor Von; The Alpha Male won easily with
a Cobra Clutch, and Mr. McMahon was once again seen in his office smiling broadly as Striker clapped at ringside. Striker
then went on to interrupt Extreme Expose, revealing that he was the special guest ring announcer for the main event.
Before introducing participants Rob Van Dam and Elijah Burke, however, he introduced the guest commentator (Cor Von) and
timekeeper (Thorn). Striker also reminded everyone that anyone other than the involved ringside officials that got
involved in the match would be fired by order of Mr. McMahon. Once again, Striker (along with the rest of the “new breed”)
cost an Original the match. After RVD hit the Five-Star Frog Splash, Thorn rang the bell loudly. Both RVD and the referee
were caught off guard, and Burke used the distraction to give RVD a low blow. He then covered Van Dam for the three-
count, and Striker happily announced him as the winner. Striker, Thorn and Cor Von entered the ring after the final bell,
ganging up for a 4-on-1 attack on RVD. At that point, the Originals finally had enough, as Dreamer, Sabu and Sandman
stormed the ring with chairs and a Singapore cane in tow. They used their signature weapons to send the new breed
scurrying, finally standing tall as the night came to an end. Have we seen the first shots of a vicious war between the
ECW Originals and Mr. McMahon’s new breed of extreme?
ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley was also in action, taking on Hardcore Holly in a non-title match. The champion was able
to win the grueling match with a powerslam, but was unable to enjoy his victory. Following the match, Snitsky made a
shocking appearance to attack the champion. The clean-shaven monster leveled Lashley with a clothesline and a Big Boot
before feeding him to Holly for a vicious Alabama Slam. Snitsky and Holly gloated as they left the ring, while Lashley was
left to pick up the pieces. Has a new alliance been formed, and will it finally be the combination that slows down Bobby
Lashley?

WELL-BRED
The unlikely quartet of Elijah Burke, Matt Striker, Marcus Cor Von and Kevin Thorn must have made Mr. McMahon proud on
Tuesday night as the New Breed managed to finally get the best of the ECW Originals on ECW on Sci Fi. With a pair of
victories over ECW’s founding Extremists, the New Breed may have gotten several steps closer to eradicating the Original
ECW’s legacy from modern-day sports-entertainment.
In two tag team encounters, the New Breed combined their individual propensities for underhanded strategy to rebound from
last week’s embarrassment at the hands of the ECW Originals. Early in the night, the relentless Tommy Dreamer and
cane-swinging Sandman battled the unique tandem of Marcus Cor Von and Kevin Thorn in the first of two tag matches. Dreamer
and Sandman took one hell of a fight to the New Breed combatants, but Thorn and Cor Von used their size and power
advantage – and Thorn’s skull-adorned walking stick – to defeat the Originals.
Cor Von and Thorn would resurface later as
their comrades Elijah Burke – the McMahon-endorsed “future of ECW” – and Matt Striker battled Sabu and Rob Van Dam in
other tag action. Weeks ago, Sabu drove Burke through a table with a leg drop from the top rope. Just as Sabu and other
Originals started the war weeks back, the Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac intended on finishing the
war this week alongside the former ECW World Champion RVD.
The Originals brought their brand of extreme to their young rivals until an overzealous Sabu misconnected with the ropes
during an intricate offensive move. Burke capitalized and stole the victory, but given the New Breed’s tainted success
against their Original Extremist counterparts on ECW on Sci Fi, it’s safe to suspect that the war is far from over.
In addition to the conflict between the Originals and the New Breed, ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley earned a decisive
and hard-fought victory over Hardcore Holly this week in the champ's first-ever Extreme Rules Match. Months ago, Holly
established himself in ECW by enduring one of the grisliest Extreme Rules battles ever seen by competing with 24 stitches
worth of wound in his back. Not intimidated, Lashley sought retribution following last week’s post-match attack from the
Alabaman Extremist and the monstrous Snitsky. Ultimately, Lashley endured a grueling weapons-filled contest to once again
prove why he is ECW’s flag-bearer, but the champion’s night wouldn’t end there. After his match, Lashley met SmackDown
General Manager Theodore Long in the locker room area. Long expressed how proud he has been watching Lashley achieve such
accolades in the Land of the Extreme. The GM then extended a warm invitation to Lashley’s original stomping grounds:
Friday Night SmackDown. Lashley agreed to head back to where it all started for him, but what will the ECW World
Champion’s visit mean to the SmackDown Superstars?
One man who might be watching Lashley’s Friday night visit away from ECW is the deranged Snitsky. After leveling the ECW
World Champion the week before on his ECW on Sci Fi debut, the newest Extremist made his mark yet again on Tuesday night –
this time on CM Punk. Just moments after Punk scored a win over his longtime rival Mike Knox, Snitsky charged to the
ring – just as he had the week before – and dropped the straightedge competitor with a damaging boot to the head.

With the Land of the Extreme flooded by irreverent New Breeders and Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown, Extremists who
proudly carry the flag of the extreme brand proved to be dominant on ECW on Sci Fi.
The foremost impressive display of dominance took place in the main event on Tuesday night as ECW World Champion Bobby
Lashley held his own against two gold-hungry competitors – Mr. Kennedy and Hardcore Holly – in a Triple Threat Match. In
this type of contest, Lashley’s title was in serious jeopardy as the champion could lose the gold without even being
pinned. The ECW World Champion was also facing the man who beat him by disqualification days before at No Way Out in
Kennedy, as well as the wily, rugged veteran Holly. With the help of a steel chair, the Alabaman Extremist was within
inches of beating Lashley until Kennedy interrupted the referee’s pinfall count. The SmackDown star then tried to use the
same chair on the champion who foresaw the attack and ducked, causing Kennedy to blast Holly. Lashley then capitalized,
taking the fight to Kennedy and driving him to the mat with a running powerslam. Days after he nearly crippled Kennedy with
a steel chair, the fighting champion pinned Kennedy in front of a sold-out crowd to silence the loudmouth from Green Bay
and retain his title.
In yet another inter-promotional contest on ECW territory, CM Punk became the first Extremist to secure his position at
WrestleMania 23 by defeating Johnny Nitro in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. Joining Raw qualifier Edge, the
straightedge Extremist who craves competition will find just that on April 1 in the 6-man Ladder Match. With an open
contract for a World Championship match suspended above the ring, Money in the Bank could be just the opportunity CM Punk
needs to reach the pinnacle of ECW.
Another proud Extremist, Rob Van Dam, also gained some much-needed momentum for the ECW Originals by besting Kevin Thorn in
singles action. This week, Thorn made his way to the ring with more than just Ariel by his side. The macabre Extremist and
his fellow New Breed members came to the ring where they proclaimed their unity and selected Thorn to represent them in
action tonight. This drew out the ECW Originals who chose RVD to engage the morbid New Breed representative. With both
camps looking on from either side of the ring, the match turned to bedlam as the New Breed attacked RVD, forcing the
Originals to defend their ally. After ECW officials finally managed to clear the ringside area and send all non-competing
Originals and New Breeders to the locker room area, Van Dam went head-to-head with his unorthodox opponent and slayed the
vampire with an incredible Five-Star Frog Splash.
Finally, the Land of the Extreme enhanced its foreign relations policy with the arrival of former World Tag Team Champions
La Resistance. Claiming to be the “greatest tag team of all time,” the pair showcased their talents in action on ECW on Sci
Fi by making extremely quick work of their opponents.
Just moments after Sylvan and Rene Dupree earned their first ECW victory, the unstable Snitsky made his way to the ring.
Picking the bones of La Resistance’s defeated opponents, the deranged monster left not one, but two men incapacitated on

Heading into the ECW on Sci Fi main event, ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley appeared to have all the odds stacked high
against him – from Mr. McMahon to steel cages to Hardcore Holly, and even the Samoan Bulldozer. But as Lashley has proven
on countless occasions, odds are not something he fears – odds are something he beats. Mr. McMahon was the hand behind
those stacked odds this week on ECW on Sci Fi. Just 24 hours earlier, Donald Trump revealed that Lashley would be “The
Donald’s” representative in the Battle of the Billionaires against the WWE Chairman at WrestleMania. This would propel Mr.
McMahon on a mission to make the ECW World Champion’s life “a living hell.” The Chairman’s quest seemed to materialize as
he announced that if Lashley could not defeat his opponent, Hardcore Holly, in a Steel Cage Match in less than five
minutes, Holly would be awarded the ECW World Title. The unrelenting champion, however, would not be intimidated, only
motivated by this stipulation. As soon as the bell rang for the first Steel Cage Match in ECW on Sci Fi history, Lashley
brought the attack to Holly. As if the confines of the chain-link cage and the threat of the wily Alabaman weren’t enough,
the ECW World Champion was then confronted by his WrestleMania opponent, Umaga who came to ringside with Mr. McMahon
himself. Just before the five minute mark, Lashley managed to powerslam his way through the challenger to secure yet
another victory sending Umaga into a frenzy at ringside. As the Samoan Bulldozer stood outside the steel encaged ring,
Lashley charged at the cage wall, exploding through it and crushing the 300-pounder beneath the wreckage. Ultimately, ECW
came to a close with the Chairman and ECW fans looking on in awe – and, for McMahon, serious anxiety – at the unfathomable
power of the ECW World Champion.
Elsewhere in the Land of the Extreme, the qualifying matches for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match continued as Mr.
Kennedy defeated Sabu in an Extreme Rules Match. While the ECW Original fell to the SmackDown Superstar on extreme
territory, fellow Money in the Bank participant CM Punk gained some WrestleMania momentum with a win over Stevie Richards
on ECW on Sci Fi. “I’ve been known as the man who is single-handedly changing Friday nights,” Kennedy told WWE.com. “Now,
I’m changing Tuesday nights on ECW on Sci Fi. And at WrestleMania, the Money in the Bank Ladder Match opportunity is
something I’m definitely going to capitalize on. I will be the next World Heavyweight Champion.”
The conflict between the ECW Originals and the New Breed continued to escalate in a pair of matches live on Sci Fi. As the
team of Kevin Thorn and Marcus Cor Von waged war with Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer, it seemed the corner support for both
factions would have serious implications on the outcome. Thorn’s sinful succubus Ariel attempted to pass her macabre man
his walking stick only to receive a Singapore cane lashing from Sandman. However, in the midst of this melee, Elijah Burke
was able to provide an assist and help the New Breed to get the best of the ECW Originals.
Balls Mahoney brought in a disqualification “victory” for the Originals camp over Matt Striker when Snitsky made another
merciless cameo. After Snitsky devoured Mahoney, he suddenly turned his sights to the Extreme Educator who also suffered a
most agonizing fate.

Glass broke, beer cans got cracked and all hell was raised in the Land of the Extreme as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin made his
first-ever appearance on ECW on Sci Fi. Trumping Mr. McMahon’s surprise appearance on ECW on Tuesday night, the Battle of
the Billionaires special guest referee promised to be present at the contract signing between Donald Trump and the WWE
Chairman this coming Monday on Raw. Just before throwing back several six-packs with the ECW Die Hards, Austin explained
that he will have no bias at WrestleMania 23 because he doesn’t like Mr. McMahon, Trump or any billionaire. He also said he
has no problem dropping a Stunner on Lashley or Umaga if he needs to. Ultimately, the Texas Rattlesnake "guaran-damn-teed"
that be it the Chairman or “The Donald,” he will make sure that a billionaire will leave Ford Field bald on April 1. Less

on Sci Fi with a purpose on Tuesday night. Just as he had on SmackDown the week before, Mr. McMahon came to offer Donald
Trump’s representative Bobby Lashley the opportunity to back out before WrestleMania 23. Demanding Lashley’s apology as
well, the Chairman audaciously replayed – numerous times – the SmackDown footage of him slapping the ECW World Champion.
This exposition came to a close, however, as a cool, unfazed Lashley confronted the maniacal McMahon in the middle of the
ECW ring. As the champion extended his hand to the egocentric Chairman, it seemed Lashley was actually making a deal with
McMahon and backing out of the WrestleMania clash. Suddenly, the ECW World Champion’s expression changed from a warm smile
to a hostile, intense glare and the handshake between the two turned into a painful encounter for McMahon, who was brought
to his knees. “If you ever, ever lay a hand on me again, I will break you in half,” said a fierce Lashley to the agonized
Chairman.
With the “Biggest Spectacle of Them All” being just three weeks away, the stakes were raised in the conflict between the
ECW Originals and the New Breed. After Rob Van Dam Five-Star Frog Splashed his way through the brash Elijah Burke, Tommy
Dreamer laid down an emotional challenge to the New Breed at WrestleMania 23. In eight-man tag action, Dreamer, RVD,
Sandman and Sabu will collide with Marcus Cor Von, Matt Striker, Kevin Thorn and Elijah Burke live in Detroit on April 1.
Before they head to WrestleMania, it seems the New Breed might be attempting to add some recruits to their ranks. Prior to
his match with RVD, Elijah Burke tried to persuade Money in the Bank participant CM Punk to align with the New Breed.
Though Punk didn't appear interested in this proposal, it looks as if the services of the straightedge Superstar are a hot
commodity in the Land of the Extreme.
The deranged Snitsky continued to ravage the ECW roster. After Hardcore Holly secured a decisive victory over Balls
Mahoney, Snitsky stormed the ring just as he has for the past several weeks. The monstrous competitor proved to have no
allegiance to anyone as he set his sights on the wily Alabaman, nearly decapitating Holly with a big boot.

ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley has been in Mr. McMahon’s crosshairs since he accepted Donald Trump’s offer to represent
him against The Chairman’s Umaga at WrestleMania 23’s Battle of the Billionaires. Tonight on ECW on Sci Fi, Lashley
overcame yet another challenge by the egomaniacal billionaire, but this time with the inadvertent help of the bickering
Rated-RKO. On the heels of Lashley’s vow to break Mr. McMahon in half – and his Rated-RKO tag team partner’s qualification
for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania – Edge approached McMahon on Raw and volunteered Randy Orton’s
services in teaching the ECW World Champion a lesson. But Edge, who is also competing in the Money in the Bank Match,
appeared to have ulterior motives. He persuaded McMahon to include a stipulation that Orton would lose his WrestleMania
spot if he failed to show up for the match. Orton was outraged, but showed up for the encounter with Lashley. He demanded
that Edge give him backup in his match. Edge insisted he had Orton's back, but hardly did anything to help his former
World Tag Team Champion partner. The Rated-R Superstar was ejected for blatant interference in front of the referee
halfway into the match. He flashed a curious, devious grin as he left ringside, sparking speculation that perhaps he may
have gotten himself ejected on purpose. The momentum between ECW World Champion and Orton briefly swung back and forth. The
cocky Orton, angered by Edge's ejection, channeled his frustration to take the advantage over Lashley, but the valiant
champion battled back and finished Orton off with his trademark Dominator running powerslam. Lashley's victory brought out
a seething Mr. McMahon and the two engaged in an intense staredown at the close of ECW on Sci Fi. What else will the evil
billionaire have up his sleeve as he continues to make Lashley's life a living hell before WrestleMania?
While Edge and Orton will battle six other Superstars at WrestleMania for a World Championship opportunity, the ECW
Originals will be fighting for their survival against the New Breed. In a precursor to their Eight-Man Tag Team Match at
sports-entertainment’s greatest spectacle, the two factions faced off in a Battle Royal on ECW on Sci Fi. Tommy Dreamer
emerged victorious, overcoming a two-on-one advantage at the end in favor of two of the New Breed's most cunning members,
Elijah Burke and Matt Striker. But the real boost for the ECW Originals came after the match.
Hardcore Legend-turned-bestselling author Mick Foley came to ECW on Sci Fi and endorsed the Originals. Foley initially
didn't receive a warm welcome from Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu and Rob Van Dam, who believed he was there only to promote his
new book, The Hardcore Diaries. But Foley – who battled with and alongside the four men as Cactus Jack in the original ECW
and is credited with bringing hardcore to WWE – said he didn't come to ECW on Sci Fi to just plug his new book. He came to
see what was going on between the Originals and the New Breed firsthand. Their matchup at WrestleMania, he said, is more
than a turf war. It is a battle for the legacy and future of ECW. “You guys have the chance to perform in front of 70,000
people," Foley said. "But you will have 70,001 people watching you that night. I will squeeze my fat ass in one of the
seats in the upper deck at Ford Field and will raising my hand as I chant these letters with the rest of the people: E-C-W,
E-C-W, E-C-W!"
The New Breed continues to look for reinforcements as WrestleMania approaches, and their most coveted prospect is
undoubtedly CM Punk. Elijah Burke approached Punk with a proposal to join the New Breed for a second consecutive week.
Though Punk seemed initially hostile to the offer, Burke is finding more ways to entice the straightedge Superstar.
Snitsky has shown that he walks alone as he has wreaked havoc in the Land of the Extreme. He has attacked any and all ECW
Superstars in random attacks for several weeks; no one has been safe. This week, Snitsky demolished two poor souls in his
first sanctioned match on ECW on Sci Fi, continuing his path of rage.

An enraged Chris Masters vowed to break Bobby Lashley after the ECW World Champion shocked The Masterpiece this past Monday
on Raw and became the first man to ever break the Master Lock, a feat no one had been able to accomplish for more than two
years. But not even a motivated Masterpiece could stop the man who will represent Donald Trump against Mr. McMahon’s Umaga
in the Battle of the Billionaires Hair vs. Hair Match at WrestleMania 23. Masters is one of the few WWE Superstars whose
power rivals Lashley’s. Their contest was a back-and-forth battle of wills and strength. But in the end, Lashley humbled
the arrogant Masters by making him feel what it’s like to be in the Master Lock. Lashley wrecked The Masterpiece by placing
him in his own signature hold before ultimately finishing him off with the Dominator.
Lashley’s victory only continued to fuel his momentum en route to WrestleMania and his showdown with Mr. McMahon on next
week’s Raw. He has been unstoppable in his march to WrestleMania, showing no fear of the Samoan Bulldozer and decimating
everyone McMahon has thrown at him. But The Chairman has “guaran-dam-teed” that he will defeat the ECW World Champion. The
evil egomaniacal billionaire never goes into an encounter without a plan. Tune into Raw next Monday and see what he has in
store for Lashley.
While McMahon has been trying to gain an advantage over Lashley in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, the New Breed and
the ECW Originals have been trading victories in their ongoing war. Last week, the Originals gained momentum when Tommy
Dreamer emerged victorious against all odds in an ECW Originals-New Breed Battle Royal. This week, Dreamer, Sandman,
Rob Van Dam and Sabu weren’t so fortunate, losing twice to the young upstarts. RVD & Sabu were inspired by the news that
their mentor – and Sabu’s uncle – The Original Sheik would be inducted into WWE’s Hall of the Fame the night before
WrestleMania. But the New Breed team of Kevin Thorn & Marcus Cor Von eked out a victory over “The Whole F’n Show” and Sabu
after "The Alpha Male" delivered a thunderous spear to the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death-Defying Maniac. Dreamer
hoped to avenge the loss against Elijah Burke in a battle of the two factions’ apparent leaders. But Burke defeated Dreamer
with double knees to the upper back, a manuever he calls "The Elijah Express."
So, it seems the tide has shifted slightly in favor of the New Breed as their pivotal Eight-Man Tag Team Match with the ECW
Originals at the sports-entertainment’s grandest stage looms. They have looked for any edge and have sought it in the
straightedge Superstar CM Punk. Punk, the only ECW Superstar to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at
WrestleMania, is the New Breed’s most coveted potential recruit. Smooth-talking Elijah Burke has tried to seduce Punk by
telling him the New Breed can give him backing that he can enable him to win Money in the Bank and achieve his dream – a
world championship. Tonight, the New Breed tried to further persuade Punk by giving him a little bit of help in his match
with Hardcore Holly. With Burke at ringside, Punk watched as Thorn interfered and helped him get a victory over the
super-tough veteran. Backstage, Punk told Burke that he did not need the New Breed's help. But Burke told the young star
that that was only a sample of what the New Breed could do for him. “Punk, I know you didn’t ask for our help. But that was
just a little example of what the New Breed can do for you, especially at WrestleMania and Money in the Bank,” he said.
Punk still has not given an answer to the New Breed. But it appears that he is open to accepting a victory by any means
necessary. He has a lot to think about with the biggest match of his career less than two weeks away.
So many Superstars covet an opportunity to compete at WrestleMania, but few in the Land of the Extreme have coveted the
chance to get in the ring with Snitsky. The deranged ECW monster continued his path of rage on ECW on Sci Fi, dismantling
another unfortunate foe.

Mr. McMahon was smiling like a Cheshire cat on ECW on Sci Fi after he fulfilled his “guaran-damn-tee” to pin ECW World
Champion Bobby Lashley on Raw. But Lashley dampened the Chairman’s mood when he showed him that he wouldn’t let his
beatdown on Raw cripple his determination to defeat Umaga at WrestleMania 23’s Battle of the Billionaires. Sure, McMahon
had stocked the odds heavily in his favor on Raw – he made the match a no-disqualification contest and employed the
services of his Battle of the Billionaires representative to help him get the win and brutalize Lashley. But, as McMahon
emphasized to the ECW World Champion, no one beats him. The Chairman promised Lashley that he and Donald Trump at
WrestleMania will join a long list of others who have fallen to his feet. “I can't wait to see Umaga, the Samoan
Bulldozer, stick his thumb down your throat and come down on you from the top rope and go splat, just like he did to you
last night [on Raw]," McMahon said. "I can't wait to see the loook of your face when you realize you've let Donald Trump
down, that you've let everyone down. And at the end of the night, I, Vincent Kennedy McMahon will still have my head of
hair, and your future, Bobby Lashley, will be bleak, very bleak." Lashley conceded that he did not have much to smile
about after the beating he absorbed he on Raw. However, the determined ECW World Champion vowed he would feel better after
he defeats Umaga and watches Trump shave McMahon’s head. "Listen, you old bastard," Lashley said. "At the end of
WrestleMania, you're going to be a bald son of a bitch."
McMahon-Umaga and Trump-Lashley do not have much in common. But the battling billionaires do trust their respective
WrestleMania representatives, almost like the trust seen in the members of the ECW Originals and the New Breed.
Balls Mahoney did not fare well against ECW loner, the deranged Snitsky, but fellow ECW Original Rob Van Dam had better
luck in his match.
New Breed captain Elijah Burke battled Original counterpart RVD in a last confrontation before the two factions’ fateful
Eight-Man Tag Team Match at WrestleMania. The two sides have traded victories before their showdown on April 1 at Ford
Field in Detroit. A back-and-forth battle between Burke and RVD ended the Originals' captain pinned his young rival
following the Five Star Frog Splash. The New Breed (Marcus Cor Von, Kevin Thorn and Matt Striker) attacked Van Dam after
the match but were then chased off by the rest of the ECW Originals, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer and Sandman. RVD gave his fellow
Originals momentum going into WrestleMania. Is this a harbinger of what awaits the New Breed and the Originals in their
battle for legacy and future of ECW? Order WrestleMania 23 this Sunday and find out.
Trust is something the participants in WrestleMania 23’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match lacked as they squared off in an
Eight-Man Tag Team Match on ECW on Sci Fi. Edge, the winner of the first Money in the Bank match and a favorite in this
year’s contest, was teamed with straightedge ECW Superstar CM Punk and Matt and Jeff Hardy against Finlay, King Booker,
Randy Orton and Mr. Kennedy. He admitted to his teammates that he disliked them as much as they did him. But he advised
them that they should band together to take out some of the members of the other team to increases their odds of victory at
Money in the Bank. Meanwhile, the opposing Money in the Bank team had its own trust issues. Orton and Kennedy would not
discuss prematch strategy with Booker and Finlay. Booker was wary of Orton and Kennedy before the match and tried formed a
pact with Finlay. In the end, team Booker, Finlay, Orton & Kennedy defeated Edge, The Hardys & Punk but it was really every
man for himself. Edge walked out on his team shortly before the loss. Despite their victory, Booker, Finlay, Orton and
Kennedy fought each other after the match. CM Punk, Matt and Jeff Hardy took aim at their victorious opponents. Even The
Hardys looked like they were going to come to blows when they scaled the top of a ladder in the middle of the ring after
the match. As this all unfolded, the Rated-R Superstar watched it all from the arena entrance, laughing. This kind of
cunning strategy helped Edge win Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 21 and ultimately win the WWE Championship. It could
help him repeat history at WrestleMania 23 this Sunday.

The ECW Originals may have earned an emotional victory against their rivals at WrestleMania, but tonight, the New Breed
outshined their enemies under the Originals’ home court rules: Extreme Rules. On Sunday, it was an emotional night for the
Originals who finally made it to WrestleMania and proved their resilience in front of more than 80,000 Ford Field fans. A
night that commenced with tears of joy for Original Tommy Dreamer became a tumultuous nightmare 48 hours later at the
hands of the New Breed. The four men isolated Dreamer early on until his fellow Originals retaliated with a slew of
weapons. Through tables, steel chairs and more, the Originals gave the New Breed a lesson in their hardcore roots for much
of the Eight-Man Tag Team Match. Ultimately, the captain of the upstart faction Elijah Burke caught a distracted Sabu with
a merciless Elijah Express that drove the ECW Original head first through a table. This was enough for Burke to snare the
win and put the New Breed back on top in their war against ECW’s legacy bearers.
After a successful slaying of the savage Umaga at WrestleMania 23 and on then again Raw, ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley
came to ECW on Sci Fi to celebrate in the Land of the Extreme. Lashley presented the ECW audience with a video replay of
his trip to Raw where he revealed Mr. McMahon’s sleek and shaved cranium. Though he enjoyed dehatting the WWE Chairman on
Monday night, the unstoppable champion said he anticipates Mr. McMahon’s attempts at retaliation. Sans his signature
coiffure, the Chairman may spend the rest of his days trying to put Lashley through hell, but the ECW World Champion
challenged the bald billionaire to bring it on. “He can send a whole army against me,” said Lashley of Mr. McMahon, “I
don’t care. No matter who or what you send against me, nothing will stop me.”
The WrestleMania 23 fallout continued as Money in the Bank participant CM Punk resumed his competitive zeal on ECW on Sci
Fi. After a successful battle with Stevie Richards, the straightedge Superstar was confronted by a pair of New Breeders in
the locker room area. Matt Striker and Marcus Cor Von referred to Punk as the fastest rising star in ECW, but warned that
if he isn’t with them, he’s against them.
Elsewhere in the Land of the Extreme, ECW’s most deranged Superstar Snitsky continued his ravaging path of destruction –
this week, bringing his pain distribution to new levels in his match against Hardcore Holly. The Alabaman veteran fought
tooth-and-nail with his heinous opponent and proved to be the one man who could stand up against Snitsky. In the end,
however, Snitsky – the man who WWE Magazine named “most likely to rip your head off” – maintained his streak of dominance.
Afterwards, the chaos continued as Snitsky pinned Holly’s arm beneath the steel ring steps and repeatedly bashed the steps
with a chair – an attack that dismantled and near crippled Holly.
Recording artist Timbaland was surveying the talented ECW Divas, looking for the stars of his upcoming music video. After
a brief interaction with Rob Van Dam, Extreme Exposé expressed their extreme interest in working with the world-famous
rapper and producer.

For weeks, the Land of the Extreme wondered whether CM Punk would join the New Breed. At first, the straightedge Superstar
told the New Breed he didn’t need their help. Then, he kept them – and all of ECW – guessing as he repeatedly said he
would “think about it.” The New Breed, led by Elijah Burke, told Punk that he belonged with them because he, like them,
was the future of ECW and they could help him achieve his dreams. The ECW Originals, the New Breed’s arch enemies led by
Rob Van Dam, told Punk not to sell out and that he didn’t need the diabolical faction to succeed. Tonight, CM Punk shocked
ECW – and his loyal legion of fans – by shaking Burke’s hand and joining the New Breed. Rob Van Dam, Sandman, and Tommy
Dreamer could only watch the New Breed celebrate their newest acquisition after RVD lost a hard-fought battle to New
Breeder Marcus Cor Von.
It was a rough night for the Originals. Earlier that night, Dreamer lost to the New Breed’s Kevin Thorn. To make matters
worse, it appears that Sabu, one of the foundations of the Originals, is severely injured. Sabu, who was wearing a neck
brace after being put through a table by Burke in an Extreme Rules Eight-Man Tag Team Match last week, was attacked again
by the New Breed leader during RVD’s match. As the New Breed hoisted CM Punk on their shoulders at the conclusion of ECW
on Sci Fi, the Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal ECW legend lay motionless in pain at ringside as Van Dam attended to him.
It seems like the advantage in the ongoing war between the Originals and the New Breed has shifted decisively in the young
upstarts’ favor.
Mr. McMahon seemed to enjoy the surprising momentum shift in his war with ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley. The maniacal,
bald Chairman made a surprise appearance on ECW on Sci Fi one night after helping his son Shane and Intercontinental
Champion Umaga beat Lashley bloody on Raw. Lashley was home recovering from a concussion. But, he will be ready when he
has to defend his championship in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match against Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon and the Samoan Bulldozer at
Backlash on April 29. Mr. McManiac said that WrestleMania 23 may have been “the worst day in the history of a McMahon,”
but vowed to complete his vengeance on Lashley at Backlash. "Lashley, if WrestleMania was the biggest night of your life,
Backlash will be the worst night of your life.... I can hear it now. The ring announcer saying, 'Here he is, your winner
and new ECW World Champion – Vincent Kennedy McMahon!'"
Superstars have been wary of Mr. McMahon’s wrath since he was shaved bald at WrestleMania, and few have escaped Snitsky’s
path of rage since he arrived in ECW. He broke Hardcore Holly’s arm last week, and this week, he stalked Extreme Exposé’s
Layla. The deranged ECW monster followed the trio just as they finished their dance number. Kelly Kelly, Brooke and ECW
fans watched in horror as Snitsky cornered Layla and appeared to have some bad intentions on his mind. But before anything
could happen, Balls Mahoney came to Layla’s aid like a gap-toothed, tattooed knight in shining armor and struck Snitsky
with a chair. Unfazed by the chair, Snitsky proceeded to beat Mahoney. He left Mahoney lying after a thunderous boot to
the face, making him pay for his chivalry.

The first-ever ECW on Sci Fi broadcast from Italy started with a celebration as a beaming Elijah Burke and the New Breed
announced the faction’s newest member, CM Punk. By the end of the night, however, the ECW Originals were the ones smiling.
After a main event that was hard-fought by both party’s leaders, Elijah Burke was left with a sour taste in his mouth,
receiving a dose of his own medicine and getting pinned by Rob Van Dam. RVD appeared to be in control toward the end of the
match, but when the referee was on the wrong end of a collision with the ECW Original followed by an unintentional
mouthful of Van Dam’s boot, all bets were off. CM Punk made good on his promise earlier that he would have Burke’s back.
After rushing to ringside, Punk slid a chair into the ring at Burke’s request. Unfortunately for the New Breed’s leader,
Van Dam managed to intercept the chair and use it to put Burke away for good.
Punk spoke with his new affiliates several times before the main event. The first encounter was in the center of the ring
when he proclaimed himself as an official member of the New Breed, despite RVD vowing that Punk would regret his choice.
“That man made his decision and the future looks brighter than ever for ECW,” Burke boasted to the sold-out arena.
Throughout the night, as Burke watched his new recruit converse in the locker room area with Kevin Thorn, Marcus Cor Von
and Matt Striker, he wore a confused expression after each encounter. Punk insisted on bringing assistance and leadership
to his allies, only to run into criticism from ECW’s self-proclaimed guiding light. Burke repeatedly instructed his new
protégé to “fall in line” with the group. Later, in the main event, Punk seemed to be completely misaligned with Burke.
Regretting the apparent miscommunication on the first night as a New Breeder, the straightedge Superstar filled the
remaining moments of ECW on Sci Fi with apologies.
Two of Punk’s other associates had a rough night as well. Thorn & Cor Von suffered a loss to Tommy Dreamer & Sandman. The
match would prove to foreshadow the main event’s outcome as Thorn was also force-fed a spoon of his own blood. Dreamer
rolled up the vampire enthusiast for a pin, using the rope for assistance outside of the referee’s line of sight – a page
from the New Breed’s playbook.
ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley threw a celebration of his own on ECW on Sci Fi as he got the honor of introducing Santino
Marella as the new Intercontinental Champion. Twenty-four hours earlier on Raw, Lashley took matters into his own hands
and assisted the Italian WWE fan with a spear to Umaga. After shutting down the Samoan Bulldozer – much to Mr. McMahon’s
dismay – Lashley placed Marella on top of the beast to claim the gold. On Tuesday, Marella thanked Lashley for his help,
along with WWE and Italy. Lashley appears to be giving the Chairman his own helping of hell as the ECW World Champion’s
3-on-1 Handicap Match for the title against Mr. McMahon, Shane McMahon and Umaga at Backlash approaches.

It was an evening of making statements on ECW on Sci Fi as ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley showed Umaga and the McMahons
that he was ready to battle overwhelming odds in his title defense this Sunday at Backlash, and CM Punk showed the New
Breed that he is his own man. The ECW Champion’s three Backlash opponents sent him a clear message on Raw this week. Umaga
and Shane McMahon decimated a local British grappler named Robbie Brookside in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match and allowed Mr.
McMahon to make the pin. But tonight on ECW on Sci Fi, Lashley showed he was not intimidated when he battled Umaga less
than a week before Backlash. The Samoan Bulldozer didn’t need motivation in this match; Lashley cost him the
Intercontinental Championship against the unknown Santino Marella last week on Raw. With the Chairman watching from a
monitor in the dressing room, Umaga went after Lashley with a vengeance. But when the ECW World Champion battled back and
it appeared he would snatch a victory away from Umaga, his manager, Armando Estrada, interfered and struck Lashley in the
back with his title. However, Lashley made Umaga’s handler pay dearly. After knocking Umaga out of the ring, the enraged
champion grabbed Estrada and near cut him in half with a thunderous spear. Lashley stood over the fallen Estrada and
glared at the Chairman, who had emerged from the back to restrain Umaga. Mr. McMahon’s eyes bulged in horror as Lashley
gorilla-pressed Estrada and tossed him out of the ring. Lashley stood tall in this latest battle with the McMahons and
Umaga, but the odds will be stacked against him at Backlash. He will be battling a monstrous savage and two vengeful
McMahons who are determined to bring honor back to their family name. And if either Umaga, Shane McMahon or Mr. McMahon
pin Lashley or make him submit, ECW will have a new World Champion.
It seems like a new war has started between CM Punk and Elijah Burke and the New Breed. Burke began to mistrust the New
Breed’s newest member – a man he personally recruited – when he saw the straightedge Superstar assuming a leadership role
in the group. His distrust wasn’t eased when Punk accidentally cost him a victory in his match against the Originals’ Rob
Van Dam last week. Punk repeatedly apologized for costing Burke the match, but the relationship between the New Breed’s
most dominant personalities only appeared to disintegrate this week. Before an Eight-Man Elimination Match with the ECW
Originals, Burke told New Breed teammates Matt Striker, Kevin Thorn, and Marcus Cor Von that he believed he had made a
mistake by recruiting Punk. He even told Punk to sit out of the Elimination Match. But Punk did not take lightly to taking
orders from Burke. The straightedge Superstar cost Burke and the New Breed their match against Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer,
Sabu, and Sandman. After the match, Punk didn’t appear apologetic as he stood over a fallen a Burke and said, with a smirk
on his face, “I’m really sorry.” With that, Punk walked out the ring alone. It is apparent that he is no longer a member of
the New Breed – but he is not aligned with the ECW Originals, either. The straightedge Superstar showed that he stands
alone and follows no one.
Another ECW Superstar who appears to walk to the beat of his own drummer is the deranged Snitsky, who has terrorized ECW
for months. Two weeks ago, he stalked Layla of Extreme Exposé, and who knows what might have happened if Balls Mahoney
hadn’t intervened. Snitsky made him pay with a boot to the face, and this week, Balls sought revenge. But alas, ECW’s
“Captain Caveman” came up short as Snitsky brutalized him before getting the pinfall.

When Mr. McMahon won the ECW World Championship from Bobby Lashley, the ECW Originals – the foundation upon which the
promotion was built – were outraged. They believed that the Chairman had trashed their legacy, and perhaps no one was more
vocal about this than former ECW World Champion Rob Van Dam. After winning an Extreme Rules Four Way Match tonight against
his fellow Originals, RVD won the opportunity to face Mr. McMahon and salvage some of their legacy and ECW's dignity. RVD’s
match with the Chairman next week will not be for the championship. It will be a chance for one of ECW’s old guard to get
their hands on the Chairman-champion. The Originals, all former ECW World Champions, had vented their rage at Mr.
McMahon’s championship victory in interviews seen first on WWE.com. The self-proclaimed “King of Extreme” thought that he
was punishing Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Sabu by pitting them against each other in an Extreme Rules Four Way
Match for an opportunity to face him. Though the Originals are friends and are united in their love of ECW, they waged war
against each other for the chance to battle Mr. McMahon. They were not confined by rules and showed our fans in Birmingham,
Ala., why ECW is called Extreme Championship Wrestling. RVD won with a Five-Star Frog Splash on Sandman. The Chairman
looked nervous as RVD celebrated his victory. But as the diabolical billionaire showed Bobby Lashley, RVD should beware –
Mr. McMahon always has something up his sleeve.
A wounded Lashley appeared on ECW on Sci Fi and showed the Chairman and raucous Birmingham crowd that he is determined to
regain the ECW World Championship. Lashley conceded that he was still nursing his shoulder, which he injured during his
match against Mr. McMahon, Umaga and Shane McMahon at Backlash. However, that didn’t stop him from demanding a rematch for
the championship tonight. But that was not to be. Umaga’s handler, Armando Estrada – confined to a wheelchair because of
the ferocious beating Lashley gave him last week – came out to ringside and told the former champion that, per Mr.
McMahon’s order, he would receive a rematch, but not that night. However, there was one stipulation: if Lashley touched
Umaga, Shane McMahon or the Chairman without any physical provocation, he would lose the right to his rematch. To
Estrada’s painful dismay, Mr. McMahon made a tactical error – Estrada was not included in that stipulation. Lashley put
his hands on Estrada without fear of losing his rematch and made him pay for being the Chairman’s messenger. He got a
small dose of revenge for the hell he has endured at the hands of Mr. McMahon.
Elijah Burke and his New Breed were determined to get revenge on CM Punk after the straightedge Superstar made them
believe that he was a true member of their group and cost them their match against the Originals last week. At first it
appeared Burke was going to exact revenge from Punk himself. But instead, he volunteered fanged freak New Breeder Kevin
Thorn to take on Punk. Thorn wasn’t pleased to be fighting Punk. Unfortunately for him, he wasn’t able to channel his
anger into a victory over the fan-favorite. When Thorn asked Burke why he didn’t help him out during his match, the
eloquent pugilist berated him, and said no one should question his decisions as leader of the New Breed. With that, Thorn
declared that the New Breed “bites” and quit the group.
The New Breed’s implosion continued unexpectedly later that night during a tag team match involving Marcus Cor Von and
Matt Striker. Cor Von and Striker were expected to put the New Breed back in the win column with a decisive victory
against two unknowns, the Major Brothers. But out of nowhere, the Major Brothers pulled off a major upset and defeated Cor
Von and Striker. Shocked and disgusted, Burke went on a verbal tirade against Striker. The Extreme Educator took the
tongue-lashing while Cor Von merely walked away. Is the New Breed slowly falling apart?

ECW World Champion Mr. McMahon promised to crush the spirit of the original ECW when he changed his scheduled one-on-one
encounter with Rob Van Dam into a 3-on-1 Handicap Match featuring himself, Shane McMahon and Umaga. Tonight on ECW on Sci
Fi, the Chairman and his cronies may have gone a long way toward accomplishing that goal by decimating RVD. Van Dam was
the loudest among the Originals when they voiced their disgust over Mr. McMahon winning the ECW World Title at Backlash.
RVD thought he would have the opportunity to salvage some of the Originals’ legacy when he won the right to face McMahon
following an Extreme Four Way Match last week. But the diabolical Chairman-champ had a plan, and lured Van Dam into a
match where he faced insurmountable odds. RVD battled valiantly against Shane and the Samoan Bulldozer. Just as he did in
the Backlash Handicap Match against Bobby Lashley, Mr. McMahon spent most of the time in the corner, not tagging himself
into the match except during the times it appeared the Original was ready to be pinned. But the numbers game caught up to
RVD as he withstood a vicious splash and Samoan Spike from Umaga before he was ultimately pinned by the Chairman. Dreamer
and Sabu rushed from the locker room to help their fallen friend. As Mr. McMahon, his son Shane and the Samoan Bulldozer
celebrated, RVD, Dreamer, Sabu, and our fans must have wondered whether the soul of ECW was really beginning to die.
Mr. McMahon may have been sending Lashley a message with the destruction of RVD. Under the stipulation put in place by the
Chairman, Lashley will lose his rematch opportunity if he puts a hand on Mr. McMahon, Shane or Umaga without physical
provocation. But Umaga’s handler, Armando Estrada, was not included under that provision, and Lashley made him pay with a
beating last week on ECW on Sci Fi. This week, as Lashley was about to enter the arena, Estrada – who was accompanied by
police – told him he was barred from the arena. At first, the former Army sergeant told Estrada that he was only there to
apologize. But then with a smile on his face, Lashley said, “What the hell,” and pushed Umaga’s wheelchair-bound handler
down a ramp. The former ECW World Champion then voluntarily surrendered to police as he told them to arrest him.
While the Chairman and Lashley showed each other they were preparing for Judgment Day, Elijah Burke sent a similar message
CM Punk. The leader of the New Breed has wanted a piece of the straightedge Superstar ever since he embarrassed him and
cost him a match against the Originals two weeks ago. As announced on ECW on Sci Fi, Burke will get a chance to face Punk
at Judgment Day, live on pay-per-view on May 20.
But tonight, Burke dispatched his New Breed teammate Marcus Cor Von to soften up Punk – and he may have succeeded. During
the match, Cor Von targeted Punk's back and ribs. Punk battled through the pain and nearly snatched a victory over The
Alpha Male. But Burke stopped Punk with a cheap shot to his ribs outside the ring. Cor Von pinned Punk after nearly
cutting him in half with a thunderous Pounce. The straightedge Superstar had to have X-rays taken on his ribs.
Burke continued to build some momentum for the New Breed later that night. Seething over the upset loss of his fellow New
Breeders Cor Von and Matt Striker to the unknown Major Brothers last week, he was determined to show an apologetic
Striker "how to get things done." Burke defeated Brian Major handily in singles competition with a face jam he calls the
Elijah Experience.
So far, no one in ECW has been able to pin a loss on Snitsky since the deranged monster debuted in the Land of the
Extreme. Snitsky continued his winning streak when he dismantled ECW Original Sandman.

Less than a week before their showdown in their 3-on-1 Handicap Rematch for the ECW World Title, ECW World Champion Mr.
McMahon and Bobby Lashley sent the same message to each other: They are ready for Judgment Day.
ECW World Champion “Dr.” McMahon told Bobby Lashley that he would be his judge, jury and executioner at Judgment Day. But
tonight, the former ECW World Champion showed the scheming Chairman that he was ready for him, his son Shane McMahon and
Umaga in their rematch at Judgment Day when he overcame the New Breed in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. Lashley was still
licking his wounds on ECW on Sci Fi after Mr. McMahon outsmarted him on Raw. The Chairman, Shane and the Samoan Bulldozer
violated their own no-touch rule. (For several weeks, Lashley was not allowed to touch Mr. McMahon, his son Shane or Umaga
unless he was physically provoked. If he did, he would lose his title rematch.) Mr. McMahon left Lashley unconscious after
blindsiding him with a blow to the head with the ECW World Title. “I will never forgive or forget what you did to me at
WrestleMania,” the Chairman said in an interview from WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Conn. “You shaved me bald. I bet you
enjoyed seeing that, didn’t you, Bobby Lashley? But I enjoyed seeing what I did to you last night on Raw.” On ECW on Sci
Fi tonight, the self-proclaimed “Doctor of Hardcore” said he wanted to make sure Lashley was mentally and physically
prepared for his 3-on-1 Handicap Rematch for the ECW World Championship at Judgment Day by making him face three of ECW’s
finest – the New Breed’s Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von & Matt Striker. The courageous Lashley held off the New Breed but
the numbers game caught up with him as they successfully double-and-triple-teamed him at times. However, Striker was
overwhelmed by Lashley and his teammates did nothing to help him. Lashley got the victory and much-needed momentum in the
last days leading up to Judgment Day. Lashley showed Mr. McMahon, Shane and Umaga that he may be their judge, jury, and
executioner, and that they may pay the price with the Chairman’s ECW World Title.
A loss was not what New Breed leader Elijah Burke was seeking as he prepared for his war at Judgment Day with CM Punk. He
was still seething over an upset loss by Cor Von and Striker to the Major Brothers two weeks ago and blamed the Extreme
Educator for the defeat. The fact that Striker was pinned in their match with Lashley did nothing to bring him back into
Burke’s good graces.
Tonight’s loss may only motivate the New Breed leader is his upcoming showdown with Punk at Judgment Day – he may feel
like he has something to prove. After all, Punk tried to undermine Burke when he was briefly a member of the New Breed and
tried to tear the group apart from within. The Straightedge Superstar, who suffered rib injuries at the hands of Burke and
Cor Von last week, showed the so-called “Paragon of Virtue” that he was ready for Judgment Day when he defeated Stevie
Richards.
Most Superstars in the Land of the Extreme have had their ups and downs, but no one has been able to stop the
tooth-decayed, psychotic Snitsky. Tonight, Rob Van Dam, who bravely fought the McMahons and Umaga despite overwhelming
odds in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match last week, showed heroics against the ECW monster. But no one – no even the referee –
could control Snitsky, and he was disqualified after he nearly took off the ECW Original’s head with vile chair to his
skull. This is not the first time Snitsky’s sadism has surfaced. He broke super-tough Alabaman Hardcore Holly’s arm
several weeks ago when he sandwiched it between the ring steps and the ring post. Is anyone safe from the yellow-toothed
Snitsky? And more importantly, can anyone stop him?
Snitsky’s thirst for carnage has been unquenchable, just like Kevin Thorn’s hunger for new blood – new opponents – has
been since he quit the New Breed. The fanged freak began a new chapter in his career with a victory over Nunzio.

With One Night Stand less than two weeks away, the Land of the Extreme was awaiting the eagerly anticipated one-on-one
Street Fight between Mr. McMahon and Bobby Lashley for the ECW World Title. Lashley won the right to challenge the
Chairman by running the gauntlet and defeating four competitors – Chris Masters, Viscera, Umaga and Shane McMahon – on Raw.

If CM Punk thought his rivalry with Elijah Burke ended with his pinfall victory over the silver-tongued pugilist at
Judgment Day, he was wrong. Burke showed Punk he wasn’t done with him just yet in a tag team war pitting him and fellow
New Breeder Marcus Cor Von against the Straightedge Superstar & ECW Original Rob Van Dam. Tonight's showdown was a
convergence of old scores that needed to be settled. Both Burke and RVD had recruited the Straightedge Superstar for their
respective groups. For weeks, Burke personally recruited Punk for membership in the cocky, upstart New Breed. Punk
eventually joined the New Breed, only to leave two weeks later after purposely knocking out Burke and costing him and his
team a pivotal match against the ECW Originals. Punk later revealed that he purposely infiltrated the New Breed to tear it
apart and teach Burke a lesson. The New Breed leader vowed to take out Punk at Judgment Day, but fell short in their
hard-fought battle. Tonight, with The Alpha Male in tow, Burke got some revenge when he and Cor Von punished Punk and RVD
mercilessly on ECW on Sci Fi. The New Breed teammates were disqualified after repeatedly not heeding the referee's
warnings. But that didn't matter to Burke & Cor Von. They punished Van Dam's knee and Punk's injured ribs throughout the
match. The Alpha Male put the finishing touches on RVD and Punk with consecutive Pounces. Only one thing is certain in the
Punk-Burke war: It may be far from over.
The first 3 minutes of this match missing due to weather interference with satellite transmission.
RVD had vengeance on his mind after Snitsky whacked him on the head with a steel chair last week on ECW on Sci Fi. This
week, the yellow-toothed deranged monster made Tommy Dreamer his latest victim in the trail of bodies he has left since
entering ECW. However, when Snitsky tried to demolish Dreamer the same way he did to RVD, the one-of-a-kind Superstar
saved his fellow ECW Original, and sent the bully slinking back to the locker room.
Snitsky has an impressive win-loss record in ECW, but one Superstar who has had problems getting victories lately is Matt
Striker. After getting pinned in New Breed losses to the Major Brothers and Lashley, Striker had lost the confidence of
Burke and the rest of the group. Tonight, Burke told Striker he would feel his wrath if he lost his singles match with
Brett Major. This motivated Striker as the Extreme Educator defeated the Major Brother. "See, I belong here," a relieved
Striker said to himself and the crowd as he walked back to the locker room.

Randy Orton knew he was in hostile territory when he invaded the Land of the Extreme, the home of the man he injured the
night before on Raw, Rob Van Dam. He relished the boos that ECW fans rained on him at the John Labatt Centre. Orton said
he was proud that he had ended Shawn Michaels’ career and was proud that he had given Rob Van Dam a concussion on Raw,
rendering him unable to compete tonight on ECW on Sci Fi. The Legend Killer vowed to finish RVD once and for all and have
him carried out on a stretcher, just like HBK, after the two waged war in a Stretcher Match at One Night Stand. Fellow ECW
Original and longtime RVD friend, Tommy Dreamer couldn’t stand it anymore and marched from the locker room and challenged
Orton. “Everyone in that locker room and everyone here looks up to Shawn Michaels,” Dreamer said. “RVD is a close friend of
mine, and I'm not going to stand by and let you come out here and run your mouth. You’re right – you’re not welcome here.
But you are welcome to have a match with me … tonight!” Dreamer seemed to fight for not just his friend but all of ECW in
his battle with the sadistic, arrogant Orton. But like so many others, he fell victim to Orton’s RKO. With a gleam in his
eye, Orton began to target Dreamer’s head and was ready to add him to his list of concussion victims when Van Dam stunned
the crowd and ran from the back to protect his friend. But Orton stopped a still-injured RVD with one blow to the head,
and RVD could only gaze at the Raw Superstar as he awaited their showdown at One Night Stand.
One Night Stand may be the last stand for either Bobby Lashley or ECW World Champion Mr. McMahon. In an interactive
interview, both men promised to emerge victorious in their Street Fight at One Night Stand. The Chairman crowed about how
much he has demoralized and been one step ahead of Lashley in his quest to regain the ECW World Title. "You are entering my
world, Bobby Lashley, this Sunday. I'm from the streets," the Chairman said. "This title does not belong to you. It
belongs to me." But Lashley, ever-determined and undaunted, promised our fans that he would win the Street Fight this
Sunday and regain the ECW World Title and bring honor back to the Land of the Extreme. "I am a champion, and I need my
title back," Lashley said. "I won't need a weapon to beat you this Sunday. I promise I will regain my title, and the
people will be cheering."
New Breed leader Elijah Burke has taken pleasure in bringing CM Punk pain since the Straightedge Superstar tried to
destroy his group from within and embarrassed the self-proclaimed “Paragon of Virtue.” He smiled when he and fellow New
Breeder Marcus Cor Von helped damage Punk’s ribs several weeks ago. Burke was nearly orgasmic when he and The Alpha Male
were disqualified, but delivered a brutal beating to Punk and Rob Van Dam in their tag team match last week on ECW on Sci
Fi. Winning didn’t matter – all that mattered was making Punk feel pain. So, it just seemed inevitable that the two would
square off in a one-on-one No Disqualification Match. Initially, the contest was supposed to be a tag team match featuring
RVD and Cor Von, but the ECW Original wasn’t cleared to compete following a concussion he suffered during a match with
Randy Orton on Raw. Punk has said he prides himself on fighting his battles alone, but he was no match for Burke in a
setting where there were no rules. The Straightedge Superstar got off to a fast start, but Burke targeted his ribs. Punk
showed his guts and why he has such a growing legion of fans. However, the New Breed leader, with the help of Cor Von,
overwhelmed Punk. He pinned the ECW hero after The Alpha Male bulldozed Punk through a table with The Pounce. The New
Breed appears to be primed and ready for a Six-Man Tag Team Tables Match with Punk and ECW Originals Sandman and Tommy
Dreamer at One Night Stand. Will Punk be ready for battle on Sunday?
One man who seems ready for anyone – and any kind of match – since leaving the New Breed is Kevin Thorn. He has left a

freak’s power.

As our fans saw on Raw Monday night, the loss of the ECW World Title at One Night Stand left Mr. McMahon unhinged. He was
incoherent at times, eyes bulging one minute and then gazing off into oblivion the next minute. Tonight, he returned to
ECW on Sci Fi and was focused on getting revenge on the man who was responsible for driving him to the brink of insanity,
new ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley.
Our fans in the Amway Arena watched Mr. McMahon closely when new ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley once again overcame the
obstacles the Chairman stacked before him. They expected the tyrannical billionaire to bare his teeth; they expected him
to point his finger and swear obscenities at Lashley, as he has so many times in his nearly four-month war with the ECW
warrior. Instead, McMahon said nothing. He watched Lashley defeat ECW Originals Tommy Dreamer, Sandman and Balls Mahoney
in a 3-on-1 Hardcore Handicap Match. As he sat in a rocking chair on a stage in the arena, his hands folded and a
spotlight behind him, he watched Lashley celebrate and hoist the ECW World Title – a title he held just days ago. The
Chairman remained stone-faced, in a near catatonic state. Even when Lashley came up close and shoved the ECW World Title
in his face, McMahon just stared blankly. The Chairman was practically a zombie throughout Lashley’s match. He was
hell-bent on getting revenge on Lashley, who took the ECW World Title away from him Sunday night in a Street Fight at One
Night Stand, and everyone he believed laughed at him after the pay-per-view. McMahon was so determined to gain vengeance
that he pitted our fans’ heroes against each other. The Originals didn’t escape McMahon’s scorn; it was rumored that they
had to compete in the match or risk facing punishment or a possible firing. Despite their hesitancy to participate in the
match, the Originals waged a war with Lashley. Neither the champion nor the ECW patriarchs were afraid to use weapons
against each other, despite the mutual respect they had for one another. When the former Army sergeant somehow won the
match with a spear on Mahoney, our fans roared – and then were stunned into silence by the Chairman’s reaction, or lack
thereof. Lashley has become an obsession for McMahon. He gave the Chairman the most humiliating moment of his life when he
shaved him bald in front of more than 80,000 people at WrestleMania 23. The Chairman has sworn revenge on Lashley and has
had only mixed results, briefly taking the ECW World Title away from him. McMahon has lost his pride because of Lashley,
now he may be on the verge of losing his mind. And all of WWE and ECW are feeling the Chairman’s wrath. Who knows if the
Chairman will wreak havoc on SmackDown?
One faction that sought retribution – and possibly some redemption – tonight was the New Breed. After losing a Six-Man Tag
Team Tables Match to CM Punk, Dreamer & Sandman at One Night Stand, Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von & Matt Striker knew that
tonight was possibly their last night as a unit because of the upcoming WWE Draft. Burke & Cor Von took on the Major
Brothers, who upset Cor Von & Striker several weeks ago. The brother duo put up a courageous fight, but the New Breed
leader and his enforcer overwhelmed them with a ferocious onslaught.
Striker was less successful than his teammates. ECW’s resident teacher was determined to teach a lesson to New Breed
nemesis CM Punk. But Striker – whose less-than-stellar win-loss record has caused some tension between him and his New
Breed brethren – came up short against the Straightedge Superstar, who was saluted by his legion of fans who may have seen
their hero for the last time on ECW on Sci Fi. Punk smiled and gazed in awe as the crowd at the Amway Arena chanted, “CM
Punk! CM Punk!”
One former New Breed member who may be looking forward to the Draft is Kevin Thorn, who has left a bloody trail of
destruction since he left the faction. Thorn has been looking for new blood, and whether he stays on ECW or is drafted to
Raw or SmackDown, he is guaranteed to get it. Tonight, he continued his winning streak against Stevie Richards. The ECW
pioneer gave the fanged freak everything he could handle, but Thorn ultimately overwhelmed him with his power and the
Original Sin.

Many critics will debate the legacy of Mr. McMahon for years to come. To some, he was a sports-entertainment visionary who
rightfully did anything he had to do to win. To others, he was a ruthless tyrant who crushed opponents both weak and
small. But everyone would have to agree that he was the consummate showman – and that he would have wanted his vision to
continue even after his presumed death. And the show did go on Tuesday night, with a very solemn ECW on Sci Fi, the first
program following the Chairman’s demise when his limousine exploded on Raw. ECW on Sci Fi was dedicated to the memory of
Mr. McMahon, a former ECW World Champion.
The tribute to Mr. McMahon took place in Philadelphia, the birthplace of ECW, and our fans got a dose of both the old and
the new – and a little bit of the in-between – in the Land of the Extreme. Our fans got a first look at the two newest
additions to ECW since Monday’s WWE Draft – Chris Benoit and Boogeyman.
Benoit, an Original from the first incarnation of ECW, was greeted with a rousing ovation as he teamed with CM Punk –
considered by some a future World Champion – against the New Breed’s Elijah Burke & Marcus Cor Von in his return to his
roots. Burke & Cor Von desperately wanted to play spoiler and show the Rabid Wolverine that he would not bully them on
their turf. Unfortunately for the New Breed, Benoit had other plans. Benoit & Punk won by disqualification, but Benoit
nearly crippled Burke with the Sharpshooter. He showed the New Breed - and all of ECW - why he is one of the greatest
technicians in sports-entertainment history.
Meanwhile, Boogeyman repulsed both onlookers and his hapless foe Matt Striker in his ECW debut. The New Breed’s Extreme
Educator usually has an answer for everything and is never at a loss for words. There’s no doubt that he wanted to teach
the man from the Bottomless Pit a lesson in his introduction to the Land of the Extreme. But Boogeyman befuddled Striker
as he slurped down night crawlers and gyrated around the ring. Like so many foes before him, Striker could not find an
answer to Boogeyman, who flashed a foam-filled toothless grin after his victory.
And in a dose of an oldie – but a goodie – our fans gasped and roared as Dreamer and Mahoney waged war in an Extreme Rules
Match reminiscent of the original-Philadelphia-based ECW. Both showed the guts and innovative use of every weapon
imaginable in their battle – which is just one reason why they have been so beloved in their careers. Ultimately, Dreamer,
a longtime critic of Mr. McMahon and considered the heart and soul of the original ECW, prevailed. He gave his all as he
always does, even if it was during a show in tribute to a man he despised.

As the cloud of mystery over Mr. McMahon's tragic presumed demise continued to hang over all of WWE and ECW, the winds of
change blew in the Land of the Extreme Tuesday night. The first steps to crowning a new ECW World Champion were taken, as
Chris Benoit and CM Punk won the opportunity to face each other for the vacant ECW World Title at Vengeance: Night of
Champions. Ironically, Benoit and Punk would not have gotten this title match without Mr. McMahon. In his last official
act, the Chairman stripped Bobby Lashley of the ECW World Title after the proud former Army sergeant was drafted to Raw.
Benoit and Punk did not get their title opportunity easily. New Breed leader Elijah Burke and his enforcer, Marcus Cor Von
would have loved to have brought the ECW World Title to the New Breed. But Burke fell short to the Rabid Wolverine, and
the Straightedge Superstar somehow eked out a victory over The Alpha Male. The Rabid Wolverine is a former World Champion
and perhaps a future WWE Hall of Famer. CM Punk is an up-and-coming ECW Superstar and perhaps a future World Champion.
They represent the past, the present and future of ECW and all of sports-entertainment – and in many ways are mirror
images of each other. When Benoit and Punk battle for the ECW World Title this Sunday at Vengeance: Night of Champions, it
will be a clash of both the past and future of ECW. Their battle will be a war between titans who share both the same
passion for combat inside the squared circle and a mutual code of honor.
Benoit and Punk were not the only Superstars to give our fans a glimpse of the new landscape of ECW. Former
Intercontinental and WWE Tag Team Champion Johnny Nitro, who was drafted to ECW this past Sunday during the WWE
Supplemental Draft, made his debut in the Land of the Extreme against tough ECW Original Nunzio. The Full-Blooded Italian
showed the A-lister what extreme means in ECW. But in the end, Nitro showed our fans – and the rest of ECW – that he is an
A-lister who can kick some ass.
Recent draftee Boogeyman continued to send nightmares throughout the ECW locker room by quickly decimating and worming
another hapless foe. Our fans cringed in horror as the worms wiggled in Boogeyman’s mouth and he celebrated another
victory. It looks like he is looking to bring more victims down to The Bottomless Pit in the weeks ahead.
Boogeyman’s entrance in ECW has caused sleepless nights, but it appears new draftee The Miz’s debut is highly anticipated,
especially among the ladies of Extreme Exposé. The trio was seen talking about the former reality TV star, and Brooke even
seems to have a crush on The Miz. But it also appears that Kelly Kelly may have already spent some time with Miz – and
Layla knows about it. Stay tuned to ECW on Sci Fi in the coming weeks and see if this potential saga develops.
Kevin Thorn is not new to ECW, but he is one of its most promising young stars. He has been on a brutal winning streak
since leaving the New Breed and focusing on leaving his own carnage in ECW. Tommy Dreamer, the heart and soul of ECW,
tested the fanged freak, but Thorn pounded him into defeat.
Benoit, Punk, Burke, Cor Von, Nitro, Boogeyman and Thorn all gave our fans a glimpse of ECW’s future, and by all
indications, it is bright. One thing is for sure: Vengeance: Night of Champions will be the beginning of a new era in the
Land of Extreme.

Benoit`s Home
Fayettville, Georgia
Professional wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and smothered his 7-year-old son, placing bibles at their sides,
before hanging himself from a pulley in his weight room, authorities said Tuesday.
Police ruled the death a double homicide-suicide and are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the
deaths. Authorities said they found prescription anabolic steroids in the home among other legal prescriptions. Steroid
abuse has been linked to depression, paranoia, and aggressive behavior or angry outbursts known as "roid rage." "There was
a lot of prescription medication that he had received from doctors with what we believed to be at this time legal
prescriptions," said Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. Police said that Nancy Benoit died of
asphyxiation on Friday, said Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard. She was found in an upstairs family room with
her legs and wrists bound and blood under her head, perhaps indicating a struggle, he said. The Benoits' son, Daniel, died
of asphyxiation sometime Saturday morning, Ballard said. He was found in his bed upstairs. Both mother and son had bibles
placed at their sides. Authorities found the pro wrestler dead in the basement, hanging from the pulley of a weight
machine. He died sometime late Saturday or Sunday, Ballard said. "In a community like this, it's bizarre just to have a
murder suicide -- certainly involving the death of a 7-year-old child," Ballard said. Nancy Benoit filed for a divorce in
May 2003, saying their three-year union was irrevocably broken and alleging "cruel treatment." But she later dropped the
complaint, as well as a request for a restraining order in which she charged that Benoit had threatened her and had broken
furniture in their home. In the divorce filing, she said Benoit made more than $500,000 a year as a professional wrestler
and asked for permanent custody of Daniel and child support. In his response, Benoit sought joint custody.
"He was like the dad you always wanted to have," Bill Apter, a pro-wresting writer and friend of Benoit, told FOX News.
"I just don't get this." Apter called Benoit pensive and quiet, adding: "Chris Benoit was not the type of guy that you
would profile to do anything of what is being alleged to have happened."
The World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler canceled a pay-per-view appearance at the "Vengeance" event in Houston because
of "personal reasons" a day before the trio were found dead. The bodies were found Monday afternoon in three separate
rooms of the house, off a gravel road about two miles from the Whitewater Country Club.
Neighbors said the Benoits led a low-key lifestyle. "We would see Chris walking in his yard from time to time. He wasn't
rude, but he wasn't really outwardly warm," said Alaina Jones, who lives across the street. Jimmy Baswell, who was
Benoit's driver for more than five years, placed a white wreath at the Benoits' gate. "They always seemed like they were
the happiest people," he said.
Whiteside said toxicology tests could take up to a week or longer to complete. Text messages from the wrestler seem to
have prompted the police to visit the home. "The sheriff's department will only confirm that he sent one text message
sometime around 4:30 a.m. Saturday, and I know that the WWE is saying that he sent several others, which is what prompted
them to contact the sheriff's office to go do a welfare check at the house," Saeed Ahmed of the Journal-Constitution told
FOX News.
World Wrestling Entertainment said on its Web site that it asked authorities to check on Benoit and his family after being
alerted by friends who received "several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning." The WWE, based in
Stamford, Conn., said it had been asked by authorities not to release further information on the deaths.
Benoit was born in Montreal. He was a former world heavyweight champion, Intercontinental champion and held several
tag-team titles over his career. He was known by several names including "The Canadian Crippler." "WWE extends its
sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy," the company said
in a statement on its Web site. Benoit had maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct
World Championship Wrestling. The Fayette County Tax Assessors Office lists the value of the house, situated on more than
8.5 acres, at nearly $900,000. The WWE canceled its live "Monday Night RAW" card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network
aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling telecast on June 25.
Benoit's wife managed several wrestlers and went by the stage name "Woman," The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
They met when her then-husband, Kevin Sullivan, drew up a script that had them involved in a relationship as part of an
ongoing story line on World Championship Wrestling. Sullivan spoke to FOXNews.com late Tuesday and expressed shock and
sadness over the death of his ex-wife, who he married in 1985. From his home in Tavernier, Fla., Sullivan said he had not
spoken to his ex-wife since their split. “It’s surreal,” said Sullivan, who did not have children with Nancy Benoit. “She
was a nice person. We just went our separate ways. She was nice and very loving and I’m sure she was a good mother.”
Sullivan said he did not know Benoit well outside the ring. “I never associated with him, so I really don’t know his
personality,” he said. … “[But] I’m sad for all three, especially the child.”
Benoit, who has two other children from a prior relationship, became a standout at an early age among wrestling prospects
who trained in the dungeon basement of the house where fellow Canadians and professional wrestlers Owen and Bret Hart
trained. Owen Hart was killed during a wrestling event in 1999. "He was like a family member to me, and everyone in my
family is taking it real hard," said Bret Hart, a five-time champion with the now-defunct World Wrestling Federation.

Just two days after seeing the ECW World Title slip out of his grasp at Vengeance: Night of Champions, CM Punk had one
goal: to reestablish himself as “the man.” “It’s time CM Punk became the man in ECW,” Punk told WWE.com before heading to
the ring Tuesday night. “I’ve kind of been the uncrowned man for quite a while, but I haven’t been able to nail it down
and pull the trigger on the big one. Now is the time for me to make it happen.” And did he ever. Taking on New Breed
leader Elijah Burke, Punk scored the final two pinfalls in a best-of-three-falls match to be named the No. 1 contender for
Johnny Nitro’s freshly-won ECW World Title. With both Superstars splitting the first two falls and momentum on the
Straightedge Superstar’s side, Punk went for the knockout blow, trying to catch Burke in a GTS. Burke elbowed his way out
of it, and after a series of counters by the pair, Punk was able to stun Burke and hit the GTS for the pinfall win. After
the match, Nitro came down to ringside and posed with the ECW World Title, staring down Punk.
The AT&T Center crowd witnessed two special appearances by WWE Superstars on ECW on Sci Fi. First, WWE Champion John Cena
visited Raw for the first time in more than a year, challenging the new ECW World Champion Nitro to a Champion vs.
Champion exhibition match. Allegedly suffering from a high fever and cold symptoms, Nitro took it to the WWE Champion. He
showed traces of new-found hardcore improvisation, throwing the Chain Gang commander into the ringside steps. Nitro’s
attempts to grind Cena down just couldn’t close the deal, as Cena battled back, setting up Nitro for a FU, but Nitro was
able to counter it by flipping out of the slam and sending a kick to Cena’s head from the second rope. But Nitro could not
capitalize. As he set Cena on the top rope for a superplex, The Champ shoved Nitro down to the mat, and caught the ECW
Champion with a leg drop from the top rope. Cena quickly hooked Nitro in the STFU submission to score the victory. Nitro
appeared later in the program to issue a warning to his ECW counterparts, saying that his loss to Cena was a fluke, due to
his illness. He also said it didn’t matter who was named No. 1 contender to his title. “I am the ECW World Champion, and
no one can take that away from me,” Nitro proudly boasted.
Fans witnessed a meeting of the minds between former New York City schoolteacher Matt Striker and WWE Hall of Famer
“Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Striker came down to ringside during Piper’s appearance with a birthday cake in hand. He told the
“Hot Rod” of his admiration for the Scot and his storied career. Then he asked Piper to join in singing “Happy Birthday”
to celebrate Striker’s recent birthday. Piper lead the San Antonio fans in a round of singing, then smashed the chocolate
cake in the teacher’s face just before the final verse. As Striker tried to clean the fudge frosting out of his eyes,
Boogeyman appeared from a cloud of sulfur smoke at ringside, and headed after the former educator. Striker’s escape was
cut off by Piper, who tossed him back into the ring, where the pit dweller powerbombed Striker into his cake debris. Then,
as a special birthday gift for Striker, Boogeyman fed the teacher a mouthful of nightcrawlers – no gift wrap required, and
no gift receipt.

ECW World Champion Johnny Nitro couldn’t stop smiling as he emerged from the locker room. His long brown locks were still
drenched in sweat from his hard-fought victory earlier that night over legendary ECW Original Tommy Dreamer – an opponent
that his chief rival, CM Punk, had chosen for him in a “Pick Your Poison”-themed ECW on Sci Fi. In turn, Nitro’s
handpicked “poison” for Punk was Kevin Thorn – and he had just watched the Straightedge Superstar impale the powerful
vampire. Nitro seemed impressed, but his smile slowly faded as his eyes locked on Punk. The No. 1 contender to the ECW
World Title did not take his eyes off the champion either, and challenged Nitro to get into the ring. But Punk was then
blindsided by Thorn, and would have been double-teamed by him and Nitro if he hadn’t fought off the powerhouse. Nitro
backed away from a likely attack on his challenger as Punk invited him to duke it out. As our fans at the American
Airlines Center in Dallas chanted “CM Punk! CM Punk!” Nitro stuck his nose up and held his – and he would stress his – ECW
World Title for Punk and the whole world to see. “You may have won your match, Punk, but I’m still the champ,” he seemed
to say. “I’m the ECW World Champion, and you’re not.”
The latest duel between Punk and Nitro was essentially a draw as both men beat their respective “poisons.” Their rivalry,
which began when Nitro defeated Punk for the vacant ECW World Title at Vengeance: Night of Champions, has only heated up
in recent weeks as both men have traded verbal jabs at one another. They will have the opportunity to throw five-knuckled
jabs when they wage war again over the ECW World Title at The Great American Bash on July 22.
But tonight, both young Superstars were content with having other men literally fight their battles for them. In some
ways, it wasn’t surprising that Punk chose Dreamer to test Nitro. Punk, a fan of the original incarnation of ECW, respects
Dreamer and the legacy he has built, and the two teamed together with Sandman in a Six-Man Tag Team Tables Match against
the New Breed at One Night Stand. Nitro, however, doesn’t have much respect for Dreamer and ECW’s history. Dreamer, a
former ECW World Champion who has broken his back and neck for the promotion, is among those who have questioned Nitro’s
toughness and whether he was “ECW enough” to be ECW World Champion. Nitro, in turn, has been on a mission to show
naysayers that he represents the evolution of the Land of the Extreme.
Dreamer took Nitro to the extreme – but the focused A-lister showed Dreamer that he was redefining extreme with his
athleticism. Dreamer learned that Nitro’s pretty boy looks, stylish fur and Hollywood shades could be deceiving as the ECW
Champion tortured him by targeting his left shoulder before ultimately flattening him with a corkscrew neckbreaker.
In Kevin Thorn, Nitro had a brutal, sadistic opponent who was well-acquainted with Punk. The two had battled several
times, and Nitro knew Thorn would be relentless and remorseless in his assault. Thorn had been on a reign of terror,
bulldozing all foes since he had left the New Breed months ago. He overwhelmed Punk for much of their contest with his
power. But the Straightedge Superstar – at the urging of his cheering legion of supporters – shook with adrenaline and
showed the heart that has won fans the world over. As he stood victorious in the ring, Punk looked at Nitro. He definitely
had Nitro's undivided attention and had won him over. But make no mistake; the ECW World Champion is no fan of Punk. He
knows the Straightedge Superstar is the biggest threat to his championship reign. For now, these two young Superstars are
only exchanging glares. What will be next as they try to gain an advantage in the weeks before their clash at The Great
American Bash?

Seeing extreme icon Tommy Dreamer drag a garbage can to ringside had to momentarily give ECW World Champion Johnny Nitro
second thoughts accepting this Extreme Rules Match for ECW on Sci Fi. But with no rules, no disqualifications, and no help
from referees, the Hollywood, Calif., Superstar used the occasion to prove his extreme mettle to his critics that
questioned his hardcore credentials. After weathering an early storm of blows from a steel crutch from Dreamer, Nitro
rebounded to deliver a corkscrew moonsault from the ringside barrier. Then, after Dreamer recovered and pelted the
champion with trash can blows, Nitro was able to reverse Dreamer’s momentum and send him crashing into a steel chair. The
champion quickly rolled up the ECW Original and used some leverage from the bottom rope – perfectly legal in Extreme Rules
Matches – to gain the pinfall.
Meanwhile, his ECW World Title opponent at The Great American Bash, CM Punk, had his hands full with Stevie Richards.
Richards had the Straightedge Superstar on edge throughout their matchup, making Punk escape from a dangerous leg lock
that had him near submission. But with Nitro watching from a locker room monitor, Punk rallied past Richards, scoring the
pinfall with his patented GTS. With less than two weeks until The Great American Bash, the rivalry between the champion
and Punk continues to get hotter.
The evening on Sci Fi started off in a fitting way for New Orleans, a city known for the macabre and occult. Your teacher,
Matt Striker, invited out his strange rival, Boogeyman, for a lecture. Keeping his school desk between him and The
Bottomless Pit dweller, Striker tried to reason with Boogeyman and educate him about the importance his favorite snack,
worms, have on the ecosystem. But after seeing his lessons falling on deaf ears and the macabre monster stalking him
closer, Striker introduced his new pupil, the intimidating Big Daddy V. Striker struck Boogeyman in the back to get his
attention, then Big Daddy V attacked the worm-eater. The monster slammed Boogeyman into the teacher’s desk and then threw
him through a chalkboard to the floor.
Also making his long-awaited ECW debut was The Miz, who defeated the Italian spitfire Nunzio. The former reality TV star,
drafted to ECW weeks earlier, had Extreme Expose’s attention before the match, and got Nunzio’s attention early on in
their contest. Miz caught the Full-Blooded Italian in his swinging neckbreaker, called the “Mizard of Oz,” to gain his
first-ever ECW win.
Elijah Burke also snapped his recent slump, scoring a victory over Balls Mahoney. After trading blows early in the match
with the Chair-Swinging Freak, Burke was able to dodge Mahoney’s leg drop from the top rope, then deliver the Elijah
Express to the stunned New Jersey native to score the pin.

CM Punk notched a win in his final contest before destiny calls him to his title match at The Great American Bash. Punk
has been rolling toward his showdown with ECW World Champion John Morrison, making Elijah Burke his latest victim.
Following a three-count, Punk stood victorious while Burke lay in his own frustrations — frustrations that return only a
week after breaking his losing streak against Balls Mahoney.
Tonight, in an announcement like no other, the ECW World Champion known as Johnny Nitro officially renamed himself
John Morrison. Not only did Morrison tell our fans about his new identity, but he delivered a special message to CM Punk –
Morrison will be victorious at The Great American Bash this Sunday. ECW will never see Johnny Nitro again. At the press
conference, Morrison rocked a whole new look. He told our fans he was given his name at birth, and because of it, he was
destined to accomplish great things. “At 4 months old, I could walk. At 8 months old, I could run. How many people here
could say they did that?” Morrison boldly asked. “As my mind grew up, so did my body. As a matter of fact I was so gifted
intellectually, I skipped the first grade. I advanced straight to third grade. In high school, I was elected student body
president… and I didn’t even run. That’s how much of a natural leader I am.” The ECW World Champion continued to explain
how he’s used his leadership skills throughout his education up until now, debuting himself as the new face of ECW.
Morrison proclaimed that there’s no doubt in his mind he’ll defeat CM Punk at Sunday’s Great American Bash. The new face
of ECW then pondered the meaning of the Straightedge Superstar’s name. “Honestly, I just don’t get it. What does CM stand
for? Chick master? Definitely not that. Chases men? Definitely getting a little warmer. Cookie Monster. Common man.
Completely miserable,” Morrison smugly said. “And Punk… What is a punk? A punk is a disrespectful little kid with lame
tattoos that doesn’t know his place.” Suddenly, CM Punk entered the ring to confront the reinvented ECW World Champion.
Morrison promised he wouldn’t lay a finger on Punk until Sunday’s Bash, and provoked Punk, asking him to explain his name.
As Morrison handed Punk the microphone, the ECW Champ hit Punk twice, knocking him to the ground. After the cheap shots,
Morrison annihilated Punk with a brutal corkscrew neckbreaker, leaving Punk down and out.
Kevin Thorn took a bite out of ECW Original Tommy Dreamer. Dreamer was coming off a tough
loss to Morrison in an Extreme Rules Match just one week earlier. Thorn continues to have success as a bat flying solo.
Big Daddy V had a big performance in his first ECW on Sci Fi match (no pun intended). After Matt Striker proudly
introduced his massive pupil, Big Daddy V made a meal out of his opponent. The Miz also had an eventful night of his own,
when Extreme Exposé treated him to a private dance.

Hot off the heels of his win at The Great American Bash, ECW Champion John Morrison was declared the new face of Extreme
on ECW. Since he’s already defeated CM Punk twice, Morrison is offering a 15 Minutes of Fame Challenge to all those who
dare to take on the self-proclaimed fighting champion. “A true champion doesn’t just fight the same guy over and over
again. No, a true champion takes on all comers. And I’m a fighting champion,” Morrison said. “To prove this point, I’m
going to give someone an opportunity to claim their very own 15 minutes of fame. If anyone can last 15 minutes in the ring
with me, or somehow beat me in 15 minutes, well they’re entitled to a future ECW Championship match,” said the ECW Champ.
Morrison claimed he ran into an athlete who actually intimidated him in the locker room area, so the ECW Champ gave him
his deserved 15 Minutes of Fame. Well, 15 minutes quickly turned into 34 seconds, as Morrison delivered a cheap shot to
the local competitor, followed by a vicious corkscrew neckbreaker to pin him in just more than half a minute. “Well, you
gave it your best shot, kid. But you couldn’t get the job done, and that was your brush with greatness,” Morrison
smirked. While Morrison and Elijah Burke lost a tag team match to Punk and Tommy Dreamer on Tuesday night, the loss won’t
stop Morrison from continuing his role as the new face of Extreme. “My mission is to make believers out of all of you.
Last week, I came out here and told you all that I am destined to do great things. This past week at The Great American
Bash, I proved it when I defeated CM Punk and retained the ECW Championship,” Morrison said. Who else will accept the ECW
Champion’s 15 Minutes of Fame Challenge? Will anyone be able to tame ECW’s new face of Extreme, John Morrison?
ECW Champion John Morrison may be the new face of Extreme, but that face formed into a grimace when CM Punk pinned Elijah
Burke in the main event of ECW on Sci Fi. Though CM Punk fell just short of attaining gold at The Great American Bash, he
had a chance for some redemption Tuesday night. In a match that featured Punk teaming up with ECW Original Tommy Dreamer
to take on two young, cocky Superstars in Morrison & Burke, the Straightedge Superstar prevailed. It seems Punk has
Burke’s number, covering him for the three-count in the second straight week, but the number he really wants is John
Morrison’s. He may not have that quite yet, but if the look on Morrison’s face after the loss is any indication, perhaps
the determined Punk has taken the first step toward that goal.
Kevin Thorn looked like he thought Stevie Richards would be an easy meal. Richards, however,
overcame a contest mostly dominated by the vampire enthusiast, winning his way toward being a true threat for the ECW
roster.
Mike Mizanin may be a force worth taking seriously, as well… at least in terms of cornering the market for dates. The Miz
had an unforgettable night, notching a win against Nunzio and continuing to mold the hearts of Extreme Exposé.
Big Daddy V had an unforgettable night of his own, dominating in a Handicap Match and making his teacher, Matt Striker,
very proud. According to Striker, Big Daddy V has disposed of Boogeyman, who has been missing in action since being forced
to trade in his worms for a mouthful of chalkboard two weeks ago. Thanks to his favorite student, Striker and Big Daddy V
can sleep soundly at night without fear of what may be lurking in their closets… or can they?

John Morrison kicked off ECW on Sci Fi much like last week, barely breaking a sweat when he faced a less-than-intimidating
opponent in his 15 Minutes of Fame Challenge. Things were very different afterward, however, this time around. Tommy
Dreamer and CM Punk both approached the ECW Champion, arguing that each of them could last 15 minutes in the ring with
Morrison. Their cases made, Morrison announced a Triple Threat Match between the two Superstars and Elijah Burke – a man
he feels deserves the opportunity.
Next week’s action should prove interesting, with CM Punk earning his way into the ECW Championship picture by defeating
Tommy Dreamer and Elijah Burke in the main event Triple Threat Match. CM Punk has had two golden opportunities against
John Morrison, both of which fell short at Vengeance: Night of Champions and The Great American Bash. Before he can prove
that the third time is a charm, though, he must last 15 minutes in the squared circle against his rival. And this will be
his last chance, as he has promised never to challenge Morrison again if he fails this time around.
Stevie Richards silenced any of his critics who called the previous week’s win over Kevin Thorn a fluke. Getting a second
consecutive win against the fanged freak raises a red flag for all Superstars on the ECW roster. While Richards moves up
as one of the hottest Superstars in sports-entertainment right now, Kevin Thorn is lying in a coffin of frustrations. His
expression alone showed our fans what the vampire enthusiast is feeling, losing two straight to the ECW Original after
such a successful solo run. Perhaps Richards truly has staked the creature of the night.
Following Richards’s big win, our fans learned that something can scare a 400-plus-pound man. After proving to be too much
for even three men to handle in a Handicap Match, Big Daddy V was spooked by Boogeyman, sporting a new and scarier look,
when the worm aficionado rushed into the ring. While nothing may compare to the physical stature of the heavy father
figure, Boogeyman’s mind games certainly have been able to break Matt Striker’s favorite student.
The Miz earned his second win in as many weeks when he defeated ECW Original Balls Mahoney. Once again, he showed he was
the ladies man, though he lost track of Kelly Kelly for a moment, who seemed distracted by Mahoney’s condition.
Nevertheless, The Miz was able to get her attention away from the Chair Swinging Freak and back to him.

The future is looking bright for the Straightedge Superstar. On ECW, CM Punk not only survived John Morrison’s 15 Minutes
of Fame challenge, he defeated the ECW Champion. Punk’s win earned him a chance at Morrison’s ECW gold at SummerSlam on
Aug. 26. With just five seconds left in the 15 Minutes of Fame challenge, Punk hit Morrison with a devastating G.T.S. to
win. But to Punk, it doesn’t matter if it took him 15 seconds or 15 minutes. He’d openly stated this would be his last
opportunity at a chance for Morrison’s gold. And now, with the win, Punk may really make Morrison sing the blues. Before
their match, Morrison, the self-proclaimed guru of greatness, pondered if Punk could handle his 15 Minutes of Fame
challenge. He proclaimed that the end was near for Punk, and that no one would remember his name. Punk countered,
promising no one would ever forget the name CM Punk. For now, the Straightedge Superstar shines brightly above the
self-proclaimed shaman of sexy. It’s clearly Punk’s time, as he knocks on the door of Morrison’s so-called palace of
wisdom. Punk will face Morrison at SummerSlam. Will Morrison – the new face of Extreme – prove his fame is infinite? Or
will Punk prove his focus and dedication are deserving of the ECW Championship?
Three wasn’t lucky for Stevie Richards, who fell victim to ECW’s top vampire enthusiast. As the ECW Original talked to
Joey Styles and Tazz about his consecutive wins, he and his winning ways were cut short when Kevin Thorn attacked him in
the locker room area. Thorn fled like a bat out of hell, leaving Richards in a sea of people trying to help him recover.
Richards wasn’t the only Superstar to experience a scary attack. Boogeyman kicked off ECW on Sci Fi with a quick victory.
His celebration was even quicker, as Big Daddy V surprised the worm aficionado from behind, flattening the monster. Big
Daddy V’s teacher, Matt Striker, looked on proudly as his pupil got revenge for being spooked by Boogeyman in the last few
weeks.
The Miz extended his win streak to three when he pinned ECW Original Balls Mahoney. Despite his win in the ring, he might
be feeling some loss in Kelly Kelly, who shared a moment with the Chair Swinging Freak. Has his luck run its course with

There’s a new General Manager in the land of Extreme. Under orders from Mr. McMahon, his Executive Assistant Jonathan
Coachman named Armando Estrada ECW’s new GM at the Mohegan Sun Arena. “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Armando Estrada,
but you people can refer to me as the new ECW General Manager,” he announced. “You can refer to me as the Hardcore
dictator… el comandante. Whatever you call me, everyone will know me as Extreme!” Estrada kicked off his tenure by
promoting his first ECW Championship match with a contract signing by ECW Champ John Morrison and his SummerSlam opponent,
CM Punk. After introducing the self-proclaimed Guru of Greatness and the Straightedge Superstar, the SummerSlam opponents
traded barbs and signed the contract, but Estrada had an Extreme surprise for them. “Tonight you’re both going to be in
competition, only it’s not going to be against one another,” Estrada explained. “John Morrison, tonight you go one-on-one
with the Boogeyman. As for you, CM Punk, I hope you’re ready, amigo, because your match is up next and you’re facing none
other than Bid Daddy V.” Estrada’s double main event shook things up in the land of Extreme. First, CM Punk faced Big
Daddy V, and the Straightedge Superstar was tossed around the ECW ring like a ragdoll. Big Daddy V beat Punk by count-out
after Punk crashed into the announce table and remained writhing around the floor in pain. Big Daddy V has been
demolishing his opponents on ECW lately, sometimes as many as three at once. Clearly, Big Daddy V has been the biggest
obstacle Punk has ever encountered on ECW. Later, ECW Champion John Morrison faced Boogeyman. Morrison was disqualified
for shoving the referee, and nearly was wormed by his opponent from the Bottomless Pit. Now, the ECW Champion has lost two
matches in a row, as he was defeated last week by Punk during the 15 Minutes of Fame challenge. CM Punk and ECW Champion
John Morrison faced daunting challenges on ECW this week, but the most meaningful test will come on Aug. 26 at SummerSlam
in East Rutherford, N.J., when they will battle each other. Until then, will ECW’s new GM, Armando Estrada, have any other
tricks hidden up his sleeve for Punk and Morrison?
While Punk’s night was over after the beating he took, Big Daddy V was just warming up. Later in the night, ECW’s bully
decimated Tommy Dreamer in one-on-one action. Dreamer had requested of Estrada to be first in line to challenge the winner
of the SummerSlam encounter between ECW Champion John Morrison and CM Punk, but ECW’s General Manager told Dreamer he
believed he was lazy. In an effort to prove himself, Dreamer sprinted his way to the ring, only to be flattened by Big
Daddy V.
Mirroring Big Daddy V’s impressive streak, Steven Richards looked to continue his winning ways against Kevin Thorn. After
two impressive victories over Thorn in recent weeks, Richards was hoping to make it three in a row against the vamp
Superstar. Thorn had other plans and finally picked up a victory against Richards. But the angry Thorn continued to
unleash his fury on Richards, forcing the referee to reverse his decision and award the contest to Steven Richards.
Balls Mahoney’s interactions with Kelly Kelly continued this week on ECW on Sci Fi, and the ECW Original seems to have
sparked a friendship with one of the Sexiest Women on Television, much to the disgust of The Miz, Layla and Brooke.
Speaking of romance, the search for the illegitimate child of Mr. McMahon found its way to ECW. Elijah Burke discussed the
possibility that he is a McMahon with Jonathan Coachman. Is it possible that many years ago Mr. McMahon had an encounter
that led to his siring an Extreme bastard?

Boogeyman when Morrison got the three-count on Punk. The win could be a resurrection of sorts for the titleholder, who was
searching for inspiration as the Biggest Party of the Summer quickly approaches. Our fans will learn Sunday if this is an
awakening or if the third time is not a charm for the ECW Champion when Morrison and Punk square off once more for the
gold.
While Tuesday night ended with a crash of lightning, a roll of thunder started the evening as Big Daddy V stomped into the
ring to take on Tommy Dreamer in an Extreme Rules Match. Much to the ECW Original’s disappointment, Matt Striker’s protégé
beat Dreamer at his own game. Absolutely nothing has slowed down the monstrous student, and despite having as much
experience as any other ECW Superstar, Dreamer was another name to add to the beast’s menu.
Balls Mahoney may have earned three wins on ECW on Sci Fi if the cards fall the way he wants them to. Mahoney got the
better of Elijah Burke after having struggled against the cocky Superstar ever since the self-proclaimed Guiding Light of
ECW joined Tuesday night’s roster. Just earlier, the Chair-Swinging Freak learned he could very well be Mr. McMahon’s
illegitimate son. If being in that position wasn’t enough good news for the ECW Original, an unusually nice Miz told him
Kelly might go out with him if he is in fact a McMahon. Kelly didn’t answer, but they locked eyes and smiled as she parted.

ECW Champion John Morrison couldn’t seem to get much higher after beating CM Punk in their third straight match for the
gold at SummerSlam. The self-proclaimed shaman of sexy even kicked off ECW on Sci Fi with a bold challenge. Just two days
after defending his title at the Biggest Party of the Summer, Morrison offered a championship match to the winner of a
Fatal Four Way bout between Punk, The Miz, Big Daddy V and Boogeyman.
CM Punk was seething after his loss to Morrison at SummerSlam, and vowed to get another opportunity at the ECW
Championship. After a hard-fought battle against his three opponents, CM Punk pinned The Miz, and gained another coveted
chance at the gold.
Someone whose luck changed for the worse this week was Balls Mahoney. One week after defeating Elijah Burke, the Chair
Swinging Freak fell to the Experience. To be fair to the ECW Original, his mind may not have been on in-ring action. His
eyes locked with Kelly Kelly’s once more just moments before Burke got him with the three-count. Mahoney walked out to his
match to chants of “loser,” courtesy of Brooke and Layla, but Kelly wishing him good luck quickly overshadowed the insults.
Kevin Thorn emerged victorious against nemesis Stevie Richards. For more than a month, Richards has tormented Thorn,
earning upset victory after upset victory. Thorn may very well be back to his winning ways, but has the last chapter been

After three title opportunities on pay-per-view and a slew of other contests against ECW Champion John Morrison,
persistence paid off in a big way for CM Punk this week on ECW on Sci Fi. In his last chance at the title, the
straightedge No. 1 contender stunned the self-proclaimed Shaman of Sexy to capture his first taste of championship gold.
“This was a grand slam, not a home run,” new ECW Champion CM Punk told WWE.com. “This is an accomplishment — certainly the
greatest I’ve ever had in my career. “This title is vindication,” he added, just moments after his victory. “All those
times coming up short, that’s what got me here. That’s what got me to train harder and kick out when I needed to. That’s
what makes me a champion.” As if months of unfulfilled championship dreams against Morrison weren’t enough to put Punk at
a psychological disadvantage, the odds were stacked even higher against the challenger by ECW General Manager Armando
Estrada. Just moments before the title match, Estrada wished Punk luck and informed the Straightedge Superstar that it
would be his final opportunity. Intent on reaching the pinnacle of the Land of the Extreme, CM Punk assured Estrada that
“luck is for losers” and the challenger headed toward a do or die situation in Cincinnati. By the end of a fast-paced
match between two of ECW’s finest, the Straightedge Superstar capitalized on an errant move by Morrison and landed his
signature blow for the fateful three-count. With the endless crowd in the U.S. Bank Arena applauding the tenacious,
aggressive new champion, CM Punk (almost in disbelief) dropped to his knees in the ring and absorbed the definitive moment
of his young career. Soon after, he joined the Punk enthusiasts at ringside, embracing the support of the die hard ECW
fans. Watch exclusive footage of CM Punk's celebration. In what was an undeniably momentous milestone in ECW’s history,
the Straightedge Superstar whose only addiction is competition may have earned a new golden obsession on ECW on Sci Fi:
the ECW Championship. But, always the competitor, CM Punk realizes that this is just the first step in a series of
challenges that lie ahead. Recognizing that ECW is full of zealous Superstars anxious for their moment in the spotlight,
the new champion is more excited than worried about the impending competition. “It looks like I’ve got to set some new
goals,” he said. “Believe me, I welcome any challenge.”
The self-proclaimed Shaman of Sexy will now have to rely completely on his furs and boas for his appearance with the
absence of the title around his waist. The disappointing loss comes just more than a week after Morrison retained the ECW
Championship at SummerSlam in a highly anticipated match. As the new proprietor of the gold, CM Punk can let that chip
fall from his shoulder as he starts entertaining other Superstars’ challenges.
Elijah Burke was another Superstar who had a big Tuesday night. Teaming up with Kevin Thorn, ECW’s Guiding Light put away
Originals Steven Richards & Tommy Dreamer. The win for the Experience proves Burke is truly on a roll.
Boogeyman kicked off ECW on Sci Fi with a match against Matt Striker. When the Extreme Educator was chased outside of the
ring, Big Daddy V surprised the monster with a vicious clothesline. The referee immediately called the match in
Boogeyman’s favor by way of disqualification. However, when the bell sounded, the worm enthusiast was the only one who
seemed broken up.
The Miz continued his impressive win streak with a victory against Balls Mahoney. The contest was balanced for the most
part until the tables took a quick turn and The Miz polished off the ECW Original with a Reality Check. After being
proclaimed the winner of the match, The Miz took the microphone and for the second straight week, corrected the
announcement, stating, “And the loser is Balls Mahoney.” Kelly Kelly quickly rushed to Mahoney’s side, only to have The
Miz pull her away moments later.

CM Punk may forgive Elijah Burke for interrupting his discussion with General Manager Armando Estrada to kick off ECW on
Sci Fi, but you can be sure he will not forgive the Experience for three disrespectful shoves when it comes time for the
two to face at Sunday’s pay-per-view. The ECW Champion responded with a Enzuiguri that sent Burke out of the ring via
airmail.
Punk continued his sneak preview of Unforgiven in Tuesday night’s main event when he and Stevie Richards took on Burke and
Kevin Thorn. ECW’s self-proclaimed Guiding Light could only look on as his tag team partner fell victim to the
Straightedge Superstar’s G.T.S. – sending him snoring toward the nearest coffin. We can only imagine what CM Punk has in
store for Burke when he puts his ECW Championship on the line for the first time.
The Miz earned a dominant win against Tommy Dreamer. Kelly Kelly, though, was the party pooper during his celebration.
Extreme Exposé ushered Kelly against her will to and from the ring for his contest. Moments later, Balls Mahoney turned
her frown upside down when he gave her a Balls teddy bear. She wished him luck, but unfortunately for the ECW Original, it
didn’t come through.
Mahoney was pitted against Kelly’s ex-boyfriend Mike Knox, making his return to ECW on Sci Fi and determined to have a big
night. The Miz walked out to observe Mahoney’s match and just as Balls caught him, Knox capitalized on his opponent with a
devastating kick and a pin.
Matt Striker shined in one of the quickest matches in recent ECW history. After rolling up Nunzio for the win, Striker was
joined in the ring by his "heavy," Big Daddy V, who was craving some scraps. As he punished Nunzio, Boogeyman appeared on
the screen with a rendition of Humpty Dumpty that would leave a grown man scared of the dark. The two monsters will face
to settle their rivalry next Tuesday.

With the eyes of the Land of the Extreme’s most fervent competitors locked on CM Punk’s coveted ECW Championship, General
Manager Armando Estrada announced an unprecedented Elimination Chase to determine the No. 1 contender for No Mercy.
Commencing tonight in a Fatal Four Way Match between Elijah Burke, Tommy Dreamer, Kevin Thorn and Stevie Richards, Punk’s
Unforgiven opponent seized victory and ousted Richards from the golden competition. Burke himself, with his boastful
comments, may have been the individual who actually drew out his Elimination Chase rivals at the beginning of the night.
Claiming that Punk’s Unforgiven win was a fluke, the Experience argued he would beat the Straightedge Superstar for the
ECW Title. His outspokenness quickly earned Burke an encounter with the macabre marauder Thorn, as well as both Originals
Dreamer and Richards. Ultimately, the interrupting ECW General Manager mandated a three-week competition between all four
Superstars that would begin this week on ECW on Sci Fi and determine who would face champion CM Punk at No Mercy. The
loser of each week’s Elimination Chase match would be cut from the running until there was only one man left standing.
Immediately after the announcement, a four-man battle began that pit the title-focused combatants against one another in
the middle of Atlanta’s Phillips Arena. As Estrada warned, defeated ECW Original Richards was eliminated from the Chase
after being pinned by Burke (with a seemingly strategic assist from Thorn). Just moments after his victory, the
self-proclaimed Guiding Light of ECW bumped into the man Burke just might be facing at No Mercy: CM Punk. With the ECW
Championship slung over his shoulder, a confident Punk offered his luck to his rival – luck, of course, being for losers,
according to the Straightedge Superstar. He may not believe in luck, but it may be CM Punk’s fortune to defend his gold
against Elijah Burke one more time, live on pay-per-view in just three weeks. Who will be the next man to fall as the
Elimination Chase to No Mercy continues? Which two men will come one step closer to a title opportunity against the
Straightedge Superstar?
ECW on Sci Fi featured another huge match – literally – when Big Daddy V took on Boogeyman. The worm enthusiast put up a
good fight, but the massive monster proved to be too much man for him when the student flattened the closet lurker. The
match served as the climax thus far to one of ECW’s biggest rivalries, and as proof that there truly is nothing that can
stop Big Daddy V.
Extreme Exposé put on a show for our fans once again. The best seat in the house, though, belonged
to Kelly Kelly’s Balls Mahoney bear, which sat in the corner of the ring. After the performance, Mahoney redeemed last
week’s loss to Mike Knox with a convincing win. But his real reason for celebrating that night came when he grabbed the
microphone and asked Kelly out. She smiled, then got pulled backstage by The Miz and the other Exposé members before she
could answer. Nonetheless, Mahoney announced that he would take that as a yes.

Elijah Burke is licking his lips as No Mercy comes closer and closer. After stealing the win in the Fatal Four Way last
week, Burke once again notched the pin, covering Kevin Thorn for the three-count in the opening Triple Threat Match. Now,
only Tommy Dreamer stands between ECW’s Guiding Light and his second ECW Championship opportunity. With the experience and
heart that the ECW Original brings to the table, however, that could be much easier said than done… especially when he
managed to beat the odds and survive against two ruthless competitors in Burke and Thorn thus far.
ECW Champion CM Punk was certainly watching early on ECW on Sci Fi as Kevin Thorn became the next expelled from the
Elimination Chase to No Mercy. But before Punk could narrow his focus to one of two potential No. 1 contenders in Tommy
Dreamer and Elijah Burke, the champion was obliterated by an even larger threat: Big Daddy V. Suddenly, it became largely
apparent that General Manager Armando Estrada’s method to determine Punk’s next challenger might have excluded one very
big chaser for the gold. Early in the night, the Straightedge Superstar was fixed to the television monitors in the locker
room area as ECW Original Dreamer battled a pair of merciless competitors – Thorn and Burke – in a Triple Threat Match. As
the two former New Breed affiliates resolved their unsettled hostilities (cited by Thorn last week), Dreamer gained the
foothold he needed against such stacked odds. The self-proclaimed Guiding Light ultimately capitalized on Dreamer’s DDT to
Thorn and prevailed in the three-man melee. Burke stole Dreamer’s thunder and pinned the bloodlusting Thorn, but also
enabled the ECW Original to keep alive his dream of once again holding the ECW Title. Just moments after witnessing the
outcome of the latest Elimination Chase battle, the ECW Champion was confronted by the gargantuan Big Daddy V and Matt
Striker. Puffing out his chest with his massive cohort beside him, the Extreme Educator tried to intimidate the ECW
Champion prior to their ECW on Sci Fi encounter. The subsequent staredown between a snarling Big Daddy V and CM Punk would
later turn much more physical. Following the impromptu (and unsolicited) diatribe from Striker, the Straightedge Superstar
let his fists and roundhouse kicks do the talking for him in the ring. Punk pounded away at the Extreme Educator and
secured a decisive victory, while the voluminous threat of Big Daddy V watched from ringside. Before the ECW Champion
could even raise his title in celebration, the dominant monster made his way into the ring and flattened Punk with a
500-pound Samoan Drop. As the Land of the Extreme is spilling at the brim with chasers for the ECW Championship, both
Burke and Dreamer prepare to seal the deal on their title opportunity next week on ECW on Sci Fi. But as they embrace the
final step in the Elimination Chase to No Mercy, has Big Daddy V made the initial power moves to securing a future match
of his own with CM Punk?
The Miz kept alive his solo undefeated record since joining ECW. When his three beautiful escorts came to celebrate with
him, however, the party was cut short, as Balls Mahoney asked Kelly Kelly if she would go out with him, for a second
straight week. Unfortunately, just like the previous week, the answer remains unclear… Before a smiling Kelly could
answer, The Miz responded for her with a blow to Mahoney's mouth with the microphone. Kelly quickly rushed to his side,
checking on Mahoney’s condition, only to be pulled away as always by the self-proclaimed chick magnet and the rest of
Extreme Exposé.
Mike Knox made up for last week’s disappointing loss when he defeated Nunzio in convincing fashion.

Tonight on ECW, Mr. McMahon announced John Cena is no longer WWE Champion, yes, and the title is now vacant. Cena underwent
surgery for a complete tear of his right pectoral tendon today, and he’ll be out of action for six months to one year, yes!
With the WWE Championship now vacant, Mr. McMahon said the situation will be rectified at No Mercy. There will be a WWE
Championship match this Sunday. History will be made Sunday when a new WWE Champion will be crowned at No Mercy, live on
pay-per-view.
Just when it seemed like the Elimination Chase was over and Tommy Dreamer had earned his ticket to No Mercy, final
surprise championship chaser Big Daddy V barged his way into the competition, seizing an ECW Championship Match against CM
Punk this Sunday. After three weeks of high-stakes contention and outlasting Kevin Thorn and Stevie Richards, Dreamer made
it to what everyone believed was the last phase of the Elimination Chase. With his bandana tightly wrapped atop his head,
the ECW Original came to ECW on Sci Fi on a mission – a mission that was essentially accomplished when he defeated Elijah
Burke in the middle of the ring. To the shock of Dreamer, CM Punk and the world, General Manager Armando Estrada
interrupted the Original’s celebration with a huge surprise (literally). "The Elimination Chase is not yet over," Estrada
said, after half-heartedly congratulating Dreamer. "There is one man left to enter...Big Daddy V!" With that, the ground
of the Nutter Center shook as Big Daddy V stomped his quarter-ton frame to the ring to face the battle-worn, fatigued
Dreamer. Still strong in spirit, the ECW Original gave every last ounce of fight left in him as he attempted to bring down
Big Daddy V. Nonetheless, just one week after decimating the Straightedge Superstar live on ECW on Sci Fi, the gargantuan
Superstar proved to be too much for Dreamer, flattening him and securing the arguably tainted victory. Ironically,
following the events of the previous week, CM Punk kicked off the night by calling out Big Daddy V. In fact, the
Straightedge Superstar was prepared to deal with his very big problem, until Big Daddy V and his conniving cohort Matt
Striker informed CM Punk that the giant’s only interest is the ECW Title. Less than one hour later, the ECW Champion’s
focus was once again on Big Daddy V, but in a much different capacity. No doubt watching from the locker room area with an
intense gaze, Punk was suddenly staring at the individual that many consider the most dominant force in ECW history, but
also the new No. 1 contender to the gold. As he explained on ECW on Sci Fi, the Straightedge Superstar certainly respects
the size and strength of the 500-pounder, but can he overcome this destructive force at No Mercy?
Earlier in the night, CM Punk announced that while he was concerned with Burke and Dreamer’s contest to face him, he had a
very big problem to deal with in Big Daddy V. He sent the behemoth a message, admitting he and Striker had gotten the
champion’s attention, and then went on to defeat Mike Knox. By the end of the evening, that big problem became a big
reality.
A new chapter was written on Tuesday night in a love story that has taken more bumps than Balls Mahoney over the course of
his career. The drama may have reached its greatest obstacle in recently discovered news concerning The Miz and his
control over Extreme Exposé's careers. Our story begins with a less-than-handsome ECW Original who somehow managed to
catch Kelly Kelly’s eye. The blond bombshell would check up on Mahoney after his matches, much to The Miz’s dismay. Three
weeks ago, Balls gave Kelly a stuffed bear, which had barely left her side. Balls mustered up the nerve to ask Kelly out
two weeks ago. Thanks to her overbearing escort The Miz, however, she hasn’t been able to respond. With each opportunity,
she found herself being pulled away either by The Miz himself or by Layla and Brooke under his instruction. The latest ECW
on Sci Fi brought different results. Mahoney entered the ring and called out the love of his life, asking once more for an
answer. After a long pause, while holding her bear, Kelly said yes. In his traditional style, The Miz immediately came out
to spoil the moment. As he tried to pull Kelly from the ring, Mahoney used force to stop him and chase him to the floor.
But the self-proclaimed chick magnet got in the last laugh when he reminded Kelly that he owns Extreme Exposé’s management
contract. “If you want to go out with Balls,” he announced, “then you’re out of Extreme Exposé… Not only will you be out
of Extreme Exposé; you’ll be out of ECW.” The Miz demanded Kelly to make a decision right then and there. She followed her
manager backstage, leaving the bear behind in Mahoney’s arms. Kelly’s feelings for Balls may have cleared up, but the
situation has only become more complicated as Kelly remains stuck between her heart and her friends. Will Mahoney and
Kelly’s romance turn out to be The Princess Bride of this century, or will there prove to be too many pillars in the way?

As the world of sports-entertainment readies itself for the most interactive event of the year, the Land of the Extreme is
fully immersed in the surging excitement of Cyber Sunday. Locker room buzz was that ECW General Manager Armando Estrada
was closely monitoring the extreme roster as he prepared to soon name the contenders for CM Punk’s ECW Title. But, if one
individual made unquestionable impact on Tuesday night, it was former ECW Champion John Morrison. The Shaman of Sexy
proved why he carried the ECW Title only months before, bringing Punk to the limit in the Joe Louis Arena. Despite the
physical thrashing he received from Big Daddy V following their match at No Mercy, CM Punk clearly came ready for battle –
pain or no pain, injured ribs or not – and eager to quench his undying thirst for competition. Exchanging an array of
holds reminiscent of their high-stakes wars this past summer, both men were relentless in their attacks. The cunning
Morrison seized advantage of a Big Daddy V battle-worn CM Punk in their non-title encounter, though the champion
retaliated with his own unique in-ring arsenal. In the end, Morrison secured a victory over his Straightedge rival – less
than 24 hours before voting opens on WWE.com to determine Punk’s Cyber Sunday opponent.
Likely aware that Estrada would hand-pick candidates for a Cyber Sunday title match, Big Daddy V also seemed more
aggressive than ever on Sci Fi Tuesday night. The 500-pounder was merciless in his match with Tommy Dreamer, a mere two
days after nearly seizing the gold from CM Punk at No Mercy. Still seething from the arguably unjust outcome of the recent
Elimination Chase, the fiery ECW Original brought the fight to Big Daddy V, but couldn’t overcome the dominant behemoth.
With a sizeable victory over Dreamer, Big Daddy V sent a fairly audible message to ECW GM Estrada, who could very well
select the giant as an option in Cyber Sunday’s ECW Championship Match. Most notably, by flattening both the Straightedge
Superstar on Sunday and the Original on ECW, V demonstrated that he is still a very large threat to Punk’s title.
Estrada could easily choose either of these dangerous antagonists – Morrison or Big Daddy V – as contenders for the ECW
Championship. Might CM Punk once again face the Shaman of Sexy in a matter of weeks, this time with the title at stake?
Will Punk’s Cyber Sunday opponent be the quarter-ton, seemingly unstoppable monster, or could Dreamer’s undying spirit
have somehow managed to earn the near unattainable admiration of Estrada? The crafty Cuban has the power to choose Punk’s
possible opponents, but you, the WWE Fan Nation, will ultimately decide who will actually face the ECW Champion three
weeks from Sunday.
Balls Mahoney and Kelly Kelly saw each other for the first time since last week’s revelation concerning The Miz’s power
over her career. Still in disbelief over the blonde’s feelings for Mahoney, the self-proclaimed “chick magnet” promised he
would show Kelly what a real man is like. Moments later, The Miz stood victorious over the ECW Original after he was
counted out, but The Miz left the ring without his third escort. Kelly stayed behind to tend to Balls, who returned her
teddy bear to its rightful owner before the match began. Of course, it didn't stay in her possession for long as The Miz
booted it into the air.
Kevin Thorn defeated James Curtis in the victim’s ECW on Sci Fi debut.
All who roam the Land of the Extreme have been putting forth maximum effort in hopes of convincing Estrada that they are
deserving of the ECW Title Match at Cyber Sunday. While he will announce his choices for Punk’s opponent Wednesday at noon

All hell broke loose under the Union Jack this week, as the triad of ECW Champion CM Punk’s potential Cyber Sunday
challengers came to extreme blows on ECW on Sci Fi. In the end it was Big Daddy V who heavily punctuated a very emphatic
statement by compressing both The Miz and John Morrison and standing above their near-broken bodies. But before Big
Daddy’s attack, The Dominating Force in WWE met a sizeable match in the 7-foot form of SmackDown’s Kane. Earlier in the
day, WWE.com announced that Acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero and ECW GM Armando Estrada were reportedly negotiating
a unique deal that would enable Superstars from both brands to appear on both shows. The Big Red Monster’s presence as ECW
Champion CM Punk’s handpicked tag partner against the ECW Title Cyber Sunday candidates could have been a sign that this
deal is sealed. As The Miz, Morrison and Big Daddy filled the ECW ring at the start of the night, they each boastfully
claimed to be the individual due an ECW Championship opportunity. Moments after nearly coming to blows, the three were
interrupted by their opponents: The? Straightedge Superstar and the Big Red Machine. Failing as a cohesive unit, the Cyber
Sunday candidates were defeated by Punk and Kane after miscommunication between the self-proclaimed “chick magnet” and the
Shaman of Sexy. Following the mishap that led to the trio’s downfall, Morrison confronted Miz (still aching from a
chokeslam) in the locker room area. Calling the chick magnet a loser, the Tuesday Night Delight said he would make him a
two-time loser in the same night; Morrison challenged The Miz to a one-on-one match later on. One sucker punch from the
faux-hawked Superstar later, the two had themselves a second match on Sci Fi. With the Land of the Extreme watching
closely (and possibly countless votes at stake), The Miz and the Shaman of Sexy exchanged blows. Before they could truly
settle their newly established differences, a problem bigger than both Miz and Morrison combined made his way to the ring.
Flanked by Matt Striker, Big Daddy V invaded the ring and pummeled his fellow Cyber Sunday candidates, letting out a
ferocious bellow heard throughout the NIA Arena in the United Kingdom. This image of a bellicose 500-pound beast standing
over his fallen prey may have sent a number of WWE fans to the polls to cast their vote in his favor. Although Cyber
Sunday will be an ECW fan’s dream come true on pay-per-view, Tuesday night certainly proved to be a physically woeful
nightmare for Morrison and The Miz. Might the same be said for CM Punk in just two weeks?
Vickie Guerrero met with Armando Estrada, making it clear that she
expects him to return the favor of lending Kane and Jesse & Festus by sending some ECW Superstars to SmackDown. Jesse &
Festus broke onto the scene with a convincing win over Elijah Burke & Nunzio. Perhaps most impressive in their win was the
exploding force Festus employed between the bells. How will Estrada repay the favor? What impact will SmackDown's success
on ECW on Sci Fi have on the Land of the Extreme?
At Cyber Sunday, our fans' dreams come alive and on ECW on Sci Fi, Balls Mahoney’s dream came true. Despite knowing the
consequences that she may face, Kelly Kelly asked Balls out. She now can only wait for the fate that lies ahead, courtesy

The Big Red Machine made his second straight ECW on Sci Fi appearance Tuesday night when he took on one of the
participants in the race for an ECW Title opportunity against CM Punk – Big Daddy V. The two monsters met in the ring last
week when Kane and Punk faced Daddy, The Miz & John Morrison in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match. Kane and Big Daddy V’s
altercation certainly foreshadowed a contest of colossal proportions for this week; however, no one was able to see the
climax of their clash. During the match, Mark Henry marched out to the squared circle in an attempt to shake the Land of
the Extreme even more than his fellow fiery SmackDown Superstar has. The crowd of three in the ring quickly became a party
of four when The Great Khali joined the other giants. Kane was the man left standing, but this was only the beginning.
Later in the evening, The Great Khali, who was more furious than ever, was seen backstage raving to Ranjin Singh about the
events. Big Daddy V and his mentor Matt Striker were also caught away from the ring after the exchange. The four beasts
will meet on the next ECW on Sci Fi in ECW’s Monster Mash Battle Royal. Don’t miss what is sure to be one of the most
frighteningly immense matches in sports-entertainment history as we find out which monster reigns supreme.
A night where the ECW Title Match Cyber Sunday candidates looked to garner last minute votes turned into an all-out melee
that resulted in champion CM Punk standing as the prominent party. It all started with the personal advocacy of the
self-proclaimed “chick magnet,” who scolded the contractually obliged Kelly Kelly for asking Balls Mahoney out on a date
one week earlier. The arena echoed with the faux-hawked Superstar’s banter of Cyber Sunday nomination and his promises to
not fire, but make life miserable for the dancing Diva – whose contract belongs to The Miz. This excessive, arrogant
tirade was soon interrupted by the boasts of Miz’s equally prideful fellow candidate, John Morrison. Claiming that it's
common knowledge that no one will be voting for The Miz to face Punk at Cyber Sunday, the Shaman of Sexy turned his
attention to the blond bombshell. "Why do you waste your time with a loser like this?" Morrison asked Kelly. "You should
raise your consciousness to a higher plane of enlightenment... You are dying to spend a night with me in the palace of
wisdom." Kelly instantly slapped Morrison for his crass courtship and the ugly confrontation got uglier when the Diva’s
suitor, Balls Mahoney, charged to her rescue. Double-teamed by two of ECW’s most vile athletes, Balls gained some
assistance from ECW Champion CM Punk. Later, while third Cyber Sunday candidate Big Daddy V was battling another monster
in Kane, the four men would meet again in the tag team main event of ECW on Sci Fi. Just as they demonstrated the previous
week, the Tuesday Night Delight and the chick magnet proved unable to coexist and an in-ring miscommunication enabled the
unlikely team of Balls and Punk to seize a victory. One of Miz and Morrison’s final opportunities to earn fans’ votes
resulted in the Straightedge Superstar gaining additional fan support, as well as momentum heading into his title defense
this Sunday. Keeping the latest edition of ECW on Sci Fi as well as the last several weeks in mind, it is in YOUR hands to
elect one competitor to battle for the gold on Sunday. Will it be a pay-per-view rematch for the champion against the
500-pound Dominating Force in WWE? Could a multiple-month, hotly contested rivalry between Morrison and Punk be revived?
Or will you, our fans, vote for The Miz to receive the very first major title opportunity of his career? Will this one
last victory before the most interactive event of the year propel Punk toward success this weekend?
Elijah Burke redeemed himself for last week’s loss to Jesse & Festus when he defeated Nunzio, his partner from that
match.
Will either The Miz or Morrison be voted by our fans to take on CM Punk at Cyber Sunday? Or will Big Daddy V steal the
show and leave them both watching the pay-per-view in misery from the couch?

Days after a disappointing number of votes in his favor at Cyber Sunday, John Morrison made his way back into the title
picture on ECW on Sci Fi and relit a fiery rivalry with ECW Champion CM Punk. The Land of the Extreme was overwrought with
aberrations Tuesday night, but the gold-hungry monster inside Morrison came out in a No. 1 Contender’s Match against The
Miz. For weeks, the two self-appreciating Superstars competed for the valuable votes of our fans heading into the most
interactive event of the year. With conflicting egos and ECW Title plans, the faux-hawked ladies man and the Tuesday Night
Delight faced-off with a very vital opportunity at stake. The Cyber Sunday “popularity contest” behind him, Morrison was
able to defeat Miz in the middle of the ring and earn a championship match against the Straightedge Superstar next week.
And though he’d secured an encounter against Punk for the gold, Morrison got his licks in on the champion this week on Sci
Fi. On a night of ghouls, goblins and, of course, Boogeyman, the Shaman of Sexy made an impact in a big way on Punk
Tuesday night. Moments after the champion defeated ECW on Sci Fi opponent James Curtis, Morrison sprang from ringside
where he sat alongside Joey Styles and Tazz. His verbal attacks at the announce table turned physical in the ring as the
Shaman struck Punk from behind. Unable to see the assault coming, the Straightedge Superstar was laid out at the hands of
the new No. 1 contender. When the ECW Champion returned to his feet, however, his focus was certainly on the Tuesday Night
Delight’s displeasure for next week. Punk’s reign as champion came with the defeat of Morrison in early September. Almost
two months later, the former champion has an opportunity to return the favor in just one week on the next ECW on Sci Fi.
With it being the eve of Halloween, what better way for ECW on Sci Fi to celebrate the holiday than with ECW’s Monster
Mash Battle Royal? Kane guaranteed victory and Big Daddy V was touted by his mentor Matt Striker as a dominating force
that would roll to a win. Much of the focus was on these two. The Big Red Machine and Striker’s behemoth protégé first
gained a mutual disliking for each other in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match just weeks earlier. Then last week, they met in a
one-on-one contest, which ended abruptly when Mark Henry and The Great Khali interfered. Henry was at his best for ECW’s
Monster Mash Battle Royal, as he reigned supreme over Kane, Daddy and The Great Khali. In the closing moments, he used his
massive strength to catch the Big Red Machine and almost hurl him over the top rope. Has the answer to stopping Big Daddy
V finally been discovered: Bring in another monster?
The monstrous match wasn’t the only scary part of Halloween Eve, ECW style. Nunzio took a few children trick-or-treating
in the locker room area, only to be spooked by Boogeyman who was handing out worms. He later faced Tommy Dreamer in a
Trick-or-Treat Extreme Rules Match with Halloween party accessories for weapons at ringside. Despite dressing to the nines
for All Hallow’s Eve as Dracula, Nunzio fell to Dreamer, who was dressed as a vaguely familiar ECW personality in a trench
coat.
Elijah Burke earned a solid win against Jimmy Wang Yang to kick off ECW on Sci Fi. Along with ECW’s Monster Mash Battle
Royal, this battle shows more evidence of the business deal between ECW General Manager Armando Estrada and SmackDown
Acting GM Vickie Guerrero.

Monsters are still on the loose in the Land of the Extreme as ECW on Sci Fi kicked off with two of them when Mark Henry
faced Kane. Kane, who will be standing across the ring from Big Daddy V at Survivor Series in a Traditional Survivor
Series Elimination Match, along with Henry fittingly took part in last week’s Monster Mash Battle Royal, managing to
outlast Big Daddy V and The Great Khali as the final two competitors. When the Big Red Machine attempted to attack Henry
from the top rope, the self-proclaimed silverback caught him and virtually tossed him from the ring to earn the victory.
Henry didn’t necessarily get the better of Kane this time, though, as he was disqualified for bringing a chair into the
squared circle. Still, he took pleasure in squashing the Big Red Machine onto the chair after the bell sounded.
In a match created by The Miz to continue making Kelly Kelly's life a living hell, Layla dominated the blonde. Balls
Mahoney rushed to his favorite Diva's side, aiding her just one day after Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix made easy work of
her, as well. Mahoney and Kelly were left on the canvas while the “chick magnet” refused to enter the ring for a
confrontation and instead left with his loyal Diva.
Jamie Noble came to the Land of the Extreme and left with a win. Nunzio proved to be short of having what it takes to
defeat the SmackDown Superstar, who presented our fans with a video he made before the match. Noble has been forced to
face giants in Undertaker and The Great Khali, thanks to SmackDown Acting General Manager Vickie Guerrero. His video,
however, allowed the public to see what he can do when he faces someone his own size. His Superman-like depiction in his
bout with Rey Mysterio proved what he is allegedly capable of.
Fresh off of his Ghost Hunters experience, Elijah "The Dope from No Hope" Burke earned a convincing win against Shannon Moore. The victory marks
the second consecutive time he has defeated a SmackDown cruiserweight on ECW turf.
Coming full circle in his title reign by facing the man he defeated for the gold two months earlier, ECW Champion CM Punk
broke the cycle by beating John Morrison on ECW on Sci Fi. The Straightedge Superstar served his rival an indisputable
loss and silenced those who doubted Punk could overcome Morrison one more time with the title at stake. The champion’s
celebrating was accompanied by controversy, however, as The Miz acted on his animosity aided in the Shaman of Sexy’s ECW
Title Match defeat by simply tipping his hat. Just one week ago, the Tuesday Night Delight earned a title match against CM
Punk by scoring a victory in a No. 1 Contender’s Match against ECW’s faux-hawked Casanova. Former champion Morrison had
finally secured a much anticipated battle with Punk for the gold – the first since the Shaman lost it to Punk in early
September. With Morrison outnumbering the Straightedge Superstar in title match victories against one another, many
questioned whether CM Punk would leave the Golden State with the gold around his waist. The tenacious champion supported
his statement to WWE.com earlier in the week as it seemed Morrison might not have been “ready” for the Straightedge
Superstar. Punk took the fight to the arrogant challenger, making for a hotly contested encounter for the Land of the
Extreme’s most coveted prize. In addition to Punk’s relentless headstrong assault, the Tuesday Night Delight was also
perhaps competing against a mental distraction referred to as the “chick magnet.” Earlier in the night, Morrison bumped
into The Miz in the locker room area where they exchanged a volley of verbal disparagement. Though brief, this interaction
appeared to seep into Morrison’s head and perhaps inhibit his focus on the Straightedge Champion’s gold. Soon after, the
No. 1 contender’s mouth-off with The Miz turned physical in the main event as the chick magnet – in this case, the third
party – involved himself in the championship match. The jealous Miz earned Morrison's attention by tossing his hat at the
back of the Shaman's head. An instant later, Punk pulled out a three-count and another indelible triumph as champion. With
loathsome thoughts between Miz and Morrison escalating over the past several weeks, tonight may have been the strongest
sign to date of their shared hatred. How will these two resolve their potentially irreparable differences? More
importantly, how will it affect the ECW Championship picture and the reigning Straightedge Superstar? Find out on the next
edition of ECW on Sci Fi, as the enmity between The Miz and the Shaman of Sexy continues to develop in the backdrop of CM
Punk’s continued championship success.

Just a handful of days before a jeopardous Triple Threat Match for the ECW Title, gold-focused rivals John Morrison and
The Miz seemed to put their differences aside for the sole purpose of weakening champion CM Punk on Sci Fi. As Survivor
Series approaches at a rapid rate, the two challengers’ one-night pact may have critical implications on the Straightedge
Superstar’s title defense this Sunday. The ECW Champion may not have expected such a collaborative scheme from Miz and
Morrison after weeks of warring between the two ego-centric Superstars. In fact, though Punk most assuredly had his
Survivor Series foes in the back of his mind, the Straightedge Champion’s mind was prominently set on his ECW on Sci Fi
opponent: Jamie Noble. Less than one week earlier, CM Punk and Noble squared-off on Friday Night SmackDown, where their
contest came to an indecisive close thanks to the self-proclaimed “chick magnet” and the Shaman of Sexy. After Punk warded
off an assault by Miz and Morrison, Noble struck and dropped the ECW Champion in the middle of the ring. The SmackDown
cruiserweight met his victim from nights earlier on Punk’s terrain: The Land of the Extreme. Retaliation on the brain, CM
Punk couldn’t help but feel surrounded when both the faux-hawked Superstar and the Tuesday Night Delight came to ringside
for the match. With his triple threat challengers sitting a mere 10 feet from the action at the announce table, the
pressure was on Punk. Despite the menace of his enemies exchanging banter at ringside, the Straightedge Champion
successfully dismantled Noble, earning an all-too familiar momentum leading into his pay-per-view title defense. Before he
could celebrate, however, the ECW Champion was targeted by Morrison and Miz, who sprang from verbal pillaging to physical
attack. At the close of ECW on Sci Fi, CM Punk did not appear to have the all-important upper hand as he has for weeks. If
Miz and Morrison are suddenly on the same page, the Straightedge Superstar cannot rely on the dysfunction of his
challengers for the advantage. In fact, it appears to be the exact opposite. Will the champion have a similar fate to his
Tuesday night, live this Sunday on pay-per-view? Or can Punk rebound from the roughing-up he received from the Shaman and
the chick magnet? Could one of the cocky ECW Superstars be wearing the ECW Championship come next week?
Champions kicked off the night, as well, as WWE Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy & Montel Vontavious Porter found themselves
on opposing sides for the second consecutive night. On Raw just 24 hours earlier, The Hardys & Rey Mysterio earned a
victory over MVP, Mr. Kennedy & Finlay. Matt did nothing to help his fellow champion when his brother covered MVP for the
victory. In the Land of the Extreme, however, MVP & Mr. Kennedy had better luck in tag team action against the Hardys.
After Kennedy caused Jeff to take a nasty spill, MVP covered the unconscious Hardy for the win. To say the least, Matt
looked none-too-happy with his regular tag partner. Kennedy then went for a chair to further demolish Jeff, but with all
eyes watching, MVP suspiciously aided off the attacks to help his partner's brother.
Later in the evening, Matt Striker found himself face-to-face with the Big Red Machine. He explained that Big Daddy V is
supposedly recovering from the flu and resting up for his Survivor Series contest, adding that his behemoth protegé will
demolish Kane and his team on Sunday. Kane burst into the ring and taught Striker a lesson. He was left eating canvas,
courtesy of a chokeslam by the beast. Did Daddy get the message Kane relayed through Striker? Will he be ready come Sunday
for the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match?
Speaking of Survivor Series, we were given a sneak preview of the 10 Diva Tag Team Match when Kelly Kelly & Michelle
McCool took on Layla & Melina. The blondes ran away with the victory, perhaps foreshadowing a positive change to Kelly’s
recent hard luck since taking on more match participation.

After being pinned by Big Daddy V during the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match, Kane overcame the odds to win
a Handicap Match against Daddy and Matt Striker on ECW. But Kane’s success was fleeting tonight. Kane chokeslammed and
pinned Striker while Big Daddy V was down. The Big Red Monster picked up the win, but his luck quickly ran out after the
Handicap Match when Big Daddy V laid out the SmackDown Superstar in the ECW ring. After tonight’s match, it’s clear the
rivalry between Big Daddy V and Kane has not been resolved yet. With Striker standing firmly behind his protégé, Daddy has
proven he’s a force to be reckoned with in ECW. But will Kane be able to completely overtake Big Daddy V? While Kane’s
winning celebration was brief tonight, SmackDown’s Big Red Monster indeed has a win against Daddy in the books. But will
Big Daddy V once again have the last laugh when the monsters meet again?
Earlier in the evening, our fans received an early present for the holidays. Elijah Burke ushered in Shelton Benjamin as
ECW’s newest roster addition. It didn’t take long for the former Raw Superstar to make an impact. He defeated ECW Original
Tommy Dreamer, pleasing the brand's self-proclaimed Guiding Light. Burke announced he once led the charge to change the
Land of the Extreme, claiming he is now doing it again.
If a new Superstar wasn’t enough for our fans to kick off the holiday season, a scorching hot fight between Kelly Kelly
and Layla certainly was. Layla addressed the Tampa, Fla., audience, boasting that she is better than Kelly in every way
possible. She also made sure to give thanks for The Miz and his decision to arrange a catfight between the two Divas next
week. Before Layla could finish, Kelly attacked her and started a food fight that would make any Thanksgiving dinner fail
in comparison.
ECW Champion CM Punk kicked off ECW on Sci Fi, riding his white hot winning streak for another night. The match also
displayed the continuance of the agreement between ECW General Manager Armando Estrada and SmackDown Acting General
Manager Vickie Guerrero.
Kevin Thorn returned with his new look to ECW on Sci Fi, earning a convincing win against Nunzio. WWE Tag Team Champions
John Morrison & The Miz also offered their commentary while Jesse & Festus bested Deuce & Domino.

ECW’s newest Superstar, Shelton Benjamin, continued to make his mark in the Land of Extreme on Tuesday night. After
another introduction by Elijah Burke, Benjamin emerged with a whole new outlook, proclaiming he’s unstoppable. “The bar
has been raised. That means there is danger at the door. That means it’s only a matter of time before Shelton Benjamin is
ECW Champion,” Benjamin said. “I am the gold standard, and quite frankly, there is no one here that can stop me. And just
like the lyrics in the beginning of my song says, ‘Ain’t no stopping me now!’ ” Shelton, a three-time Intercontinental
Champion, defeated SmackDown’s Shannon Moore on Tuesday night. After beating Tommy Dreamer last week, Benjamin is
undefeated as an ECW Superstar.
The beauties were in action on ECW this week, as Kelly Kelly and Layla went one-on-one. This week, ECW’s blonde bombshell
ruled the Divas' ring and defeated her former friend, while her biggest cheerleader, Balls Mahoney, looked on. The icing
on Kelly Kelly’s victory cake? That would be her sexy pictorial in the new WWE Magazine.
SmackDown’s Jesse & Festus faced WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz in a non-title
match. The Tag Champs continued their winning streak with a controversial win, but Jesse & Festus look like serious
competition for Morrison & The Miz.
The Extreme Rules confrontation between two real-life monsters – Kane and Big Daddy V – ended with a victory bellow from
The Dominating Force in WWE, but not before a new large menace reared its dreadlocked head: Mark Henry. The World’s
Strongest Man made a startling and bone-wrecking appearance at the conclusion of the titans’ tussle, in the favor of the
500-pound ECW Superstar. Though a towering, hellfire-fueled demon himself, even the Big Red Monster could not endure the
unrestrained wrath of dual beasts. Since the inauguration of the SmackDown/ECW talent exchange agreement, the Big Red
Machine and Big Daddy V exchanged world-shifting blows week after week on both programs. The month-long rivalry between
the beefy combatants was scheduled to culminate Tuesday night under the ECW brand’s signature contest, an Extreme Rules
Match. As they used tables, Singapore canes and literally anything their girthy palms could grasp, the warriors took each
other the limit. The collision that many fans were anxious to witness just about displaced the Roanoke Civic Center, as
the arena’s foundation quaked beneath the exploding behemoths. Kane’s downfall, however, would come as part of an
oversized alliance between two of sports-entertainment’s most feared competitors on Tuesday night. With nearly half a ton
of humanity in Henry and Big Daddy V’s standing shoulder-to-shoulder, a grim pit undoubtedly formed in the stomachs of all
those in the Land of the Extreme. What led the World’s Strongest Man to his role in Kane’s physical decimation? Is this an
isolated critical level event or is it the beginning of a new era of enormity in ECW?

Whether it was official tag teams or two mammoth-sized Superstars looking to bring pain to the ECW Champion’s life,
wanderers of the Land of the Extreme were seeing twos.
The Beauty & the Beast tandem of Kelly Kelly & Balls Mahoney proved that their perfect formula of good looks and brawn
make up a force in the mixed tag team sect in the world of sports-entertainment. ECW’s favorite couple earned a win
against SmackDown’s Victoria & Kenny Dykstra when ECW on Sci Fi aired at a special time on Thursday night. The ECW
Original rolled Dykstra into an inescapable package, leaving Kenny and his significant other stunned.
The Miz can be thanked for Kelly’s recent return to the ring, pitting her in hand-picked contests in an attempt to make
her life a living hell. The blond beauty has managed to persevere, however, and has found a way to no longer be one of the
hottest Divas only outside the ring, but inside as well.
ECW kicked off with the WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz. The once seemingly unlikely pair earned a hard
fought victory against the Major Brothers when the Shaman of Sexy got the three-count on Brett. Morrison & The Miz
certainly rubbed each other the wrong way in the beginning, but like their WWE Tag Team Champion predecessors, Matt Hardy &
Montel Vontavious Porter, they have added up to a very successful combination.
Another force taking the Land of the Extreme by storm is its newest Superstar, Shelton Benjamin. The self-proclaimed “Gold
Standard” of sports-entertainment told our fans that they will like him. Audiences prefer a winner, and that’s exactly
what Benjamin is. To further prove his case, Shelton gave Jimmy Wang Yang a heapin’ helpin’ of his own “magic” on his way
to his third consecutive victory since moving over from Raw.
Kevin Thorn continued his streak of recent success in convincing fashion. Also, our fans caught their first glimpse of
Kofi Kingston, a man who is prepared for trouble in the Tuesday night paradise of ECW.
It appeared that any choice CM Punk made on ECW on Sci Fi was going to be a painful one. Such proved to be the case on
Thursday night until the Big Red Machine came to exact retribution on the gargantuan duo of Big Daddy V and Mark Henry. By
the end of the night, it seemed the aligned behemoths may have been the ones who made a critical choice – a wrong one –
when they attacked Kane a week earlier. It was to be the “Champion’s Choice,” where the Straightedge Superstar would answer
the challenge of either the 500-pound beast known by the letter “V” or the World’s Strongest Man from SmackDown. With all
signs illuminating a no-win situation for Punk, the ECW Champion abandoned choice and threw caution to the winds of
chance. No matter what, the Straightedge Superstar was prepared to compete against either giant, and opted to leave the
decision in the sinister hands of Matt Striker. A coin toss later, the ring bell sounded to commence a competitive contest
between Punk and the World’s Strongest Man. Clearly outsized and overpowered, CM Punk fought and kept his head above water
during the taxing encounter. Averting near decapitation from Henry’s repeated clotheslines and crushing body blows, the ECW
Champion still sustained a steady attack of quick kicks. The educated feet of Punk, however, only got him so far until the
lingering 500-pound mastodon outside the ring got involved. Wedged between both The Dominating Force in WWE and the
self-touted king of the SmackDown jungle, the champion earned a victory by disqualification, but fell to the Titanic-sized
pair. Suddenly, a fiery blaze signaled the intervention of Kane, who was similarly victimized by this oversized ogres on
the previous edition on ECW on Sci Fi. Just more than one week ago, the quarter-ton titans obliterated the Big Red Monster
in the final moments of his Extreme Rules Match against Big Daddy V. Given the intent in the big booted stride of Kane,
the destructive SmackDown Superstar was seeking – physical – reprisal. Wielding a steel chair, the frenzied 7-footer
advanced toward the battle to the aid of the Straightedge Champion. The Big Red Machine dueled weapons with Big Daddy and
Henry (who also bore chairs), blasting the Extreme Mastodon and causing his other foe to flee. Fortunately for CM Punk,
the odds were evened up on ECW on Sci Fi. Otherwise, the combined brutality of Striker’s assemblage may have yielded
permanent damage to the ECW Champion and possibly jeopardized his reign. Though Kane thwarted any additional injury,
connecting cold steel with the vast back of Big Daddy V will likely not be enough for the Big Red Monster.

Gold was the color of the night on ECW on Sci Fi as four championship titles made their way through the Land of the
Extreme.
Batista may have his Triple Threat Match at Armageddon on his mind, but he needed to set those thoughts aside momentarily
for ECW. The Animal experienced just as much success as he did last week when he defeated Elijah Burke on SmackDown,
despite the fact that the rematch was on the Guiding Light’s territory. Just days away from his date with destiny at the
pay-per-view, Batista made the Land of the Extreme shake on his way to a powerful victory.
Kelly Kelly received a wake-up call back to reality as the tandem of Layla & Victoria proved to be too much for the blond
beauty in their Handicap Match. The Miz has spent weeks trying to make Kelly’s life a living hell, scheduling match after
match. Kelly, however, has managed to fair well in those contests, for the most part. But in her task at taking on two
Divas at once, Kelly fell short. A bright spot for the former member of Extreme Exposé came after the bell when Michelle
McCool rushed to her side.
When he’s not busy making life difficult for Kelly, The Miz is finding success of his own in the squared circle. His
success with John Morrison continues as the unlikely pair showed why they are the WWE Tag Team Champions when they took on
Shannon Moore & Jimmy Wang Yang. Individually, the Shaman of Sexy and the self-proclaimed “chick magnet” are tough
athletes for anyone to face. Together, they have been one of the most successful forces in sports-entertainment today.
Outside of the ring, Shelton Benjamin reminded our fans that he is the new gold standard in ECW. Will he prove to make a
great impact on ECW? Only time will tell.
As foreboding a duo Big Daddy V and Mark Henry are, the unlikely tandem of ECW Champion CM Punk and the Big Red Machine
just might have the right antidote to counteract the half-ton terrors’ recent trail of dominance. The Straightedge
Superstar and Kane faced former WWE Tag Team Champions Deuce & Domino in a true test of their cohesive capabilities before
Armageddon. Skillfully weaving their unique in-ring talents, the champion and the 7-foot hellfire-fueled demon prevailed,
just days before they battle the biggest threat in WWE today. Thrust together by ECW General Manager Armando Estrada to
combat the colossal combo of the World’s Strongest Man and The Dominating Force in WWE, the Straightedge Champion and Kane
proved to be a fully functioning squad on ECW on Sci Fi. Despite the newfound fire in these two Superstars’ partnership,
their enemies – Henry and Big Daddy V – are the largest, most volatile team to ever set girthy foot in the Land of the
Extreme. It was just weeks ago that the Extreme Mastodon found himself standing hoof-to-hoof with Mark Henry. The SmackDown
monster aided the 500-pound ECW Superstar in dismantling Kane. Before they could do the same to CM Punk last week, the Big
Red Monster interrupted their beastly feast. This Sunday at Armageddon, the odds will be evened (though the scales might
not be) in a huge tag team encounter. Though not in action this week, the bellicose behemoths – and their craven associate,
Matt Striker – had a chilling message for their Sunday night opponents. “Kane, your decade of destruction, fire and
brimstone will all be over at Armageddon," bellowed Big Daddy V. "You have one option," Henry told CM Punk, "Run." Might
Henry and V be as unstoppable as they claim? Or do CM Punk and Kane wield the necessary weapons to tame
sports-entertainment’s most lethal beasts?

The Land of the Extreme turned upside down on ECW on Sci Fi Tuesday night, as champions licked their wounds and
challengers celebrated.
The most confident tandem in sports-entertainment, WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz, kicked off the evening
when they took on Shannon Moore & Jimmy Wang Yang. Our fans on ECW Fan Feedback asked to see the rematch of these two tag
teams, and WWE delivered. Since upsetting MVP & Matt Hardy and taking their titles, Morrison & The Miz have been able to
put aside their personal differences for the good of remaining champions. It was a different story when they entered the
ring for a rematch of last week's bout, however, as Moore & Yang's hard work since their last meeting paid off with a win.
After Moore & Yang’s victory over the WWE Tag Team Champions, it’s hard not to question the chemistry and communication
between the Shaman of Sexy and the self-proclaimed “chick magnet.” Is a common goal truly enough to keep these competitors
working efficiently together? Or is the gap between them, initially sparked by their personal desires to unseat CM Punk as
ECW Champion, too much to overcome?
Shelton Benjamin had a better night than Morrison & The Miz. The man who considers himself to be the “Gold Standard” in
ECW has yet to suffer defeat since joining the roster, though our fans and Tazz called into question his most recent
opponent. A hometown athlete taking part in his first match was no contest for Benjamin, who announced once again before
leaving the arena that there "ain’t no stopping him now."
Speaking of new Superstars, Kofi Kingston offered a tour of his home, Jamaica. He brought another message to ECW,
continuing to warn the roster that he intends on bringing trouble to Tuesday night paradise.
Nunzio dressed for the holiday season. Even after setting the bar so high with his Halloween costume,
Nunzio still did not disappoint. Unfortunately, while he succeeded in impressing with his elf outfit, he fell short in his
match against Kenny Dykstra.
The ECW Champion’s bad week began at Armageddon underneath the massive body of Big Daddy V, but it somehow grew worse on
Tuesday night as CM Punk was on the foul end of an attack by not just MVP, but also Chavo Guerrero. After the United States
Champion refused to break an illegal hold despite the referee's persistent warning, Porter was disqualified on ECW. This
didn't stop MVP from continuing his attack on a weakened Punk after the bell. Then, in an assault that no one could have
ever predicted, Guerrero – who hasn’t been seen in months – came to the Land of the Extreme and hand-picked the ECW
Champion to be his victim. Two days after being pinned by the 500-pound Extreme Mastodon on pay-per-view, the Straightedge
Superstar brought his bruised body to ECW on Sci Fi where he competed in a rare Champion vs. Champion contest against U.S.
Champion MVP. Like Punk, Porter was also served a dose of defeat on Sunday; the U.S. Champ retreated from his match with
Rey Mysterio, resulting in a count-out loss for MVP. With his chin still high and his competitive spirit still very much
in tact, CM Punk was prepared to pick up where Mysterio left off at Armageddon and humble the Ballin’ Superstar in
Rochester, N.Y. For the first time, the Straightedge Champion locked up one-on-one with Porter, yielding a true showcase
of athleticism from both tenacious, gifted warriors. The gold-laden encounter came to a controversial close, however, as
the young, championship bearing lions' encounter ended with MVP getting himself disqualified. Moments after the official
decision was rendered, an irate Porter unleashed his frustrations onto the worn tattoed Superstar and left Punk down in
the center of the ring. To make matters much worse, the pugnacious former Cruiserweight Champion, Chavo Guerrero, invaded
the ECW squared circle and laid waste to its titleholder. Proving true to the literal meaning of his namesake, Guerrero
relentlessly ravaged the already battle weary CM Punk with a triad of suplexes and a huge frog splash.

The last edition of ECW on Sci Fi in 2007 will look back on some of the greatest (and most extreme) moments from the past
year.
Going into 2008, ECW Champion CM Punk’s title might as well be a golden target in the Land of the Extreme. As if Big Daddy
V and Mark Henry didn’t add up to a big enough problem for the champion, Chavo Guerrero is now making efforts to knock
Punk off of the pinnacle point in ECW. Thanks to United States Champion Montel Vontavious Porter making room for him,
Guerrero made sure the Straightedge Superstar wouldn’t go to bed without a headache. What further measures will this
hungry competitor take to crash CM Punk’s party?
WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz & John Morrison’s luck may have run out. After weeks of success in combining their efforts,
the duo fell to Shannon Moore & Jimmy Wang Yang on ECW on Sci Fi. Can they recover and get past their differences to keep
hold of the gold or are their days as champions numbered?
Shelton Benjamin tore through questionable competition – a man taking part in his first match. Is there
something out there that can bring him down or is the self-proclaimed “Gold Standard” right when he claims there is no
stopping him?
Tune into a very special edition of ECW on Sci Fi on Tuesday this week and relive memorable moments from 2007. And find
out the answers to all of these questions and more next week when the Superstars return to the ring.
