Since being named the General Manager of RAW, Eric Bischoff promised that he would do everything in his power to provide the most entertaining show possible. In an attempt to keep his promise, Bischoff started the October 14 episode of RAW with a colossal World Tag Team Championship match, pitting the champs Kane and Hurricane against tag team extraordinaire Christian and Chris Jericho.
One week after being accused of murder by Triple H, Kane obviously had a great deal on his mind. It didn't show, however, as Kane and his tag team partner put on an amazing show. Their luck did dry up, though, when Chris Jericho illegally used the ropes for leverage, pinning Hurricane.
Later in the show, a confused Kane decided it was time to set the record straight. In a remorseful voice, Kane admitted that he was somewhat responsible for Katie Vick's death, however, he claimed that it was an accident. According to Kane, he was simply driving her home from a party because she had too much to drink. The weather was bad and visibility became low. It was then that Kane drove off the road. The accident broke Kane's arm, but took Katie's life.
Triple H soon came from the backstage area to interject. According to The Game, Kane's story was only partly true. Kane apparently forgot to mention that he too had been drinking. In addition, Triple H mentioned that at Katie's autopsy, doctors found traces of Kane's semen, leaving Hunter to ask two upsetting questions -- Did Kane force himself on her while she was alive? Or did he wait until she was dead?
At the end of the night, Kane attempted to gain any sort of revenge on Triple H. A crazed Kane hit the ring, but the champ quickly took cover. The big man then targeted his assault on anyone and everyone that was in his sight.
Last week, the beautiful Victoria provided the fans with a vague message regarding her hatred for Trish Stratus. This week, she had an equally disturbing, but less vague message, stating that while she would do anything to get to the top, Trish would do anyone.
In a touching tribute, Eric Bischoff called Pat Patterson to the ring to pay honor to the Intercontinental Championship and the first-ever holder of the title. After a historic video presentation, Bischoff's true colors came crashing through as Rosey and Jamal attacked the retired Patterson. Gerald Brisco attempted to save his good buddy, but he too fell victim to the attack of the monstrous tag team.
Third generation superstar Randy Orton informed the fans that he had bad news
for them. Unfortunately, he had suffered a severe shoulder injury that would
keep a normal man out nine to 12 months. Luckily for all his fans, Randy said he
would be back in a mere three to four months. While Randy thought he was giving
the people of Montreal good news concerning his recovery, the fans did not show
their appreciation. In fact, the capacity crowd showed how much they were
looking forward to him leaving by chanting "good bye!" Before heading
backstage, Randy reminded everybody that Montreal was the place where Bret Hart
was screwed. But unlike Bret Hart, Randy said that he would be back.
Triple H's disgusting game with Kane continued on RAW. Just one week after accusing Kane
of having sexual relations with Katie Vick, the Game said he had a tape proving that the
action was done after Katie had died. The idea of watching Kane with Katie's corpse freaked
out the capacity Tennessee crowd. Luckily for them, the whole thing was a hoax set up by
Triple H. As soon as the footage aired, it became painfully clear that the man on the tape
was Triple H dressed up as Kane. As Kane, Triple H pretended to have sex with a fake corpse.
The act was undoubtedly the most disturbing event ever seen on WWEtelevision.
At the end of the night, Kane, looking for revenge, beat Triple H within an inch of his life.
He then put the Champion in the trunk of a car. Talking to the Game from the outside, Kane
informed Triple H that he was now going to screw him. The only question is whether he'll do
it now or just wait until he's dead.
For a second week in a row, Al Snow was ringside for Christopher Nowinski's match. Again,
Snow's unintentional help aided in a Nowinski victory, this time over Jeff Hardy. Later
in the show, Nowinski looked to return the favor, however, his actions cost Snow his match
with Dreamer, rather than helping him.
Also on RAW, Lance Storm and William Regal looked to set the record straight. According to
Storm, the Un-Americans are finished, but Regal and Storm are very much together. The two
superstars share a common bond -- a hatred for America. According to the team, America is a
deteriorating country, and it will only be a matter of time before the citizens of America
realize that Storm and Regal know what they are bloody talking about.
For weeks, Big Show has let Eric Bischoff know exactly how unhappy he has been with his spot
on the RAW roster. Never one to take disrespect from anybody, Bischoff used his power to put
Show in a Handicap Match against Rosey, Jamal and Rico. Unbelievably, Big Show pulled off the
victory. After the match, an angry Bischoff told Big Show he had been traded. Who he was
traded for was not revealed.
Triple H's disrespect for Kane and Katie Vick continued on RAW. After simulating sex last week with a mannequin, which was supposed to be Katie's dead body, the Game brought the same mannequin to the show and into the ring. The Game then interviewed "Katie Vick." Kane wasn't going to take any of it. The Big Red Monster soon hit the ring. The two superstars went at it for several minutes. Not even the numerous superstars from backstage could keep them off each other. Finally, Eric Bischoff demanded that the action stop. He then let Kane and Triple H know that they would be fighting in a Casket Match later in the evening.
As in past Casket Matches, the action was hot. On several different occasions, it appeared that both superstars was going to put their foe away. The end did not come, however, until Shawn Michaels snuck out of the casket and attacked Triple H. The sneak attack proved to be enough for Kane to get the win.
A hidden camera spotted Trish Stratus in her locker room getting changed. In addition to losing her clothes, Trish was also overheard on the phone. She was thanking the person on the other line for taking care of her after her match last week. She finished the conversation by telling that person that she loved him or her. The segment left fans with many questions. Who does Trish love? What kind of care did this person give Trish. And who is mysteriously taping Trish?
Later in the show, the same camera caught Triple H on his cell phone in his locker room. Not long after, Eric Bischoff took full credit for the hidden camera he calls F-View. It is just one of many elements of sports entertainment exclusive to RAW.
Also exclusive to RAW is the innovative Elimination Chamber. Bischoff told the fans in Detroit that the Elimination Chamber will feature elements of Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and War Games. It will also be for the World Heavyweight Championship, and will include Triple H, Y2J, Booker T, RVD, Kane and Shawn Michaels.
Shawn Michaels had a message for both Eric Bischoff and Triple H Monday night during
his first appearance in Boston since WrestleMania XIV. When the first-ever Elimination
Chamber Match kicks off at Survivor Series, the Showstopper will be ready to challenge
for the World Heavyweight Championship!
Triple H and Ric Flair spent the day looking over their shoulders, walking around
backstage at the FleetCenter in fear of a Shawn Michaels sneak attack. Triple H
even took out some of his frustrations on Bischoff, saying he hasn't liked how
the General Manager has treated him lately. He particularly took issue with Bischoff
putting the moves on his ex-wife last week on SmackDown!, and he let The Bisch know it!
HBK waited until the final match of the evening to deliver some Sweet Chin Music to
The Game and help Booker T and Kane pull out a wni over the champion and Chris Jericho!
Christopher Nowinski thought he was the only Tough Enough alumnus on RAW these days,
but Maven surprised the Harvard graduate in the ring! The first Tough Enough Champion
made his first appearance since breaking his leg months ago on SmackDown! Is Maven on
RAW to stay or was this a one-shot deal? Tune in to RAW next week for the answer!
In other action, the 3-Minute Warning tandem of Rosey and Jamal slipped past Jeff Hardy
and Bubba Ray Dudley, and Trish Stratus spoiled Ivory's RAW debut. Trish has her work
cut out for her at Survivor Series, where she'll take on Victoria in a Hardcore Match!
Dave Batista had an amazing first outing on RAW, demolishing Justin Credible in brutal
fashion. Plus, Stacy Keibler convinced Test to cut off his long hair by promising that
doing so would make his "Testicles" grow! Also, Randy Orton gave an update on his condition.
The young Superstar has regained even more movement in his injured shoulder.
Speculation has swirled around just what the Elimination Chamber could be. RAW provided
a glimpse of the contraption. It's not quite a steel cage. It's not quite Hell in a Cell.
It is definitely, however, innovative. What will happen when the World Heavyweight
Championship goes on the line inside its walls? Find out on Nov. 17 at Survivor Series!
More information was learned about the Elimination Chamber Match during this
tense episode of RAW. On Sunday night at Madison Square Garden, six men will
enter the Elimination Chamber, but only one will exit the mammoth steel contraption
with the World Heavyweight Championship!
RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff showed that his innovative Elimination Chamber
is a towering cage-like structure that will encircle the ring. All six men will
be placed inside separate chambers. One will open at random every five minutes
and release the superstar inside. The match will continue as long as necessary
until only one man is left standing!
Judging from the events on RAW, it's completely unpredictable as to who that man
will be. By the night's end All six men involved had gotten to each other's throats.
Chris Jericho made a strong case for his cause. Not only did Y2J assault Kane and RVD
viciously during the first match of the evening, but Jericho stood tall at the end
after cracking both Triple H and Shawn Michaels with a steel chair!
Bischoff also had exciting news to announce about Super Tuesday. On Tuesday night,
WWE will air a special hour of action starting at 9 ET on UPN. The evening will be
highlighted by an incredible 10-man Tag Team Match that pits Kane, Booker T,
Bubba Ray Dudley, Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy against Chris Jericho, Christian,
Triple H, Rosey and Jamal! Plus, Women's Champion Trish Stratus takes on Torrie
Wilson in a special interpromotional Bikini Match!
Fittingly, Super Tuesday marks the release of the hotly-anticipated WWE
Anthology. The three CD set contains more than three hours of WWE music from
yesterday through today.
It was also revealed on RAW that Jeff Hardy will team with Bubba Ray and Spike
Dudley this Sunday against 3-Minute Warning and Rico in a 6-man Tag Team Table
Match! RAW provided a glimpse of this incredible match-up as 3-Minute Warning
Defeated Bubba Ray and Spike in a Tag Team Match. After the final bell sounded,
Rosey set Spike and Jeff up on the same table and Jamal leapt off the top rope
to send them crashing through the wood!
Randy Orton revealed that he suffered a setback in his rehabilitation. The
sling supporting the young Superstar's injured shoulder caused his skin to
chaff. Thankfully, doctors were able to treat the irritation before infection
could set in.

RVD wins a title shot!
With a crushed trachea putting Triple H out of action, the fight
was on during RAW for the right to face Shawn Michaels for the World Heavyweight
Championship!
RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff planned to make the winner of a Triple Threat Match the No. 1 Contender and give that Superstar a title shot on next week's show. But the plan went awry as Scott Steiner rushed in and used his massive frame to beat up Chris Jericho. Steiner had crossed paths with Y2J's massive ego earlier in the evening, and he made sure to get the last word. His interference allowed RVD to hit the Five-Star Frog Splash on Y2J and get the pinfall! Next week on RAW, Rob Van Dam will get the chance to become the World Heavyweight Champion when he goes one-on-one with Shawn Michaels!
The Dudley Boyz picked up right where they left off last Sunday night at Survivor Series. Bubba Ray and D-Von teamed up to hit the 3D on Rico and picked up the win along with brother Spike over 3-Minute Warning.
Even though Test was busy on a promotional tour in India, Stacy Keibler continued to talk him up to his Testicles. Stacy went to the ring and shot several of Test's new T-shirts out into the crowd with a cannon. Steven Richards interrupted her and threatened to teach her a lesson, knowing full well that Test wasn't there to protect her. But Stacy stood up for herself and fired a T-shirt at blistering speed right into Steven's groin! As the Diva laughed at Steven's anguished cries, Victoria assaulted her viciously. The new Women's Champion even bit one of Stacy's fingernails off!
Later on in the night, Stacy and Victoria clashed in Victoria's first title defense. The champ upheld her title in convincing fashion, but she was blindsided by Trish
Stratus! This time, Steven Richards bailed out Victoria by planting Trish soundly into the mat.
In other action, the student became the teacher as Christopher Nowinski outsmarted Al Snow and picked up a win. Nowinski moved at the last second and caused the Tough Enough trainer to Moonsault through two steel chairs!

The Game made his first televised appearance since dropping the World Heavyweight Championship
at Survivor Series and destroyed Rob Van Dam's hopes of defeating Shawn Michaels for the title on RAW!
Triple H interrupted the evening's main event by hitting the Pedigree on Van Dam outside the ring.
The Cerebral Assassin further proved that he's well on the way to recovering from his throat injury
when he slammed Shawn Michaels' spine through a steel chair! Is The Game after the World Heavyweight
Championship or is he out for vengeance on RVD for injuring him in the Elimination Chamber?
Sean Morley -- formerly known as Val Venis -- revealed on RAW that general manager Eric Bischoff
appointed the Superstar as his chief of staff. The position requires that Morley enforce rules and
keep the Superstars in line. Morley got off to a quick start in his new position with the opening
match of the night. Morley overruled two finishes in a Tag Team Championship Match pitting the Dudley
Boyz against Y2J and Christian. The third time was definitely a charm for the defending champions who
managed to retain their titles thanks to some overlooked interference by Christian.
But the Dudleys would have the last word before RAW was through. The brothers hijacked Christian
and Y2J's bags while the champs were showering. After stomping around in towels for much of the
evening Jericho and Christian found the Dudleys in the ring, tossing the clothes from their bags
into the crowd! Bubba told the champs that if they were going to steal the Dudley's tag titles,
then he and D-Von would swipe their dignity. With that, Spike Dudley sneaked up on Christian and
Y2J and whipped off their towels! Concerned about "shrinkage" the two champs scrambled backstage.
In some other exciting action, Victoria and Trish Stratus wrestled in an incredible match that saw
Victoria slip away with the Women's Championship in tow, and Batista showed his dominating strength
by etching out a win over Kane -- thanks in part to some help from Ric Flair.

RVD fought HBK to a No Contest
The last thing that Shawn Michaels wanted was for Triple H to become the No. 1
Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Not only did The Game earn a
shot at HBK and the title at Armageddon, but it was Michaels that counted the
final pinfall of the night that made The Game victorious.
Under orders from Eric Bischoff, Michaels served as the special guest referee for
the match between Rob Van Dam and Triple H that would decide the No. 1 Contender's
spot. Bischoff warned HBK to call the match down the middle or risk being stripped
of the World Heavyweight Championship. HBK pledged to call a straightforward match,
but it became obvious that the champ was doing everything in his power to give RVD
the victory. Ironically, it was RVD who came to blows with Michaels, although inadvertently. On several
occasions, RVD mistimed his unorthodox offense and crashed into the ref. The final
time sealed Van Dam's fate as The Game took control and covered his opponent as
Michaels slapped out a three count!
One title went on the line during RAW unexpectedly. Fed up at seeing Goldust and
Christian interfere in the singles match between Booker T and Chris Jericho,
Bischoff's chief of staff Sean Morley declared the singles competition a no contest.
However, he instructed all four men to immediately take part in a Tag Team Championship
match right there! Despite being caught off guard, Christian and Y2J barely managed to
escape with the gold around their waists once again.
Bischoff'snight didn't end up as fortunate as Christian and Y2J's. Bischoff thought he
could sway Scott Steiner to sign with RAW by plying him with a handful of Texas'
hottest girls. But Steiner informed the RAW General Manager that he had the
hottest freak in the world waiting in his limo. Bischoff eagerly followed Big
Poppa Pump to his car, and whipped open the door to come face to face with
Stephanie McMahon! Bischoff's jaw dropped as Stephanie mockingly said that she
could give Steiner something that Bischoff never could. Steiner, who now appears
to be a part of the SmackDown! roster, drove away with his new boss while
Bischoff steamed!

Triple H def. Rob Van Dam
Shawn Michaels has already proved that his body is up to the challenges of defending
his World Heavyweight Championship. Monday night on RAW, the champ took a leap of faith
to show that he's got the heart to step into the ring this Sunday against Triple H!
After deciding that seeing two sworn enemies go one on one just wasn't enough to
satisfy, RAW General Manager had Chief Morley declare the HBK/Triple H showdown at Armageddon
this Sunday to be a Best of Three Falls Match! The gala will start out as a
Street Fight, followed by a cage match! If both men survive, the World Heavyweight Championship
will be decided in a Ladder Match!
Ric Flair confronted Michaels and questioned whether the champ has the heart to get through Armageddon.
Flair said he once came to the realization several years ago that HBK was the best wrestler alive.
The Nature Boy said he willingly stepped back when he knew he was no longer on top. Flair then pointed
to Triple H, saying that The Game is the top wrestler alive today, and he implored HBK to do the right
thing and get out of his way.
Michaels, though, did anything but get out of the way. HBK dropped Triple H and Flair with an iron
shovel in the parking lot outside the arena! Even throwing his Armageddon opponent into a garbage
dumpster didn't satisfy the champ. In a showing of the daredevil attitude that made him a legend,
Michaels climbed to the roof of a tractor-trailer and leapt onto The Game from some 20 feet in the air!
After crawling out of the destruction he wrought, Michaels vowed that no one would ever question his
heart again after Armageddon this Sunday!
RAW saw another blockbuster match made for Armageddon. The World Tag Team Championship will go on the
line with three teams contending for the titles against current titleholders Christian and Chris Jericho.
Booker T and Goldust, The Dudley Boyz and William Regal and Lance Storm will each have a shot to walk
out of the pay-per-view with the titles! Who will survive the Fatal Fourway and take WWE gold?

It appeared, however, as though the Triple H appreciation ceremony was going to be pulled off without a hitch. After a detailed video presentation, Triple H grabbed the mic to thank his fans. It was then that Steiner hit the ring. When Big Poppa Pump entered the squared circle, he signed his RAW contract. As a signing bonus, Steiner was awarded a shot at Triple H's World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble. Before going off the air, Steiner allowed The Game to get the first punch in on him. The champ simply slipped out of the ring and back up the ramp.
Earlier in the show, Shawn Michaels commented on his loss to Triple H at Armageddon, saying his own performance stole the show. Despite losing the World Heavyweight Championship, HBK said he is alive and well. And even though he went down, he went down in a blaze of glory. Then, in an attempt to prove his heart is still in it, he challenged The Game. But when he called for the new champ, he got Chris Jericho.
In a somber voice, Jericho told Michaels that it was sad to
watch him at Armageddon. He went on to tell him that at one point, Michaels was
his idol, but now he is damaged goods and that he should hang up his boots.
Finally, Y2J told the fans that HBK stood for Has Been Kid. Having had enough,
Michaels clocked Jericho with Sweet Chin Music and walked back to the locker
room as his music played.

J.R. teamed with Jerry "The King" Lawler against William Regal and Lance Storm in a match ordered by Eric Bischoff, who was upset about some scurrilous comments the broadcast tandem had made. Although intended to be a punishment, it turned into a celebration as J.R. got the pinfall on Regal to get the win! The stadium erupted as Oklahoma City cheered as the proudest Sooners fan of them all clocked Regal with brass knuckles to set up the final decision.
Scott Steiner gave a preview of what he intends to do to Triple H next month at the Royal Rumble. Big Poppa Pump shot down Triple H's accusations that his peaks were all for show and wouldn't amount to much in a real fight. The Big Bad Booty Daddy took The Game to task and soundly defeated him in an arm wrestling match set up in the middle of the ring!
In a match that could warm anyone up in even the coldest of weather, Trist Stratus, Stacy Keibler and Jacqueline defeated Ivory, Victoria and Molly Holly in a wild affair that had all six Divas in hot action. Plus, Booker T and Goldust managed to uphold their World Tag Team Championship by slipping past Chris Jericho and Christian.
